Whenever i go to download something, I always get a message asking if i should wait for a wifi connection before downloading...
Problem is, the phone is already connected to a wifi connection, so why is it asking me if i want to wait? Am i missing something? or is this normal?
I have a droid3 and every time I try to download anything it now ask me to do it over a wifi connection, this started 2 days ago. How do I make it start using the phone to download, and it doesn't matter the size of file.

Next, connecting Z3 with Wi-Fi sometimes took past a minute over till I opened Wi-Fi setting (where from there I can view Wi-Fi networks).
I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who have Xperia Z3 have the glitches mentioned above. Will Sony Mobile provides a more better system update than the current version 4.4.4 in near future?
I'm trying to download some podcasts, and I'm getting a notice that says "Your connection to the WiFi network is turned off", and the podcasts I'm downloading say "Pending". I've checked my connections and my mobile network and WiFi are both "on".

I was trying to access the app world but then again my Blackberry id is not authenticated due to "network problems". However, the rest of the wifi devices here at home are working perfectly. Device says.. "..having trouble connecting to the Blackberry app world server."
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe internet connection on my 1020 is extremely slow when WIFI is connected (every other device I own is fine and can easily clear 30 meg download, 5 meg up.) When I use search, the phone screen times out and shuts off before returning any results (times out after 1 minute). I have reset the phone this morning to start over but the problem remains. The speed is perfect using Data and WIFI off, but once WIFI is enabled, the internet comes to a near halt.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI'm having a really weird problem with my phone. The wifi connection is super slow on my Nexus6P, but on my macbook it is fine as it should be. I tested on two more phones, one iPhone and my OnePlus one, wifi works fine on both of them.
I tried restarting my phone and nothing, I did a factory reset on my phone and the same problem still happens.
When I did turned of my router for like 2 minutes and then turned it on again, the wifi connection on my nexus6p worked fine for some minutes and then got slower again.
Are there people experiencing problem with their wifi connection after updating their XMP to ICS? In my XMP, It always said that no connection even though I'm connected to the wireless connection (it was not stable unlike when I'm using GB).
View 1 Replies View RelatedDownloading emails from my pop3 account takes a very-and I mean very - long time. I've tried re-entering all the account details and it queries my password so I have even changed that but it's still extremely slow. Plus I can't send emails (I can from the .me account).

I have a 32GB iPhone 4 with about 2GB free and recently updated to iOS 5.1. It has become noticeably slower since updating it. There are some short delays with certain apps, some have become jerky and the Home button isn't as sensetive as it used to be. But the worst part is the camera and the photos app. The camera takes For to load before it's ready to take a picture, and switching to video takes even longer. I've waited up to a minute before either one is ready for use and sometimes have to wait 10 seconds between shots! Also the Photos app has become really buggy and will sometimes crash, especially if I try to edit a picture. This is not cool. I've tried turning the phone off and on. I've tried resetting it (Home+Power buttons). Next I'm ready to try throwing it in a bucket of water to see if that might work.

This is happening to me today, it's forced me to change my password once already as the error seems to be based around my ID... Can't really try it again as I don't want to have to change my password again tonight! It happens when trying to update and trying to install an app from scratch.

I did update to 5.1 this morning and the data speed for internet and app gets really slow. I can not use internet and apps like usual at all.
I called att customer service twice and they just said there is no problem. I reset my phone several times already and nothing get better.
Now i have 4G network sign next to the signal bar and is that because of my phone (4gs) doesn't work for 4g network?

Over the past few days I have been having issues updating and downloading apps. When I go to do either, the app or apps just sit there "waiting", sometimes for hours. Eventually they will download or I will just connect to the computer to update. This is happening on both 3G and wifi connections.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just added a new iPad to my itunes account and since then my text messaging has gone crazy! We have 2 iphones, 3 ipads and 2 ipods all on one itunes account. When I text my husband, the message sometimes goes to him, but also goes to my son's ipod and other son's ipad. I sometimes recieve texts from my husband's cell number and other times it shows up as my own cell number. Tonight I was texting my sister-in-law and our conversation came across on my husband's phone, and my sister in law said the text came through from an email address instead of my cell number. Please let me know how to fix this!

It's ongoing and no reason for it. Battery life is reduced drastically as it seems it can't find a connection.

I was downloading an app when a screen message told me to restart to continue installation. I pressed the Off button but now, despite pressing the start button, the phone will not come alive, although it was recently charged. There is just a black screen and the small red light flashes occasionally.

I have noticed recently that my Iphone 3GS only achieves speeds of about 6 Mbps when using the speedtest.net app to check. About 6 months ago I was achieving 12-14 Mbps. Also, my laptop (Though 802.11n) achieves 37 Mbps. I realise that my iphone 3GS only has b/g wifi technology, but surely it should be faster than it is, especially in relation to what it achieved before and also in relation to my laptop speeds?(I am running the latest OS)
