View 1 RepliesI am using a BlackBerry Bold 9780, with OS 6 bundle 2647. I am facing a problem that after sometime it gets restart. Sometimes it restarts and then back to normal but mostly it stucks in a restart loop (Red LED turns on as indication that phone is powering On. But it doesn't turn on and the process continues and LED keeps blinking). I tried to update OS version by using Desktop Manager Software, but still facing the same problem. And now i got no more updates for OS.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Bold 9780. When I click on any of my bookmarks or type in any web address, the loading bar at the bottom of the page goes inch by inch and says "Requesting...." Then when it gets all the way to the end, it just stays there still reading "Requesting..." And the page is blank. I've tried restarting my phone, pulling out the battery and nothing works. The only web address that seems to work is my bookmark to Google Translate. IDK why that one, but it works... I miss my internet!

View 12 Replies View RelatedI tried plugging it into a wall charger for a day, i tried leaving it unplugged for a day, i tried leaving it plugged into the wall without the battery in for a day. I do not think it is the battery or charging related. Oh, and i have 2 batteries, neither let it boot.
So, i tried all the suggestions about App loader. The PIN is not recognized UNLESS, i plug it in without a battery (after i see the charging icon with red X on the screen). If i try to continue, nothing happens until i put in the battery, which immediately removes my PIN to PIN Unknown or whatever. So, it will continue and loader will freeze at step 2, device initialization.
Anyone had this exact issue or know how to get passed this point?
For reference, i never dropped it or damaged it. Actually i haven;t been using this phone, i decided to update it, all went well. Took the battery out and left it for a couple weeks. Went back to use it and this is what i got. Oh, and I tried JL_CMNDR and nothing happens.
Like i said, no error screen, i get a red LED, it attempts to boot up, but it barely moves and then I get black screen and red LED again and it just loops this process.
* I do have the extra ATT Insurance. However, I've had it for 1.5 years and it has been externally modded to ****. I could easily change it back to stock parts, but the "sticker" is gone. 1. Would ATT let me exchange it? 2. Does it have all my info on it?
Basically I plugged my phone in to my computer yesterday to charge it up, did no updates or download anything new, it is exactly the same software wise as it was before the problem started. It suddenly has started switching off automatically and then switching back on but its not in a continuous loop. It happens frequently but I sometimes can use my phone for a few minutes before it will start doing this again. I have a small feeling I know this is going to sound completely stupid but I have a small feeling it may have something to do with the signal. At university my signal constantly switches between having some and no signal and when I have no signal it seems to keep restarting and resetting it self till I have signal.Sometimes it resets when I do have signal but the majority of the time it resets it doesn't have signal. This is going to be the next stupid part, I went home today and I had full signal all day and this problem didn't happen once but soon as I got back to university the problem has started again.

Now when i start it, it will reboot to about 10% and than start to reboot again, and again. It's stuck in a cycle of reboots. I tried connecting my blackberry whit my pc but the pc couldn't find the blackberry. I had a brand new battery laying around so I put that in but it did nothing.

My iPhone is stuck in a guess what is just a reboot loop. It gets stuck on the apple logo for maybe 5 minutes then it goes to the spinning wheel for another 5 minutes ( wheel doesn't spin just stuck ) then goes back to the apple logo again. I've tried holding both the home and power button to reset it but all that does it restart the process. I've put in DFU mode to restore but my computer and a friends computer both won't recognize it ( also tried to cables ) so I can't restore it. I have a Nokia N96 with the latest version of software (which has been operating ok for now - and I think that the N96 has Symbian OS 2.3 or something?)
I installed a program on my phone and it warned that my memory was low --> "Memory low. Delete or move some data from c: Phone memory" so I uninstalled a 2mb theme.
I then installed a little divx player which I thought wouldn't be much but then I turned off my phone and on (the other program said that I had to reboot my phone) and then my phone would start up and it would start loading up but it would immediately display the "Memory low. Delete or move some data from c: Phone memory" error (while it was trying to autoload everything that autoloads on the phone).
When this error message comes up the only option is "Ok" but the OK button is non-responsive (we all know that these phones take a while to load up) and within a couple seconds (you can't push a button and get a single response out of the phone to even try sort the problem out) the phone switches off and then switches back on with the same error without being able to do anything about it - perpetual loop!
Because it is in this perpetual loop I tried pluggin in my cable to delete data off C: (anything I could possibly get to in time) but it doesn't pick it up in time!
So, I am stuck in this "Low memory loop" without being able to get out of it. I desperately need my phone, I was thinking there would be a soft-on startup (e.g. hold x and y buttons for example and switch on and it doesn't load up some autoload stuff?) but I couldn't find one after *extensive* googling and forum-browsing.
So earlier I was deleting some lock screen application and my blackberry was rebooting but then it got stuck on the reboot screen. So it reboots fully and then starts again. I've tried to connect it to the desktop manager and that didn't work so I took the battery out and tried the apploader but the app I wanted to delete was already gone but it kept rebooting.

The white line gets nearly to the end then a red light comes on and it starts all over again. I have tried a soft re-start: alt shift del a battery pull (loads of times!) I have tried to log on to blackberry desktop manager and resettle whole phone but it tries to connect to the phone every time! I am stuck at what else to do

View 7 Replies View RelatedConnected my S5 to charger and left the room, started hearing the Cricket Wireless theme a few minutes later, then again, then again. That was when I discovered I was caught in a reboot loop.
Phone model - Samsung-SM-G900AZ
Firmware version - G900AZTUU3BOG3
Carrier - Cricket Wireless
I've gone through most of the posts here regarding this and have at this point:
replace battery with spare (no change)
Recovery Mode - clear cache (no change)
Recovery mode - reset to factory, restore from Google backups (no change)
Recovery Mode - reset to factory, setup as new device (no change)
Disable Wifi - (no change)
Odin + reflash (no change)
Disable wifi (no change)
Disable wifi and LTE data - (no change)
I'm not really sure what to do at this point and am starting to wonder if this is a hardware issue, not software. This phone has never been rooted, and in fact is just under a month old (my previous, never had an issue with it S5 died a horrible death at 25mph from the hood of my car) so didn't even have all of the apps I normally use installed.
I was downloading the Evernote app from the Appworld and as it was installing it started to reboot and now is in a reboot loop where it keeps rebooting non stop.

Previous owner could not remember the password so after going through the process of too many tries and a wipe of the system, the phone now will not boot up. View 2 Replies View RelatedMy BB Torch 9800 is stuck in a reboot loop. I have tried reinstalling the OS using the AppLoader, tried simply hitting "Update" from my Desktop Manager, I have essentially tried everything I have found online about a "nuked or bricked BB". I have been working on this for days. The problem is that, because of the reboot loop, my phone will not stay connected to my computer long enough for anything to actually happen. I get the error message "Unable to maintain JVC connection" or something along the lines of "Your device is not connected, please reconnect, enter your password and continue".I have had this phone for a year and love it. I made an investment in a BB product and I expect it to last more than one year! If I need to take it in for service, so I simply return to the store where it was purchased?

View 8 Replies View RelatedToday I noticed my Defy screen was black, and it wasn't responding to power button presses, so I took the battery out and rebooted it. A few hours later it was black screen again, and I tried the same proceedure but watched it. Maybe 10 seconds after it finished booting, it rebooted and then gets stuck in a sequence of showing motorola logo and rebooting over and over. I've tried removing the battery again and it will boot once, then immediately reboot and get stuck in loop again.I have tried the following and the same result every time:boot w/o simboot w/o sdboot w/o sd or simboot with better signalI cannot do factory data reset as I do not have enough time before first reboot to get to it. Attempting to start any app before the first reboot just returns to the menu screen.
I attempted to do 'hard reset' as per these instructions: ttp://www.knowyourcell.com/motorola/motorola-defy/defy-uides/595986/how_to_hard_reset_the_motorola_defy.htmlHowever after motorola screen I get a warning icon with a droid similar to this image but without the menu. Attempting to tap anypart of the screen or press any button did not change this screen:ttp://farm5.static.flickr.com/4132/5194579958_880780d9e4.jpgThe phone has been running mostly okay for the 6 months or so that I have owned it. I say mostly because I upgraded to Froyo 2 months ago, and it was behaving badly (lagging badly) until factory data reset a month ago.
Well as i said i have a curve 9380 which for the last 2 days has been in a reboot loop. The only was that it stops is if i turn mobile network off, once back on and a network is found it tries to connect and reboots. I've reloaded the os including a wipe and factory restore with bbsak. But nothing works.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased a used Backflip and almost immediately started having the re-boot issue, which I since have learned is very well documented. Next time I'll research the forums b4 buying! My Backflip would spontaneously re-boot and then get caught in a constant cycle by rebooting less than 1 minute after my home screen (finally) appears. It never seemed to be triggered by any specific action, such as pressing the infamous "J" key, or using the camera, as others have stated.Through my research I determined the first thing to do was a reset to factory settings. That took time, but didn't solve anything. Then I went down the loose battery/business card shim route. I have 3 BN80 batteries. None of them solved the problem, nor did any of the various business card shim configurations I tried. All of my BN80 batteries are rated 1380 mAh/5.1 Wh. One poster claims that there are 2 different versions of that battery and the correct one is rated 1320 mAh/4.2 Wh. So I tried my BN70 from my Moto Karma (1140 mAh/4.2 Wh).
I also have 2 SD cards and it re-booted with either of them, and with neither of them.So I mumbled something unrepeatable, and gave-up. :-( I pulled my sim card and stuck it back into my Q1 Karma. Then I thought...could it be? So I re-tried the Backflip and viola! No problems. It's solid as a rock. I can browse the web via wi-fi and use all of the features. I can open it, shut it, use the camera, push any key (hard), including those on the battery side of the keyboard (even with the thinner profile BN70 battery) and I can't get the thing to re-boot! That is until I insert a SIM card. The very same SIM card which works just fine in my other Moto phone.
My phone has been stuck in reboot loop for the last 2 days. I had powered it off on the plane and when i turn on...it keeps rebooting itself after the "Rethink Possible" screen ends. I let the battery drain and still after charging it keeps on rebooting. I am running the phone on "Safe Mode" and only able to run basic Android apps like Gmail, Phone, Gtalk, Camera, etc. All 3rd party apps in Safe mode do not work.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my Photon for two weeks now and love it, but I've noticed it tend to randomly reboot itself after being removed from a car charger. Now the phone boots until it gets into the android operating system, then resets itself. This makes me VERY nervous for two reasons. I don't want to be stuk with a hone that reboots constantly, and more importantly, I sell them and don't want to have to tell everyone I've sold to that I've made a mistake. Is there a fix for this other than a hard reset?
