Apr 8, 2012I recently got the 9360 and I synced my old 9300 to it so all contacts, emails, texts, etc., went across. Since I've starttd using my new phone no emails have come through and every time I went on email setup it keeps saying 'the email application is temporarily unavailable try again later'. So in the end I did a security wipe but did a back up before. After the security wipe I went to email setup and again it read the same unavailable message, I then went to back up my phone and I cant even do that now!

Been having this error on/off for a month now. Sometimes it works on wi-fi but not on cell, most of the times not at all.
Right now at home I can play from my other devices (win7-pc, chromecast, Nexus10) without problems. I can browse music fine on the phone and play moview works fine - so the account is not the problem.
All hits I've had searching gave just different settings to try with caching, dl'ing etc. They are to no avail. Tried all combinations.

I have activated my new sim card but when I put it in it says I am recieving Orange signal but I cannot make any calls/send any texts or set up my e-mail on there. Jan 7, 2010I acquired an unlocked T-Mobile blackberry 9700 late last year and had our IT admin guy in NY adding new user license to the blackberry server and then the besadmin had generated activation password for me. I'm using local mobile phone network in Vietnam (Vinaphone) and had installed its service book into my BB. Nevertheless, after having put in my email address and keyed in the activation password, after pressing activate for about 2 minutes of "Acquiring service connection..." my BB keeps on telling me that "Activation request failed. A service connection is unavailable" although the communication receptions signals from my local mobile carrier is strong and I can browse internet and accessing gmail or yahoo mail using my BB (which mean internet connection is available).

I think BlackBerries are superb but . there are quite a few basic apps I had on my Bold, which show as 'unavailable for this device' in App World when I try and get them for my Torch 9810. A good example is the MobileMoney mobile banking app, and also the NatWest mobile banking app. When I tried to get the BB Feedback App, so I could request BB do something about it, the Feedback App itself was 'unavailable for this device' Is it just because the 9810 is such a new device and BB are working hard to get all the Apps available - or do they just not really care about Apps availability at all ?

BB Torch 9800 :: Internet / Connection - Service Book For Blackberry Internet Service Got Deleted
Aug 18, 2010I got my torch 9800 on launch day. i loved this device and definately felt like i was upgrading from my old device (iphone 3g). as much as i love the capabilities of the device i have run into a few issues, specifically network issues. it all started on sunday when all of a sudden i lost connection to the blackberry servers(the little logo in the corner was gone..) i went to at&t on monday and they could not figure it out. apparently my service book for the blackberry internet service got deleted(i didnt even know what a servicebook was lol) so i went home later that night and downnloaded the at&t software and reinstalled the os and this worked. then all of a sudden today, my fb was acting up, so i deleted the app. then i lost the connection again... do you guys have any idea what could be causing this? im currently reinstalling the os as i write this.
