May 11, 2010Pretty weird...the past two weeks in areas where I normally have strng 3G reception vie been seeing more and more of the edge network...anyone else?

Galaxy S6 Edge :: WiFi Dropping In And Out?
Jun 5, 2015I've found my wifi connection at home to be dropping non-stop, and then immediately reconnecting. It's only happening on my S6 edge. Even though my wife's phone (and my laptop) stay connected, I reset the router. Nothing. I also cleared my cache. Smart Network Switch has been off to preserve battery life.
Would rather not factory reset, but will if that's my only option.

Feb 10, 2010Is anyone else having problems with dropped calls when switching from UMA to 3G? Where I work I do not have a signal in the building, so I keep my WIFI on so I can both make and receive phone calls while inside.
The problem occurs when I'm on the phone and step outside. I lose my connection with the router, and instead of switching from UMA to 3G, my call is dropped, and it takes my phone about 10 seconds to find the 3G signal.I was hopping that upgrading the .442 would solve the problem, but it has not

May 1, 2010Always maintained a very strong 3g signal, 5 bars always no matter where I was. The last 3 or 4 days my signal started dropping like crazy to EDGE - edge - to gps or whatever to no signal. Did everything to try and fix it. Called T-Mobile about the problem and they said no problem we are sending you a new 9700. I will have it Wednesday afternoon. I asked if it will be a new one or refurbished, she said a new one. You can't beat that with a stick. They have the best customer service out of all the carriers. Just wanted to tell my recent experience with my carrier.

May 27, 2012I have an iphone 3gs running on ios 5.1.1. Everytime I connect it to wifi it drops it within a minute. (almost like there is a drop timer) I need to use wifi everyday so this is a big problem for me.

Sep 4, 2014I had an iphone 4 until July 2013 when I cahnged it to an iphone 5. The biggest regret of my life. Ever since I keep missing out on work as the phone keeps dropping calls. I had the phone replaced twice but to no avail.

IPhone 5s Keeps Dropping Calls?
Jun 28, 2014This phone is rather new, about a month old, and the past week or so it has been dropping calls like crazy. What I mean by that is that people are able to make calls to me, but i never hear any ringtone or anything (yes, my volume is up to the highest) and it registers as a missed call. I got a friend to try and call me while I was in the same room as her to figure out what was happening. She would call me, one ring on her end wouldn't even go by and the call would be dropped. On my end I never get any proper call, just a missed call. Â

IPhone :: Dropping Calls After Jailbreak
Feb 13, 2010A while ago, i jailbroke iPhone 3G on 3.1.2 for the first few weeks it was working fine. Now it seems as my phone app is screwed up. I live in the country and my signal isn't the best. But it was never like this.This is what's happening -
-phone will drop all signal and drop the call when talking.
- i will call someone and it will sit forever and never ring for me, i call people and they can hear me for like 2 seconds then we cant hear each other.
- People sometimes can get threw to me when calling.
I've rebooted the phone, turned on/off 3G, and tryed the phone in diff. areas with no luck.I have these apps installed - Winterboard. Lockinfo. OpenSSH. Sbsettings. Categories. Cycorder. Five Icon dock. and a few others.

As you can see in Quicktime and Premiere the low light video's drop to 24fps, I guess to compensate.Still very impressive video from the camera, just thought it would be an interesting find.

Apr 7, 2012A few days ago I dropped my phone on the ground. Since then, my battery lasts no more than 2 hours tops. I suppose it would be a hardware issue, yeah? And regular Apple Care doesn't cover a drop, correct? (The glass is slightly cracked as well).

May 10, 2012I have the iphone 4 now 6 months, really love the phone apart from the dropped calls. I have these every single call I make or receive. I am with Tesco mobile which uses the o2 network, so reception is fantastic. I have done all the usual stuff like place a bumper around phone but made no difference. What I have noticed is the dropped calls seem to happen when the phone goes from 3g to 2g does anyone else have this problem?I am getting to the stage of changing to a different phone.

May 15, 2012I updated my iPhone 4s to the new iOS 5.1.1 Sunday morning and ever since then I am having problems. My network/ 3g keeps dropping out, everytime i go to use my phone, its says "seraching". Also my battery is not lasting very long at all. I turned it off & on, did a reset & still nothing. Also my wifi is playing up, at my parent's place it said i was unable to connect to their wifi, my partner who has a iPhone 4 & has not updated connected easily. At home, especially after i resetted I have to type in my wifi password everytime I want to use internet, it does not automatically connect like it did in the past.

May 21, 2012This has been happening since 5.0.1 and each update they put out. I've tried all the reccomended fixes on the forums, and other places online, disableing the location services doens't help, airplane mode doesn't even help, I have to reboot the phone each time it happens. No web data, no email, no iMessages... what gives? never had issues on a jailbroken 3gs, but tried to get the new "improved" version and keep it legit.

Jun 4, 2012i have had my iphone 4 for about 4 5 months as this was a replacement. but now i keep having this issue. i have had it for about a month. i connect to my internet and it works perfectly. surfing the web facebook all works. but soon as i go on to Internet and click on a video every 4 - 5 minutes the wifi signal drops and to get it back i have to ecit to the home screen and wait for a couple of seconds. then i go back onto the video and it happens again. this happens on alot of wifi connections not just my one what could be the issue?

Sep 7, 2014When I picked it up, the screen was lit but still black. Then I noticed the screen had popped out a little bit then I popped it into place. It still was lit and black but then turned completely off. I rushed home to put it on the charger. I heard it making the plug in sounds but the screen was still black! I even tried the "hold everything down for some seconds" methods and still nothing. It apparently was turning off and on but I still saw nothing.Â

Jun 17, 2014I have an old "Think Outside" keyboard that worked perfect with my iPhone 4S (for years). When I switched to iPhone 5, it keeps dropping the keyboard. When I turn the bluetooth off and back on, the keyboard comes right back, but I never had to do that on the iPhone 4.Â
Is this a new security feature to keep people from hacking the bluetooth? Can this feature can be turned off?

Dec 10, 2014I have myiphone 6 withios 8.1.1 connected to my 2013 Honda Pilot with Bluetooth. Everything works fine when I am listening to music with the native music app. However, when I make or receive a phone call thebluetooth drops in and out every couple of minutes. How do I stop it from dropping out? It makes usingbluetooth for a phone call useless. And why would it work for hours on end if it is only playing music but won't work for more than a minute on a phone call?

Both my iOS devices seem not able to lock on to my home wifi network (AirPorts), after a while they would drop out and on screen shows the 3G icon, I did not have this problem prior to 5.1 update.

IPhone :: Shows It's Charging But The Percentage Is Dropping?
May 9, 2012When I plug in my fiances iPhone it shows that it is charging, the green battery shows up, the battery icon on the top of the screen has a little plug in it just like it's charging but the battery level keeps dropping.
I have already restarted the phone, I performed a basic reset and I just finished wiping and reseting the phone to factory settings.
(btw, this problem started showing up last night and she updated her iPhone to 5.1.1 two days ago.)

May 15, 2012I picked up a new iPhone 4S on day of release here in the UK (32GB White if anyone's interested!) and it's generally been ok.
It's always had a problem of dropping telephone calls, especially when I'm in the car. Since the update to 5.1.1, it's got much worse.
After a little bit of investigation whilst in the car, it seems that the dropping of the calls is when the phone switches from 3G to Edge to GPRS to GSM and back again. Now, I've had every iPhone on the day of release since the original. This call dropping makes me look a right pillock when on the 'phone to a customer and the call drops out 5 times in as many minutes!
my Safari keeps crashing when I'm trying to post on forums. I don't know why/what is causing it, but this never happened on the 4 and before.
