BB Torch :: 9800 Keeps Getting Halfway Through Reboot In A Loop
Mar 1, 2012
My bb torch 9800 keeps getting halfway through a reboot & then it starts to reboot again. I've tried connecting it to my laptop but it can't. Recognise it because it's not on. So then I try to update it & it gets to module 255 and then stops...
My BB Torch 9800 is stuck in a reboot loop. I have tried reinstalling the OS using the AppLoader, tried simply hitting "Update" from my Desktop Manager, I have essentially tried everything I have found online about a "nuked or bricked BB". I have been working on this for days. The problem is that, because of the reboot loop, my phone will not stay connected to my computer long enough for anything to actually happen. I get the error message "Unable to maintain JVC connection" or something along the lines of "Your device is not connected, please reconnect, enter your password and continue".I have had this phone for a year and love it. I made an investment in a BB product and I expect it to last more than one year! If I need to take it in for service, so I simply return to the store where it was purchased?
I was doing a regular update of the BB apps yesterday late evening, as per the notifications received by the App World. However, the phone shutdown suddenly, and it tried to reboot. It has since failed to boot up, and keeps on shutting down, while trying to reboot. The progress bar always reaches approx. 95%+, and then it starts again. I have already done Battery pull etc., and connected it with a charger - but so far no luck with it. Connected it to the laptop as well - but it does not recognize it either. I have a backup from a couple of weeks ago, so I am wondering, how I can reset the device and restore to an earlier backup? This is a month old Torch 9800 device.
My Blackberry torch 9800 is stuck in a reboot loop tried all fixes nothing works, desk top manager wont fix, nor will a download of OS, sounds like a common problem
I tried to update the Blackberry Apps store as notified on phone. Now phone is stuck in a reboot loop.I have tried pulling battery and connecting to computer, pulling SD card and sim.
I downloaded an app last night and as soon as it installed my phone started to reboot.Since then it has just been on a reboot loop. The white line gets nearly to the end then a red light comes on and it starts all over again. I have tried a soft re-start: alt shift del a battery pull (loads of times!) I have tried to log on to blackberry desktop manager and resettle whole phone but it tries to connect to the phone every time! I am stuck at what else to do
I was downloading the Evernote app from the Appworld and as it was installing it started to reboot and now is in a reboot loop where it keeps rebooting non stop.
My Torch today decided to starup in a loop. Startup bar goes to the end and then starts over again, hence a loop. What can I do to fix this on my own? I've tried taking the battery out and that hasnt worked
My device/phone became unresponsive, so I took the battery our to do a full reset. Now the phone stays on a continuous loop trying to start. Blackberry Torch 9800.
I have tried soft reboot, double soft reboot, hard reboot (removal and replacement of battery for 10sec to 1hr). Due to the reboot can not connect to computer to assist. Removed the sim and memory card and attempted to reboot with no success.ttempt to reboot in safe-mode failed also. I can not shut down except to remove battery. I have tried being connected to the computer without the battery and then replacing the battery that did not work either. like this model it has all the features I need, I need to have it functional ASAP or I will will have to change the phone and the service provider. My company is not tolerant of companies that do not support their productsand provide service solutions in a timely manner. This problem started sometime around 7-3-2012 (this doesn't have anything to do with the 5000 Blackberry layoffs recently, does it?)
I recently downloaded the new BBM app, and the icon disappeared from my phone.I tried rebooting several times, and it finally appeared, but it wasn't called BBM, rather net_rim_something.When I clicked on it, it said "missing resource files" and wouldn't load.I also noticed that my BBM connected apps (Facebook, etc) were not loading properly. So I backed up my BBM contacts, and deleted and re-installed, but there was no icon again.I checked this forum, and found a similar problem, and the solution was to check if the software needed updating, which would fix the problem.I checked on my Torch, and it said there was an update available, so I downloaded it. It downloaded fine, and then asked if I wanted to install it, and gave a warning message that it might take 2 hours or more. This was fine with me, as I was going to bed soon, and wouldn't be using it.Before I went to bed, I noticed that it was rebooting.I figured I would just leave it and go to bed. When I got up this morning, I noticed it was still rebooting. The white bar would go all the way across, then it would go to a white screen, go black again, and then start over.I checked the forums again, and found a similar issue, which said to pull the battery and replace it. Did so, and it didn't work.I have tried several times, and even left the battery out for 2 hours, in the vain hope this might work.I tried connecting to BlackBerry Desktop to do a restore, but it can't connect to the phone, because it is stuck in reboot.
When i take my battery out and put it back in the phone starts rebooting and then quits and a picture of a battery with an X through it appears on the screen???
Out of no where, I noticed that my phone rebooted itself without me initiating a reboot. The progress bar makes it around 60% or so then the screen goes dark and starts the reboot process all over again. I might add, the phone was working fine all day today inside of my home with no water damaging environment
I installed and app called Dropbox, and it said it was installed, but the screen was frozen so I couldn't choose OK or Run, so after about half an hour I pulled the battery. Now it is hung up during the boot, with the progress bar about under the Y in Blackberry.
I flash android 4.4 rom but haven't got into s-off,so I sucked in reboot loop and can't get into recovery. I tried boot boot.img at first my phone still in reboot loop and after a few times after boot boot.img I cant even selet item by volumn up or down in fastboot (the boot.img was selected from the rom :One_4.06.1540.2_odexed.zip which is the rom I trid to install )...
My iPhone is stuck in a guess what is just a reboot loop. It gets stuck on the apple logo for maybe 5 minutes then it goes to the spinning wheel for another 5 minutes ( wheel doesn't spin just stuck ) then goes back to the apple logo again. I've tried holding both the home and power button to reset it but all that does it restart the process. I've put in DFU mode to restore but my computer and a friends computer both won't recognize it ( also tried to cables ) so I can't restore it. I have a Nokia N96 with the latest version of software (which has been operating ok for now - and I think that the N96 has Symbian OS 2.3 or something?)
I installed a program on my phone and it warned that my memory was low --> "Memory low. Delete or move some data from c: Phone memory" so I uninstalled a 2mb theme.
I then installed a little divx player which I thought wouldn't be much but then I turned off my phone and on (the other program said that I had to reboot my phone) and then my phone would start up and it would start loading up but it would immediately display the "Memory low. Delete or move some data from c: Phone memory" error (while it was trying to autoload everything that autoloads on the phone).
When this error message comes up the only option is "Ok" but the OK button is non-responsive (we all know that these phones take a while to load up) and within a couple seconds (you can't push a button and get a single response out of the phone to even try sort the problem out) the phone switches off and then switches back on with the same error without being able to do anything about it - perpetual loop!
Because it is in this perpetual loop I tried pluggin in my cable to delete data off C: (anything I could possibly get to in time) but it doesn't pick it up in time!
So, I am stuck in this "Low memory loop" without being able to get out of it. I desperately need my phone, I was thinking there would be a soft-on startup (e.g. hold x and y buttons for example and switch on and it doesn't load up some autoload stuff?) but I couldn't find one after *extensive* googling and forum-browsing.
So earlier I was deleting some lock screen application and my blackberry was rebooting but then it got stuck on the reboot screen. So it reboots fully and then starts again. I've tried to connect it to the desktop manager and that didn't work so I took the battery out and tried the apploader but the app I wanted to delete was already gone but it kept rebooting.
Connected my S5 to charger and left the room, started hearing the Cricket Wireless theme a few minutes later, then again, then again. That was when I discovered I was caught in a reboot loop.
Phone model - Samsung-SM-G900AZ Firmware version - G900AZTUU3BOG3 Carrier - Cricket Wireless
I've gone through most of the posts here regarding this and have at this point: replace battery with spare (no change) Recovery Mode - clear cache (no change) Recovery mode - reset to factory, restore from Google backups (no change) Recovery Mode - reset to factory, setup as new device (no change) Disable Wifi - (no change) Odin + reflash (no change) Disable wifi (no change) Disable wifi and LTE data - (no change)
I'm not really sure what to do at this point and am starting to wonder if this is a hardware issue, not software. This phone has never been rooted, and in fact is just under a month old (my previous, never had an issue with it S5 died a horrible death at 25mph from the hood of my car) so didn't even have all of the apps I normally use installed.
I have a HTC Desire and it has started to shut down and going into a reboot loop when using the internet for long period or if I use the navigation app for 10/20 mins. It also seems to heat up and this is when it shuts down.
I have read many ways to fix this problem but I can not find away to fix it using a Mac? I don't Have a PC so I am lost. My phone just stays on reboot loop
Just purchased a used Curve 8530. Previous owner could not remember the password so after going through the process of too many tries and a wipe of the system, the phone now will not boot up. Get an hour glass and then a quick screen flash before it starts the same routine. When I try to connect to Desktop Manager it keeps connecting and dropping so I am unable to reload software.
Xperia x8 is stuck in reboot loop i know this is because of full phone memory but is there a way to backup everything from phone memory (notes,bookmarks,apps....) i want to backup apps from my phone because most apps that i have installed are deleted from google play.
So I was doing the Andriod 5.0 Lollipop update, and I thought it froze, so I rebooted my phone, it started the update again, and then went into a screen with the phone on it with a red triangle which I now learned is recovery mode, I have tried everything, I factory reset (erased all user data) And everything like that, and it still comes back to this screen, can I get off of it?
My battery ran out so I plugged my 1020 into a charger and it started turning on then showing the no battery icon then off then on again and now that I connected it to my pc all it does is show the nokia then turn off then show the nokia again. I somehow managed to turn it on but everything was laggy and slow so I turned it off again and back to square one...
Today I noticed my Defy screen was black, and it wasn't responding to power button presses, so I took the battery out and rebooted it. A few hours later it was black screen again, and I tried the same proceedure but watched it. Maybe 10 seconds after it finished booting, it rebooted and then gets stuck in a sequence of showing motorola logo and rebooting over and over. I've tried removing the battery again and it will boot once, then immediately reboot and get stuck in loop again.I have tried the following and the same result every time:boot w/o simboot w/o sdboot w/o sd or simboot with better signalI cannot do factory data reset as I do not have enough time before first reboot to get to it. Attempting to start any app before the first reboot just returns to the menu screen.
I attempted to do 'hard reset' as per these instructions: ttp://www.knowyourcell.com/motorola/motorola-defy/defy-uides/595986/how_to_hard_reset_the_motorola_defy.htmlHowever after motorola screen I get a warning icon with a droid similar to this image but without the menu. Attempting to tap anypart of the screen or press any button did not change this screen:ttp://farm5.static.flickr.com/4132/5194579958_880780d9e4.jpgThe phone has been running mostly okay for the 6 months or so that I have owned it. I say mostly because I upgraded to Froyo 2 months ago, and it was behaving badly (lagging badly) until factory data reset a month ago.
Well as i said i have a curve 9380 which for the last 2 days has been in a reboot loop. The only was that it stops is if i turn mobile network off, once back on and a network is found it tries to connect and reboots. I've reloaded the os including a wipe and factory restore with bbsak. But nothing works.
