View 6 Replies View Relatedi unlocked my BlackBerry Torch at ProMobileMotion.com which was recommended somewhere on these forums , i used to have an issue with my Unlocked Torch before going there, i wasn't able to recieve or send MMS or use the browser, after getting the unlock from that site, everything works including facebook FINALLY! My question is, when i go over seas, which i tend to do at least once a year, and i put a new sim card in, will i need to reconfigure my settings again? or will the browser and mms automatically work with no issue?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to a Torch 9810 with OS7 on it. Started installing apps (did a clean install of Apps instead of installing from a backup or anything), but when I went to run the app, I couldn't find it in the All tab. But when I go into Options>Device>Apllication Management, it shows the program installed. So tried to install several other apps and the same thing happened.
So I had taken a picture of something and went to the Media tab to view the pictures. And lo and behold, there were all the Apps I installed, in the Media tab. So tried to move them to the All tab and it would let me, only allowed me to move the App to a different location on the Media tab, not to any other tab.
So first, how do I get the Apps to install in the correct folder? And second, how do I move the Apps I do have installed to a different tab?
I just bought the BB Torch 9810 recently and there were some apps already installed on it. Two of the already installed apps were Bejeweled and Telenav. Telenav had to be fully downlaoded, but was a free version. After I connected my phone to Blackberry Desktop Manager, both of these apps disappeared. I was unable to recover either. The Telenav icon was still on the homescreen, but then after downloading it like before, it asked me to buy the app in order to be able to use it. When I first downloaded it, I was able to use it everything on it including the step-by-step voice directions without having to pay for it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling again to see if that was the problem, but it continued to ask me to buy it in order to use it. How do I recover apps that came already installed on the device when I purchased it?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have recently activated an AT&T BB Torch 9810. I have received messages stating a couple apps including App World have updates ready to download.I tap on the link to update App World, Im greeted with the There is a newer version available 3.0.0.xx Tapping update gives me the green circle working prompt with a network activity icon, then disappears and nothing happens. Checking the App status, app world is listed as version 2.x.x, so clearly it is not updating. The device is logged into the BB account, and the terms and conditions has been accepted.I have tried downloading the app world update, and also facebook and BBM updates, on both my wireless carrier network and my home WiFi, with the same green working circle, and then nothing.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded from Bold 9000 to Torch 9810. I think BlackBerries are superb but . there are quite a few basic apps I had on my Bold, which show as 'unavailable for this device' in App World when I try and get them for my Torch 9810. A good example is the MobileMoney mobile banking app, and also the NatWest mobile banking app. When I tried to get the BB Feedback App, so I could request BB do something about it, the Feedback App itself was 'unavailable for this device' Is it just because the 9810 is such a new device and BB are working hard to get all the Apps available - or do they just not really care about Apps availability at all ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure how to connect my school email to my blackberry Torch. My school e-mail is weird because when I go inside everything looks exactly like gmail but it isn't exactly gmail beacuse you can't sign on from www.gmail.com. Gotta go through the school website. It does provide instructions on how to link to the Blackberry but it doens't work for the Torch because the option doesn't exist.
(Instructions)To set up the BlackBerry's email client with Google Apps email (IMAP), just follow these steps:
On your BlackBerry device, navigate to your home screenSelect the icon that lets you set up email (this can be called Setup, Setup Wizard, Email Setup, BlackBerry Set-up, E-mail settings, or Personal Email Set-up)Follow the setup instructions provided on your device to create a new e-mail accountBe sure to enter the following:Mail Server: imap.gmail.comUsername: [your full Google Apps email address]Password: [your Google Apps password]IMAP Port: 993Allow the system to add your account, but do not enter your Google Apps password into the utility boxes (this causes the system to default to POP3 instead of IMAP)Select NextSelect Next again (bypassing the 'Additional Information Required' section)Select your account type, then select Next. You may encounter a 'We were unable to configure...' error. Select I will provide the settings to continueSelect the option that mentions 'IMAP/POP'Select I will provide the settings..., then select NextSelect Set up existing email account...Enter your Google Apps account information here, with 'imap.gmail.com' as your mail serverSelect NextSelect Save

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 9800 from ATT works great and I really like using this but the annoying aspect of the phone is that it randomly uninstalls my applications. Today, the Blackberry software gift, DriveSafe.ly enterprise edition uninstalled itself and it's no longer on my phone. The reason I know this is that when I go to the App world and click on the app, it says "download now" and if it was already there, it should say "already installed." This part of the Blackberry is my most annoying issue. Is there another way? With the free apps it's easy, just re-install. But with this one since it was gifted do I have to pay to get it re-install? I have not gone through a restore yet, hoping don't have to.
