i just bought BB torch on ebay, mobile is showing full signals but whenever i dial any number it says No services currently available.In IT policy it says "NO SERVICES" In service status it shows disconnected.connection not connected?

So, for the first few days, all was well. Then today when I ventured out away from home (3G coverage), I lost all data connections. It still says 3G and I still have a strong signal, but the little Blackberry logo is gone next to the 3G and I literally can not do anything besides talk.Once back in WiFi, all is well. The Blackberry logo appears next to the WiFi signal and I am golden. If I turn WiFi off, same thing, logo disappears and no data connections available.Anyone run in to this? I didnt do anything that should affect this and I thought maybe we were having a BIS outage in Milwaukee, but am not seeing anything.

Anyone have any solutions? I tried cycling airplane mode, battery pull, and pulling and replacing the sim. This is frustrating to say the least.

I have BBDesktop 6 installed, the phone is connected via USB directly to the laptop, and all of the Media Sync options say:"You need to turn on mass storage mode from the connected BlackBerry device to use this feature."
I see no such configuration option on the phone.Also, in Windows file manager, the SD and USB drives appear as removable drives E: and F:, but they are unaccessible: "Please insert disk in drive.."
I have a Blackberry Torch 9800, in the past I have the Full service plan, that allowed everything, now I have downgraded to only e-mails. But now I can't even surf the web with the Wifi network or access to the APP World, is this for real all over the world or just my Carrier is blocking everything??

View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently changed my bb 9670 style cdma for a torch 9860 gsm and now with this new bb the bis service over the wifi is not working and is the same carrier just changed the device, also i have a unlimited data plan, but in some areas where im used to stay there is bad reception so i used to be connected by wifi for my bis services, is this a problem of the gsm or RIM, i called several times to costumer assistance but they said that new os7 dont support bis over wifi, and thats not true so what u recomend to me

When ever I try to login, I get this error message: Data Services Unavailable. All the time i try to login, I am active on wi-fi connection.

I have had a BB for about 18 months and just have regular email going to my BB. I just got a new 9700 and now decided it's time to get some better use from my device.I'm a company of one (just me). I have no friends who are in the phone/technology industry and need some help. Looking to get a BES hosting service so i can manage my emails between my BB and my Mac (running Mac OS 10.5.8).
I currently use Mac Mail, but do have Entourage 2008. My service provider is TELUS and my email/web hosting is currently with namespro.ca (who doesn't offer BES hosting).What do I need to do and any recommendations on BES Hosting Services?
We are with "talk mobile" in the UK, it basically took them 11 days to finally switch out BB services on the phone, and yes all fine , my daughter (her phone) was ecstatic, and it worked brilliant, first on my wifi, she was able to finally get BBM to work, went on facebook, so all brilliant for the weekend she stayed at my house. Now the problem, it simply will not work any BB services once when is not on a wifi system, the BB sign disappears, only the 3G sign is there, and it even shows in talk mobile settings on phone "not connected to bb email, or BB internet.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHad a Bold 9700 for around 5 months. Recently I've noticed that when using the internet, a majority of the time the page never loads, despite having full 3G signal and what not, just gets stuck on requesting and hangs.
Another thing is my BlackBerry service logo keeps disappearing randomly for anywhere between minutes and hours, meaning I get no BBM responses or anything. I get people who comment that BBM messages can take 20-30 minutes to be delivered to my phone and that. Most of the time, it takes for me to do something online to get these messages pushed through (they all then appear at once).
Three have had it in for repair, and to my disappointment swapped it over to a refurb handset with exactly the same problem. Apparently there's nothing wrong with my SIM card too.

Thats the social app, the automatic update of email also stopped working as well as ovi sync. When i try log on it takes a while then says connection failed. Try again later. The next screen asks for my password again which i actually Havent changed as i can still log on to the ovi website. The ovi store was previously working well but i thought it could be the problem so i uninstalled it to no avail. I tried a soft reset which deleted the mailboxes but didnt solve a thing. Now i Cant set up any mail boxes. It takes ages on the preparing for set up screen without moving forward. Ovi sync still not working, neither is social and now i Cant download ovi store. Seems like the link is failing. Everything else is working fine. Internet included. I'm avoiding a hard reset because I'm miles away from a computer for a back up.
