Im currently running 7.0 bundle 1465 on my 9810 and my device gives me excellent service. As soon as i updated to the new 7.1 version the response time became much slower. Like the device is freezing a bit. Is this normal and will the new OS run smooth again?
I have a 32GB iPhone 4 with about 2GB free and recently updated to iOS 5.1. It has become noticeably slower since updating it. There are some short delays with certain apps, some have become jerky and the Home button isn't as sensetive as it used to be. But the worst part is the camera and the photos app. The camera takes For to load before it's ready to take a picture, and switching to video takes even longer. I've waited up to a minute before either one is ready for use and sometimes have to wait 10 seconds between shots! Also the Photos app has become really buggy and will sometimes crash, especially if I try to edit a picture. This is not cool. I've tried turning the phone off and on. I've tried resetting it (Home+Power buttons). Next I'm ready to try throwing it in a bucket of water to see if that might work.
when ever i open any of the applications like messages, contacts, dail pad... it opes very slow and when i close tat it closes very slow i dont know wats the problem.. i updated ics 4.0 just 2 days ago.
I recently updated my N8 to ANNA. After that I'm facing lot of issues such as the battery lasts only less than 12 Hrs, problems with e-mails, slow response etc. How can I roll back my phones software to Symbian v3. I dont want to take my phone to any Nokia Care centres.
No matter what I am doing with the phone it runs slow.It even runs slow when just scrolling the home screen.( there is an icon that pops up showing loading ? )I have performed the reset by removing the batery while the devce is on.I have checked for update OS ...all is up to date.I have checked the cpu usage ....all it displayed was options 38% , available 62%.I also delete any txt message bbm message.
I am wandering if you guys could help me I fing my bb internet very slow and I also find that it sometime won't let me on some sits and I find my battery dosnt last very long
A couple of days ago my blackberry torch 9850 shut off randomly during the day and since then has been so slow that it takes(I timed it) 45 seconds to open an e-mail message. I've tried taking the battery out, I've reset it a few times and I'm working on reinstalling the operating system.
I've read a bunch of forums and most places say that I have to do an operating system reinstall every few months because THIS IS A FEATURE OF THIS PHONE? Is there a permanent fix for this or do I have to switch back to my android?
I have been using BB torch 9800 from last one year . From last 3 days i have been getting very slow speed of my cell & the battery is also discharging very fast. I had backed up my phone thru sofware 7 removed the videos/Snaps. Still there is no improvement in the speed. Also i have not installed any new theam/apps on my cell. whatever the theme was there at the time of purches i am running on the same. Even the empty space of memory is 4.00GB on memory card. Also how to update the basic files which comes with the phone at the time of purchase? As i do not know how to update that.
I am using blackberry for around 10 months now. Since laast 2 weeks, my BB is very slow. If i open google news using wifi, it takes ages to scroll the same page. If i open a new link, it opens second tab but complains that low memory. try closing some tabs. I do not understand this behaviour. Also, today I was listening songs on media player and wanted to change to another song andthe player complained that the player is busy!I think the RAM of the device is either not correct or some virus is executing in background.
Since i updated my os to 7.1, my handheld is getting too slow and also the charge is draining like anything. Not even works for half day. My device is just one year old.
My 9800 worked fine until I upgraded to the new version of bbm via bb apps. Now I see the "thinking clock" on my screen more than anything else, my battery is dead by mid morning and my device is extremely slow. How do I fix this?
Ok My phone seems to be working in slow motion, an irritating mini clock appears in the middle of the screen and everting freezes. Is it a processor problem?
My Torch runs slow most of the time especially when I am writing a text the words take at least 2 to 4 seconds to go on the screen. Also to change screen takes some time as well. Apps open slow as well. I have sufficient free internal memory not much apps just what I need to use, not much for games. What do you think may be going on with this unit. Also I try to connect to BB desktop to get updates if any and back up as frequent as possible, even battery pulls to get a clean restart.
Latlely the scroll ball (not sure of the proper name for it) doesn't work all the time and, the text has been very slow. I have rebooted the device by taking the battery out.
Tried everything, battery pull, turning the connection on and off. The router, too... I was trying to access the app world but then again my Blackberry id is not authenticated due to "network problems". However, the rest of the wifi devices here at home are working perfectly. Device says.. "..having trouble connecting to the Blackberry app world server."
My 9800 pick signal wifi in my home is slow..my modem wifi in 1st floor and I stay in bathroom 2nd floor..signal detect only 1 bar..its not strong pick.
i would like to know if there is a way to update apps all in the one go, because i hate having to update each app at once and having to reboot the handset everytime an app is updated...
Was checking my settings when I realized I need two updates choose the first one now when it was backing up my stuff it froze at 11% and wont move. tried taking battery out but just goes back to same screen?
I just updated BB6 and lost much valuable data on sever apps I use for tracking my medical informaiton. For a diabetic loosing my glucose records is dangerous. I use Glucose Tracker and now not only is the data gone but I must buy the pass code again. The same goes for tracking my weight and my blood pressure. If I had known I might lose that data I could have made provisions or not have updated the system.
I just updated my blackberry and I forgot to make a backup file of everything. So I lost everything memo and contacts. Is there any way I could get my information back?
