BB Torch :: Getting The Contracts Back After Updating?
Jun 6, 2012
I just updated my blackberry and I forgot to make a backup file of everything. So I lost everything memo and contacts. Is there any way I could get my information back?
Contracts won't show up. I open the Contracts application and tapping on a contract won't do anything, instead of showing me the details (like the number and etc)I already tried to do a Factory data reset and still same issue.
A few weeks ago I updated my iPhone 4 to the new 4.0.1 software. Since then, my phone has been doing something strange. In areas where I always had 4-5 bars with it, my old 3G, my current Blackberry Bold from work, and various other AT&T devices, it will often go from 4-5 bars down to 1 and then back up to 2-3. During this time, my Bold sitting right beside it will constantly stay at a full 5 bars. Now obviously the signal strength depiction is going to be lower after the update as that's what it's intention was. What's strange though is how it jumps around at certain times, will often show 1 bar where my Bold (which isn't the greatest at RF to begin) with stays at the full 5. If I force the phone to 2G only however, the issue seems to go away.
I've tried resetting the phone, network settings, different cases, all to no avail. Does anyone happen to have any insight on this? Is the phone defective, is there something else I can try? It's obviously extremely annoying because when the phone is showing 1 bar, I don't know whether or not there really is low signal strength, or if the phone is simply depicting it wrong.
I was able to update my Iphone and got all my apps. But when I did my husbands all his apps were gone off the phone, I searched itunes cannot find them.. He is so mad how can I get them back?
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5, want to know if I can get apps back
When I updated my IOS8 I thought I lost my photos, so I have restored my iPhone but after restoring I have discovered that I lost all my photos, how can get/ retrieve all the lost photos specially since I didn't do backup?
Im currently running 7.0 bundle 1465 on my 9810 and my device gives me excellent service. As soon as i updated to the new 7.1 version the response time became much slower. Like the device is freezing a bit. Is this normal and will the new OS run smooth again?
i would like to know if there is a way to update apps all in the one go, because i hate having to update each app at once and having to reboot the handset everytime an app is updated...
Was checking my settings when I realized I need two updates choose the first one now when it was backing up my stuff it froze at 11% and wont move. tried taking battery out but just goes back to same screen?
I just updated BB6 and lost much valuable data on sever apps I use for tracking my medical informaiton. For a diabetic loosing my glucose records is dangerous. I use Glucose Tracker and now not only is the data gone but I must buy the pass code again. The same goes for tracking my weight and my blood pressure. If I had known I might lose that data I could have made provisions or not have updated the system.
I was updating my Blackberry device software and after the update had finished was prompted to restart my system and the phone but my phone has since refused to come on. it keeps showing 'App Error 200' reset
The issue is that my blackberry is loading when the battery is removed and inserted again, but won't log in. After a while a white screen is displayed with the following message: App Error 200 and Reset just below it.When I select the reset option, the above mentioned process just repeats itself.
My Blackberry desktop application does not even recognise up my phone once it is plugged in again.
I just installed the latest os 6 version software for my torch 9800 but I dun have any languages except for the english installed with that I am a blogger and I can't spend a lot of time without writing
I recently updated my blackberry messenger and it stopped working. Then I removed it from the phone through the desktop application. Now whenever I try to install it, the blackberry app world says it is already installed.
Yesterday night, i updated my OS in my Torch 9800, it goes in 4 steps
1* backup 2* download 3* install 4* restore
During 4th step (restore), my PC has frozen, half my data is not restored... i miss more than 200 contacts (and other stuffs).Do you know where the BB Software does the backup and store the backup file ? There should be a way to get the backup files to restore at least my contacts but how ?
Every time I try to update my device software it backs up Ok and the gives me the following message: An error has occurred while downloading software for your device. Please verify your Internet connection or try again later, if the problem persists. I have an internet connection through my desktop. Does it need to connect through my Blackberry device or does my desktop connection suffice.
How long does it take on the average to update a Touch 9800 software. Mine seems to be taken too long, wonder if its still loading, its says connecting to device (This might take up to 30 minutes), but its been here for like 50 minutes now.
In process of downloading new updates to Torch 9800 it stopped with instructions to:unplug device,go to Control Panel .... Device Manager/USB Root Hub/allow computer to turn off device ...plug in device...It then repats the same process again and again with same instructions. I've turned everything else off on computer, but now BB is frozen and still no upgrade complete.
I am facing problem with application centre. I cannot update list. It gives me error - An error occurred while updating application list: ERROR 404. Also,in options> third party applications, I cannot see any application that I have installed.
I updated my Blackberry Torch 9800 to the latest Blackberry V6 Software last weekend. My phone died yesterday and much to my horror I find that I cannot use safe mode as when I hold the escape key down the phone reboots before it comes up. So I have no way of restoring the backup as the desktop software will not connect to the phone while it is rebooting.
