I have a 9860 that froze on me & rebooted, once it got past the black blackberry loading screen, it goes white and says Error 205 Reload Software.. Its on a constant loop of rebooting and this screen. i tried following the instructions giving on [URL] however i cannot get my phone connected to the desktop manager.

I cannot sync my Outlook calendar when using BB desktop Manager. I get a error message pop up window saying "Intellisync" "Connector error" The the synchronization is cancelled.
I am on a personal contract and this is not connected through BB enterprise. My e-mail accounts are fine and I get these on my BB
i am using att branded unlocked 9810 on t mobile. recently i updated it to 9810jAllLang_PBr7.1.0_rel998_PL5.1.0.230_A7.1.0.284. it worked fine for a hour after that i uninstalled one of the app from my BlackBerry Desktop Software the phone restarted and since then it is stuck on att welcome screen i pressed the phone button and i can see my contacts even make and receive calls switch between 5 default application but the phone wont go home screen. also i am unable to connect to my desktop manager.

Desktop Manager Version: 5.0.0.11
Problem: When I connect Torch with PC and start Desktop Manager, DM asks password for BB. Once the password is punched, DM takes some time to connect i.e. a PC and BB is shown on Torch screen, trying to connect to each other AND then DICONNECTS.
Actions Already Taken: I have uninstalled and reinstalled DM. I have taken out battery and reboot BB. BUT problem persists.
I have this error code on start up. I read the other forums and have tried safe start up (by holding the back button) does not work, tried to erase the lastest 3rd party app via bb desk top but will not connect, and tried to download BBSAK but I cant seem to download the free app, the site is not letting me register. What can I try next? Can anyone email me the BBSAK app?

I've unistalled Destop Manager, reverted back to 5.0.0 and I still have the same issue. This was and is currently setup with my Outlook 2003 (SP3) exchange server to forward my work emails, and it worked up until I updated to 5.0.1 last week.
I am new to the community and would appreciate any assistance. I have two recent problems for which I am seeking troubleshooting advice. The priority problem is mentioned first below.I've just encountered this error message, "For help resolving this issue, refer to KB19454 in the BlackBerry Desktop Manager Knowledge Base" when attempting to sync my Curve 8320. I use a Mac, and I haven't run into any difficulties syncing since downloading the newer version of the Desktop Manager for Mac in Dec/Jan. I haven't been able to download the latest update though. I did see an early post by someone with the same difficulty, but I was unclear of the question posed, and thus I am hopeful for potential suggestions for resolution.The additional problem I've recently experienced is that I can't compose an SMS/MMS message. I can only reply to someone's message. When I try to simply send one, the screen defaults back to the list of messages. Please Note: I do not have wireless on my phone. I utilize Blackberry Desktop Manager Version 1.0.1 .Please also note that I am not able to access electronic messages daily but will attempt to return any responses/inquires as quickly as possible.

I generally sync it about once per day with Microsoft Outlook using the Desktop Manager through a USB connection.Today it would not sync!The PC recognized that I had plugged it in so I am assuming the USB cable is OK.The bar on top of the Desktop manager shows "Disconnected" and the bottom left corner of the Desktop Manager shows my connection as "none"If I try to sync it, a Device Connection box opens up asking for the PIN but does not allow me to type anything into the box.
I have rebooted both the Blackberry and PC a few times to see if this would solve my problem - did not work.
I have also tried other USB connections on my PC.
I have not loaded any new software onto the PC recently, my antivirus program is up to date.
I have read through the help files and cannot find anyway to get it to reconnect.
What do I have to do to get Connected? Do I have to reload the Desktop Manager software or ?
I've tried a clean uninstall and reinstall the Blackberry Desktop Software version 5.0 and keep getting this message Desktop Mgr exe: Application error - Instruction at "0x004e6535" referenced memory at "0x04480013". The memory could not be read.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was backing up my blackberry torch last night and the connection was disconnected during the backup. When the phone restarted the message "App Error 606" / "Reset" came up. I can't do anything on my phone except for reset it, and pulling the battery does nothing.When I try to connect it to blackberry desktop software it wont connect... I left it for an hour and it still just said that it was connecting.I also tried connecting to BBSAK and it couldn't connect there either, so I can't reset it to factory settings. I checked the desktop manager and it recognizes the USB port as connected to a blackberry device but that is about as close as I can get to connecting to anything.I have a backup of all of my information from before this happened so I don't mind completely resetting my phone, but I have no idea how to do this without being able to:
a) connect it to the computer
b) do anything except reset on the phone
I have a BB Bold 9000, and I can't seem to connect to BB Device Manager. It's recognized on my computer as mass storage mode, but it won't connect to Device Manager, and just says Connect your Blackberry device.

Next day I connected it back up to my PC to make some changes to my Calendar and after that the emails stopped.I had to get a new activation code and it was back online however the day after that after I connected again to Desktop Manager it stopped receiving emails again. Back receiving emails again after getting another activation code.Speaking to others in my company who have BB, they have said their contacts & calendar automatically update on the phone when they change it on their PC but it doesn't happen on mine.Any ideas to help me out? I do not know how to get Desktop Manager (6.0 Bundle 1165) to recognize Outlook. For some reason it does not recognise that I have already installed this ( btw I use windows vista with MS Office 2007). I've installed it, reinstalled it, and rebooted my computer so many times in the last 2 days that I'm shocked the power button is still working ont he computer. at least desktop manager 5 worked with my blackberry bold. I tried to email RIM and ask them about the issue, but after sifting through all the crap on their web page, I finally gave up.

The situation is the following: If I go to the PC Device Manager (from "My Computer") I get the Blackberry device recognized and working properly, this means that the PC is understanding that I connected a BB. But when I open the Desktop Software and the BB Device Manager there is no way they can see it.
I tried everything:
1) clean reinstallation of the software
2) Update of BB USB drivers
3) Different USB cables
4) Different USB ports
5) USB Drive/Sync Media/Charge Only modes
6) Full restart of the BB (alt-shift-del)
7) I followed many many many related topics
I need to connect my BB because i need to reset it to factory settings since the battery is lasting maximum 1/2 day (no background running apps, no long backlighting, everything seems to be ok)...
