In the previous version of the desktop software I was able to configure which Outlook contact account I wanted to sync with my blackberry. I can't find that options anymore. Does it still exist?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having problems with outlook email.I have a prodigy.net account (outlook express) and an outlook email account.The prodigy account is fully synchronized with my PC, but the outlook account is not.An email sent to my outlook account is posted to both the PC and to the Torch Smartphone.The problem is on the reply, an email sent from the Smartphone is shown only on the Smartphone and a reply sent from the PC is seen on only on the PC and is not visible on the Smartphone.

Now when i go to Setup and E-mail accounts it only gives me the option of setting up Yahoo, Gmail, Windows Live, Other and create new adressIt used to ask me here whether i want to setup a Internet Account or Enterprise Account. So how do i setup a BES account now on my device?I did delete all the service books related to my BES account that was on the device as i thought that would've deleted the actual account but i didn't so i had to do the security wipe?

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor whatever reason I can't get the stock e-mail app to sync my G-mail account correctly, unless I use the manual sync. It shows every 15 minutes (not thrilled with that either) but still won't do it. I really like the stock e-mail app with the gesture swipe too and just the general look of it. How can the g-mail app continuously sync and not this one? Plus I don't want notifications coming up for both apps, it's pretty redundant.Data push is turned on for: my gmail accountFetch Schedule is every 15 minutes but it shows for "no accounts" can't find an option that connects my account.
View 4 Replies View RelatedNew here and a tad bit upset with my failure to synch the address book. I had it in originally, I used a 'skype out' product to export skype contacts to Outlook, then I usefully synced to Outlook, but had a bunch of repeated addresses. Found a solution to delete address book and to reimport from Outlook. Successfully deleted address book on BB. Tires to sync but now it fails to do so. I have reinstall 1, battery, 2, SIM card, 3 desktop program. The synch starts - to be certain- I even go so far as the option to approve the sync or snot. Then it begins to do the syncing and the countdown of addresses yet to by synced clicks downward, as it should, then there's a 'bink' sound, and then nothing, and I check my BB, and no addresses have moved over. I have tried SEVRAL TIMES even 'syncing all' I have arranged for the synch to be for the addresses only. I have arranged for it to be from the computer to the BB. Hopeless. Extremely frustrated.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just installed the newest OS for my Torch 9800 (6.0 Bundle 2647). I lost all of my passwords and email accounts. Just go to Setup, select Email Accounts and add all of my accounts back. When I go to Setup there are 2 envelope icons that say "Email Accounts" where there used to be only 1. When I click on either of them it takes me to the "Select the type of email account type:"
Here we have 2 options: Internet Mail Account or Enterprise Account. When I click on Internet Mail Account it takes me right back to Setup, so I select "Email Accounts" again, and then Internet Mail Account and again my phone goes right back to Setup. It just goes around and around in circles and never gives me the option of actually adding an email account. From setup to select type and right back to setup. I have taken the battery out to no avail.
I would like to set up email on my Torch 9800 but when I select email accounts in setup menu the next screen is enterprise activation and does not offer the regular internet email setup.

How do I configure Outlook Express on my PC? I am using my Verizon Blackberry Storm cell for my ISP. I need all the info, I'm not very computer literate, so forgive my dumb questions. I had my phone unlocked from my portuguese operator so i could use it in Peru. When i got here i boght a sim card from a peruvian operator and everything was fine for the 2 fisrt months and now i haven't received emails since the 9th april and i've already reseted the phone and nothing. The thing is when i go to set up an email account, happens two differente things: sometimes i only can choose the option create an email acount by an entreprise server....and i don't have that...so i go to the option creat an email account and nothing happens...it just stays there like i haven't pressed that option....and there are days that i can't even get in the option email accounts....
how is this possible? everything was going fine...there's no reason for this to be happening.. and my operator in peru says they can't do anything because it's a handicap from the cell phone..
I'm in Uruguay (South America), my sevice provider is Ancel. I work for Tata Consultancy Services, and I want to connect to im.tcs.com mail server. The problem is that apparently I can't get my APN settings to work properly. I've called my sevice provider many times but their plain answer is that they don't offer blackberry support, even though they should be able to help me configure APN. I've also called blackberry support from Tcs, and they say that I should talk to my service provider to configure my maiil account.

The BB proposed an update of this application and I accepted.As far as I remember, during the update process, I was proposed to replace the email app by a "setup_email..." app or a stuff like that.Now, I can't set up any email account because the terminal bugs when I try to open the email set up function.Then, the screen is blocked and I'm forced to shut down the terminal with the on/off button.I already tried to update the whole OS from 5 to 6.0.0.576 with BB Desktop Manager but the problem remains.For your information, and if it may help, I just see that the email setup application (6.11.0419.0755) is located after the games in the application list of the BB Desktop Manager.

I have the blackberry desktop manager v 7.1 and I haven't made it passed the "configure" button not being usable. What I'm going for here is sharing my outlook calendar with everyone that needs it on their phones, then syncing this specific calendar to be viewable via their blackberry- so that when I make changes or add jobs they are able to see them. I connected the blackberry to the desktop... I clicked organizer... I went to click configure..... It's a ghost button. How do I make this button interactive again??

How do I set up my iPhone to work with the e-mail address I set up through 000Webhost? All I can find on the 000webhost site regarding the issue is the following:To configure email client such as Outlook Express you need these details:

HOST NAME: (According to what I copied and pasted above, it seems that mx.000webhost.com is what should be placed in this space. But I can't get it to work for me, and it does not look like the "mail.example.com" that is usually used for other e-mail servers)
USER NAME:(I guess this is either my e-mail address or the user name I have for this account?)
PASSWORD:(I assume this is either my 000Webhost password or e-mail password?)
