Had a Bold 9700 for around 5 months. Recently I've noticed that when using the internet, a majority of the time the page never loads, despite having full 3G signal and what not, just gets stuck on requesting and hangs.
Another thing is my BlackBerry service logo keeps disappearing randomly for anywhere between minutes and hours, meaning I get no BBM responses or anything. I get people who comment that BBM messages can take 20-30 minutes to be delivered to my phone and that. Most of the time, it takes for me to do something online to get these messages pushed through (they all then appear at once).
Three have had it in for repair, and to my disappointment swapped it over to a refurb handset with exactly the same problem. Apparently there's nothing wrong with my SIM card too.
I have been having issues with MSN Messenger on my Bold 9000. It keeps dropping sayig a few different things. These include "cannot connect to server" or "error connecting to server". Things like that. Is this an MSN issue or is it through the Blackberry network that there are connection issues.
I have a Bold 9900 and my carrier is Rogers. The phone is about 6 months old. I use wifi and don't have a data plan, but my wifi keeps dropping. It is notjust at my house, but anywhere I access a wifi signal. It will drop the signal, pick it up again and continue to drop it. I have tried doing a battery pull but that did not work. My wife's BB Curve is having no problems, nor is my Playbook.
I have a torch 9810. A white unlocked . Recently my phone started dropping calls whenever i made a call or received a call. The service drops to SOS and the call is suddenly lost.
Last few days (even before 4.4.4 update) my m8 data would drop on and off. Restarted and no use. Same. Cell signal is full bars but data would drop after being on for several minutes. It would drop for 2 minutes or so. Toggling data on and off or airplane mode is a temporary fix sometimes. Over the course of this post it has dropped 2x.
I recently purchased a new M8 and a few days ago the Bluetooth started dropping off. I would momentarily loose connection to my Pebble, a headset when using it or connection to my truck. At times I'm connected to my Pebble and truck at the same time and at other times I'm just connected to one device. I've done hard resets, re-paired my Bluetooth devices and still getting dropped connections. All my devices have the latest firmware.
I just got my HTC One a few hours ago (international version) and I am having issues with WiFi. Everything works fine until I lock the device. Upon waking my phone, WiFi connection is lost, reconnects, and then although the connection shows up on the status bar, the internet does not work.
Yesterday my sony xperia Z2(d6503 , just kept dropping wifi and my bluetooth connection to my smart band. I have tried reseting the phone but still not working. I am running android 4..4.4 , build number 23.0.1.A.0.167
i am seeing isnt the cellphone but a firmware bug, if you change your network type from gsm cdma lte auto, to gsm cdma or wdma then the problem goes away, no signal problems at all, its only when you use the lte there are issues,
My iPhone 4 keeps dropping signal every few seconds, then regaining it, then losing it again. I have to restore my phone to its factory setting which seems to work, but this is the second time is happened in as many months.
I have an iphone 3gs running on ios 5.1.1. Everytime I connect it to wifi it drops it within a minute. (almost like there is a drop timer) I need to use wifi everyday so this is a big problem for me.
My xperia x10 keeps dropping the signal very frequently. It happens mostly within 3-4 seconds of picking a call. On the notification bar, the signal goes from full to zero, it shows the no sim card symbol for a moment, and then the signal reappears. Another problem is when I call someone, the screen goes blue. I can't cut the call or see whats happening, though the call does go through. I factory reset the phone, and then restored it back again. The problem went away for a day, but has started again now.
I recently bought a BB curve 8520, set up the wireless connection successfully, through my home network, or so I thought. But now about 70% of the time the wireless icon is grey and not connecting to the network, I could be sitting about 5 feet from the router and the icon will appear as available, in black and white, then change to grey for no apparent reason.
My wifi keeps dropping in and out. All of the wireless security passwords are correct, but the WIFI tab on the phone keeps saying "scanning", connects and then disconnects. It even does it to unsecure wireless networks
I've got WiFi set up and it connects to network fine, but isn't dropping into to UMA at all.To be fair, it is brand new sim card and is network branded (round, colored fruity type) handset - so should support UMA.
I had an iphone 4 until July 2013 when I cahnged it to an iphone 5. The biggest regret of my life. Ever since I keep missing out on work as the phone keeps dropping calls. I had the phone replaced twice but to no avail.
This phone is rather new, about a month old, and the past week or so it has been dropping calls like crazy. What I mean by that is that people are able to make calls to me, but i never hear any ringtone or anything (yes, my volume is up to the highest) and it registers as a missed call. I got a friend to try and call me while I was in the same room as her to figure out what was happening. She would call me, one ring on her end wouldn't even go by and the call would be dropped. On my end I never get any proper call, just a missed call. Â
I've set up my E75 to use Spotify Mobile over wifi to synchronize music without going over the 3G-net costing lots. But it drops the connection constantly and it seems to coincide pretty much with the powersave functionality of the phone.
-Phone firmware is 201.12.01
-The connection is a WPA2-PSK to a Netgear WGR614
-I have tried various channles but the problem remains.
-I have tried changing to WPA-PSK and Unprotected, but to no good.
-Signalstrength of wireless connection reports around 70-80%.
-If there are no active traffic on connection it seems to stay online but when the traffic start the connection drops.
My Nokia 701 sometimes cant connect to a wifi network. It keeps dropping every instance that i try to connect to a known network. I have to restart the phone to solve it temporarily.
WiFi keep dropping off. Already sent to nokia care center 3 times. Came back still the same. Not only that , it wont auto connect to my house wi-fi. I have to manual connect . I have a android phone. It will find and connect my home wi-fi whenever i on it and it wont turn off by itself.
I have a jailbroken iPhone4, when i go to bed.. ill charge it, i turn my laptop off when i go to sleep unplug my iPhone which is now at 100%.. i wake up and my iPhone is on 75% or less.. wtf? I don't have winterboard installed.I have activator, bitesms, cyntact, emoji, five icon dock, iconclasm, fiveicondock, ifile, infinifolders, libdisplaystack, lib weather, make it mine, music controls, remove recents, retinawallpapers hd, sbsettings, snaptap, wifisync and 3g unrestrictor.
I am on 4.0.1, i tried to restore it using 4.0.1 firmware i downloaded and it says iPhone unable to restore due to firmware being for inappropriate build or something along those lines.I went for a day out the other week, got 5hrs 30 mins useage with music playback and some internet browsing on 3g, few txts and calls, that can't be right can it?
A while ago, i jailbroke iPhone 3G on 3.1.2 for the first few weeks it was working fine. Now it seems as my phone app is screwed up. I live in the country and my signal isn't the best. But it was never like this. This is what's happening -
-phone will drop all signal and drop the call when talking.
- i will call someone and it will sit forever and never ring for me, i call people and they can hear me for like 2 seconds then we cant hear each other.
- People sometimes can get threw to me when calling.
I've rebooted the phone, turned on/off 3G, and tryed the phone in diff. areas with no luck.I have these apps installed - Winterboard. Lockinfo. OpenSSH. Sbsettings. Categories. Cycorder. Five Icon dock. and a few others.
I'm a prepaid user situated in dbn. Got my 9780 in aug lastyear. In april bis signal keeps dropping repeatedly and takes forever to come back on. Customer care fixes it until I get an app update and the phone has to reboot, it goes haywire again. Startin to annoy me, as I'm txtn ryt nw the bis signal has dropped.
My colleague and I both have Bold 9900's, one on Vodaphone and the other T-Mobile. Both of seem to be experiencing similar problems with the signal reception at different times and places. Whilst at home I can have a great signal of 3 or 4 bars but without moving the phone it will suddenly fluctuate and more often than not it will drop to zero and give the SOS display. I can then wait varying amounts of time for the signal to pick up again. I have the same problem in my office and in other areas so I am sure it's not the signal. My colleague has very similar problems and sometimes the signal does not recover in adequate time to make a call or send a message so we have to remove the battery before the phone signal recovers. I have also tested my wifes Blackberry Curve alongside mine and it is fine.
hey i recently droped my bb down the toilet an left it to dry the next day i put my battery back in an it was working the about an hour later it turned its self off and wont turn back on
i have a blackberry curve 8520 and when i am at home it connects to my route but then it will drop the signal and then pick it up again and so on, it only seems to stay connected for about 2 mins at a time even if i am nearly sat on the route is my blackberry faulty?
I got the xperia z5 for Christmas and noticed that the WiFi was almost constantly dropping during use. I brought the phone back and got a replacement but it occurs with the new one too as it seems its a well known problem.
Basically, my wifi just drops during use and it requires me to turn wifi off and back on again so it will reconnect. I could easily do this 5 times within a couple of minutes, other times it will barely happen.
When I leave the phone sitting for a few minutes it drops from H+ to H meaning I can't access the internet on IE or receive Whatsapp messages. If I toggle flight mode on and off or restart the phone it works fine for maybe 10 minutes or so.
I have network selected manually, I have tried automatic selection, it makes no difference. I also have 3G set as the highest connection speed. I upgraded to WP8.1 last week but have had no issues until now.
My new Lumia 950xl keeps dropping my wifi connection. I have numerous devices on the same wifi network, including an iPad and none of them have the same issues.
