Every time I flip open my phone, it takes anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds to respond. The clock will still be showing the time from when I last used it. Took the phone to Sprint and they fixed it for a couple weeks, but they said if it starts happening again I would have to deal with Blackberry.

I need to have a Sprint BB Style 9670 unlocked to use on Canadian CDMA networks. It doesn't have a SIM card. Anyone have this problem or can point me to the proper way to unlock it? I chatted with Sprint but they don't want to do anything.

I tried restarting it but it 'didn't work, it wont connect to the PC companion either so I cant run any updates. It still charges but wont connect to anything, I cant even access the settings because it locks as soon as I try to access it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAlmost every day my phone is very slow to respond, hangs (like Windows XP used to do), the screen won't stay on long enough for me to swipe my security pattern, etc. It's very aggravating and had been for the last two phones (HTC DNA, Samsung S6 Edge) and in very close to jumping ship to either Apple or Microsoft (ugh, I shudder at the thought).
What can I do to find out what is affecting my phone or is this something I can expect from an Android phone on the Verizon network?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen i lock the phone with the slider on the right side, the screen used to go black (or any screensaver would go on, if activated).Suddenly, when locking the phone, nothing happens. the screen dimms a little bit, but it's still on. It doenst matter weather i activate any kind of screensaver, the display always stays on (the keys are locked, i also see the locked sign in the menu bar). When i restart the phone, nothing changes.Only when I take out the battery for a while, the screen saver comes back up again. Everything seems to be working fine, until the next restart. Then the same problem happens again.
Is this a known bug (couldn't find anything on goole)? Am I doing anything wrong? It's driving me really crazy to see my Display on all the time (I also don't want to take out the battery after every restart).I also have to say that this happens to me on FP1 and FP2, even on a 2nd phone.
when I unlock my phone I have to press the * key and the green cann button, I was wondering if there's a way to change it so I can press the mute button ontop of my phone to lock and unlock it, I know it sounds weird but I'm used to doing it that way on my old phones.

So when I lock my phone, the screen SHOULD lock too, but it still clicks when I touch it which is bad because I have actually called people while it is in my pocket hitting my leg. Is there a reason for the screen not locking?

This allows me to keep it from locking while in the car or at home and then when disconnected it goes into the lock mode based on time frame selected as in when leaving the car and no longer connected to the bluetooth.
Having to enter the PIN every time I want to access the phone at home ( after time out ) is a pain. I would assume the app would be able to "disable" the lock timeout function when connected to specified wifi or bluetooth connections.
I purchased my N97 about a year ago and I absolutely adore it. I haven't run into any problems until last week. When I turn on my phone, enter the unlock code and use it to do whatever I need to do, it works fine. However, if I lock the phone or let the backlight shut off, it won't turn back on and neither do the lights on the number keys. Here is the funny part: If I press the power key (as if I were to change my profile) the backlight turns on, allowing me to see the screen, but the number keys don't light up! Does anyone know what I can do?
I'm not very tech savvy (so please don't laugh if my solutions are completely wrong), but here are some of the things I have done to try and rectify the problem:
- Let the battery drain completely and charged it in the hopes that it would rectify itself like it has in the past with other issues
- Took out the battery, SIM card and memory card just to make sure everything was inserted properly
- Restored the phone to factory settings
