i purchased a Unlocked BB it worked fine for the last 5 days now it just wont make calls or text and says there no service currently unavalible.I have googled it and there seems to be alot but no answers.I have done everything told its definatly not my contract i can still conect to the internet and use bbm.

I have activated my new sim card but when I put it in it says I am recieving Orange signal but I cannot make any calls/send any texts or set up my e-mail on there. View 1 Replies View Relatedi just got an Nokia N8 from a friend of mine, and i wanted to fully update it, but whenever i try to update it to Belle it gives an error saying "Nokia update suite service is unavailable", sometimes it reaches 119/124 mb, or 95/100 mb or 21/26 mb and then i get the error.and sometimes it reaches 124/124, 100/100, 26/26 mb but it then says "5000 minutes left to finish download" it stays at that point for about a minute and then i get the above mentioned error.if it matters the phone is from another country than my own.i searched all over the nokia discussions forum and i saw there were numerous similar posts, i did everything it was suggested there but it still hasnt worked.

I acquired an unlocked T-Mobile blackberry 9700 late last year and had our IT admin guy in NY adding new user license to the blackberry server and then the besadmin had generated activation password for me. I'm using local mobile phone network in Vietnam (Vinaphone) and had installed its service book into my BB. Nevertheless, after having put in my email address and keyed in the activation password, after pressing activate for about 2 minutes of "Acquiring service connection..." my BB keeps on telling me that "Activation request failed. A service connection is unavailable" although the communication receptions signals from my local mobile carrier is strong and I can browse internet and accessing gmail or yahoo mail using my BB (which mean internet connection is available).

I think BlackBerries are superb but . there are quite a few basic apps I had on my Bold, which show as 'unavailable for this device' in App World when I try and get them for my Torch 9810. A good example is the MobileMoney mobile banking app, and also the NatWest mobile banking app. When I tried to get the BB Feedback App, so I could request BB do something about it, the Feedback App itself was 'unavailable for this device' Is it just because the 9810 is such a new device and BB are working hard to get all the Apps available - or do they just not really care about Apps availability at all ?

When ever I try to login, I get this error message: Data Services Unavailable. All the time i try to login, I am active on wi-fi connection.
1. Is there a way to make wi-fi connection as primary/default internet access point and not data/3G services
2. How to make gtalk work on wifi connection without data/3g plan.
I got my torch 9800 on launch day. i loved this device and definately felt like i was upgrading from my old device (iphone 3g). as much as i love the capabilities of the device i have run into a few issues, specifically network issues. it all started on sunday when all of a sudden i lost connection to the blackberry servers(the little logo in the corner was gone..) i went to at&t on monday and they could not figure it out. apparently my service book for the blackberry internet service got deleted(i didnt even know what a servicebook was lol) so i went home later that night and downnloaded the at&t software and reinstalled the os and this worked. then all of a sudden today, my fb was acting up, so i deleted the app. then i lost the connection again... do you guys have any idea what could be causing this? im currently reinstalling the os as i write this.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought an BB Torch 9800 in USA, factory unlocked, from AT&T, and now i'm in Brazil with another carrier here.Everytime that I try to sync my BB protect with my BB ID, it shows 'Verifying Blackberry ID' and then, it returns 'The Blackberry ID service is unavaible' but when I tried to sync my BB App World with my Blackberry ID, it was ok.And another problem is, i've updated my Blackberry Core Systems with Blackberry Desktop Software, but everytime that I connect my blackberry with my PC, it shows that I need to update it again. They did turn it on but when I was connected I couldn't use my internet/Browser, which meant it was useless anyway! When I asked them to fix this I ended up being disconnected from the BIS again....but again they say I am connected. My service status confirms I'm not connected to the BIS. View 2 Replies View RelatedSo when i go on blackberry.orange.co.uk to register my blackberry so i can use the internet i click new account, enter BB Pin and IMEI numbers then click continue it says "Cannot create account, your device is not registered with your wireless service provider".
So on my BB i go to the Menu > Options > Device > Advanced System Settings > Host Routing Table > Menu button > Register new.
It then says "Registration message sent!" but nothing happens and i still can't create account?

I found that my service book has no entries either my host routing table, and when I try to register that host routing table it says that the message has send but nothing happens, I really don't know that to do. In my mind I think that I have to download all the service books again, but I don't know where I can find it. I also tried to register on that BlackBerry Internet Service in my country but I also didn't get results. By the way, the only application that works with the internet is Foursquare.
