Following recent update to 5.0.0.1015, the clock does not display when device is plugged into a charger. I check the clock settings and "when charging" is set to "display clock."
View 3 RepliesI recieved new Storm 9550 replacement. OS 5.0.0. Clock will not display when charging. Box is checked in settings. Clock will display when connected to desktop computer. I have changed setting and rebooted several times, but it will still not display.

Right now it does not go to bedside mode when you put it in the cradle and even when you manually put it in it locks and does not show clock. I am on an enterprise server and our company requires a password lock. Any suggestions on how to work around this?

On the display I a large icon showing my battery life and signal, my network providor name, a really large time display and a slightly smaller date. I have tried to look under the date and time settings, but there is no option for hiding it. It's really annoying but I've no idea how to make it go away.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo about a week ago, I docked my iPhone 4S into my Sony ICF-C7iP clock radio as I do every evening before going to bed. I bought this clock radio back in August and have had no problems with it at all. However this time, I noticed my phone was not charging. It didn't make the charging beep nor did it show on the display that it was charging. I tried removing it & re-seating it...nothing. I tried rebooting my phone which resulted in the same problem. When I plug my iPhone into either a standard sync cable or an iPhone dock, it charges/syncs as normal.
Suspecting the problem was with the alarm clock, I contacted Sony support. The clueless support rep on the other line suggested I return the clock in exchange for a refurbished one. For a $60 clock, this was more trouble than it was worth, so I decided against it.
I then decided to purchase an iHome iA9 which was sure to work. I just unpacked it and set it up. When I docked the iPhone on it...you guessed it...nothing. It is still not charging. The funny thing is that the iPhone will play music through the iHome with no problems. I had also tried plugging the iHome into a different outlet with no luck either. I am out of ideas. I am left to assume that for some reason, my phone does no longer like charging when docked on to an alarm clock.
how I can get this to work again? I recently upgraded to iOS 5.1 and honestly don't know if that would have anything to do with it. But the likelihood of 2 completely different clock radios exhibiting the same problem is virtually non-existent.
As mentioned, I tried rebooting the phone with no luck. Docking the phone to a standard charging cable plugged into the wall charges the phone fine. Docking the phone on an iPhone compatable dock charges the phone fine. Is the problem with my phone?
I have purchated a Nokia 5130 but i have this problem.When the phone is standby (without use for a little time) the screen appears black and dont show the clock, message alerts, etc. When i press the main key (at center) before the phone show me the unblock option i see for a second the block icon, clock and message alert, what i need to do to see this info at all time.

I did put large on the font under setup, but still find it very small throughout. Any ideas how to customize or override this?

The reason I ask is that I have a wallpaper/screensaver with a mostly white background and as the clock is also white and only has a thin black outline it is almost impossible to read.My wife also has a white background on her W595 but the clock is black which makes it easy to read.
Noticed that the clock will sometimes be slow by as much as a few minutes - only in ambient display.

I just recently got the bb bold 9000 but somehow its seems like almost every function I perform, the clock icon appears in the center and the phone goes all slow. I've got a 1gb memory card and I only used less than 50mb + my app memory I got a lot of free space. Can anyone advise me please?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo lately, I've been having trouble with my storm running very slow. It does the "loading" graphic, or the spinning clock, or whatever it's called ALL the time. I pop my battery all the time and it doesn't seem to help. And the Storm will do this even when I have barely anything open. For example, at the moment, if I press the menu key, the only programs I have are my browser, BBM, the home icon, message icon and phone icon. That's it. But every time I pick my phone up to do something, I get the loading thing. I tried clearing my browser cache, but that didn't help. I also deleted a bunch of saved y!m message logs and deleted some pics, but still no go. It never used to be this slow, I have Verizon Wireless, and I'm running on V4.7.0.148.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've tried the S6 on the Google and Nokia wireless charging pads and the screen illuminates every few seconds. This is especially annoying at night. I don't have the option to keep awake while charging selected and this doesn't happen with the plug-in charger.
Am I doing something wrong? Is this normal? I also own a Nexus 6 and I don't have that issue with either charging pad.
Ok, I set my Photon in the webtop dock, but just to charge on my desk, not using the webtop program. It used to display a choice of "Widget Clock" or Webtop, and it no longer does. Maybe I clicked the don't ask again box last time? I do not remember, it's been a few weeks since I used the dock. Anyway I am SURE this is a simple setting somewhere, but I cannot, for the life of me, find it to turn the selection screen back on. I cleared the cache and settings, still no selection screen.

The phone seems unlocked as everything else is working like the internet, outgoing calls, messenger, emails etc. But I noticed it today that the call display isnt working. I checked with my service provider they said that i have call display and it should work but they didnt knew anything about this phone so could not help (as the phone is not from the provider). So when some one calls i can only see unknown number calling (No name or number display). I dont know if its a network problem (which i think its not because they say its on and should be working) or something needs to be changed in the handset.

The new app will only display in portrait, which limits me to using a tin keyboard (not why I went with a Storm). It also will only scroll in reverse and the touch screen is very uncooperative. No other apps are this horrible. Why can't the app display in landscape as the old one did, giving me the full keyboard and NORMAL scrolling?

When plugged into the wall socket it just makes the charging chirp sound over and over again, but that is all. When plugged into a computer it does nothing, no show in iTunes. All the seller was able to say was that he tried to fix the screen and it worked before that, but couldn't get it to work properly after that. Any ideas what could be wrong, what needs to be replaced? If it was just a faulty screen shouldn't the phone still charge and why is it making the constant sound?
