IPhone :: Keep It Clock Face On All Night To Use As A Bedside Clock?
May 2, 2012I would like to use my iPhone as a bedside clock at night, but it keeps going to sleep. Is there a way to keep the clock face on while charging?

BB Bold 9650 :: 9650 Burning Hot When Charging
Jul 11, 2010Anyone else have this problem? I usually sleep with my Bold in bed with me (who doesn't) lol, and have been waken up many times to a sizzling hot phone. like burning up hot. I put it on the nightstand and seems to cool down. but I always slept with my tour laying next to me in bed, and it never got that hot. Please let me know, or test this theory tonight Just want to make sure it is not a bad phone or battery. thanks for your time.
Not being weird its my alarm clock and i don't have a nightstand on my side of the bed and I sure as heck am not leaving it on the nightstand with my wife's bold. mine needs comfort lol. Also i realize this may have been posted before, but i am more looking for 9650 specific threads. and more charging specific threads as well.
BB Bold 9650 :: Clock As Lock Screen
Jun 18, 2010Is there any way to get the clock as the lock screen on the 9650? I just got mine today and love the big flip clock display and would love to make this the lock screen somehow, but it only displays when charging. I can't believe there is a setting for this? Sweet phone by the way, I went from an 8330.

Jul 5, 2010I have a 9650 issued by my job and have a password that is forced by my IT group. When the phone is locked (not just the keyboard but password enabled) there are times that the time is not updating unless I unlock the phone. My old Curve never did this, it showed the current time regardless of the password.Is there a fix for this? I saw a thread in the 9700 forum that this was an issue back in April, guess it still is? Any suggestions would be great, since I don't wear a watch anymore. My blackberry is the only way I am ever on time anymore.

Jul 2, 2010I have a problem with my phone. I only get 2 or 3 bars in my house and at work at the most. When I plug my phone in to charge it everything is fine until about 90 percent charged. After that for all intents and purposes I lose signal completely. Sometimes it will just show no bars, most other times it will got into searching for CDMA and then no service. It does not change when the battery is fully charged either. The only thing that fixes it is unplugging the device. It doesn't matter what outlet its plugged into. Ive also tried it at work and home and I get the same results. It does not do it if its plugged into the computer charging on USB, but it does charge a lot slower.

Os is .732
Only apps I run are weatherbug
available memory is 307.7 MB

Jun 3, 2010Wondering if any of u have gotten ur verizon 9650? If so have u noticed ur trackpad left side being higher than right? I ask becuz as we all may know the sprint 9650 has that. Doesn't bother me...nor do I think its defect.

The cursor switches appropriately when just navigating vs. hovering over a link, but the track pad will not regist any "clicks".Has anyone encountered this or know of the fix?

Jul 2, 2010no matter what settings I use on the 9650 "Memory" settings. I cann't get any computer (Windows 7 or XP Pro) to recognize the device as "mass storage device" so I can access the memory card. There is plenty of items on the card, and I can access them fro mthe decive, but the computer won't "find" it. This is with DM 5.0 and 4.7, on windows XP Pro and Windows 7.

Mar 16, 2012So about a week ago, I docked my iPhone 4S into my Sony ICF-C7iP clock radio as I do every evening before going to bed. I bought this clock radio back in August and have had no problems with it at all. However this time, I noticed my phone was not charging. It didn't make the charging beep nor did it show on the display that it was charging. I tried removing it & re-seating it...nothing. I tried rebooting my phone which resulted in the same problem. When I plug my iPhone into either a standard sync cable or an iPhone dock, it charges/syncs as normal.
Suspecting the problem was with the alarm clock, I contacted Sony support. The clueless support rep on the other line suggested I return the clock in exchange for a refurbished one. For a $60 clock, this was more trouble than it was worth, so I decided against it.
I then decided to purchase an iHome iA9 which was sure to work. I just unpacked it and set it up. When I docked the iPhone on it...you guessed it...nothing. It is still not charging. The funny thing is that the iPhone will play music through the iHome with no problems. I had also tried plugging the iHome into a different outlet with no luck either. I am out of ideas. I am left to assume that for some reason, my phone does no longer like charging when docked on to an alarm clock.
how I can get this to work again? I recently upgraded to iOS 5.1 and honestly don't know if that would have anything to do with it. But the likelihood of 2 completely different clock radios exhibiting the same problem is virtually non-existent.
As mentioned, I tried rebooting the phone with no luck. Docking the phone to a standard charging cable plugged into the wall charges the phone fine. Docking the phone on an iPhone compatable dock charges the phone fine. Is the problem with my phone?
BB Bold 9650 :: 9650 - How To Save SMS Text To Draft?
Jul 8, 2010I purchased the 9650 bold a few weeks ago. I do not do a lot of texting, but when I do, the texts are pretty long. On my old BB I hit the back arrow key and it saved to draft, (i would often have 4-5 texts in draft before I sent all out) If im not mistaken you cant do this on the new 9650?? Do I need to get an application to assist with this? ANy suggestions? Sorry if this is a rookie question but...Im a rookie when it comes to these phones.

Jun 21, 2010When I upgraded my 9630 to my new bold 9650 I had a 16gb micro sd card in the 9630. I copied all of the files from my card to my computer, put the 16gb card in my 9650 and formatted the card. I then copied all of the files from my computer back to the sd card and put the card back in the 9650. All seems to be ok, I have my pictures etc. When I go to connect my BB 9650 to my computer I get a message on the BB that says: "Content rights do not match this device. Please insert the media card back to the right device." this only happens if I have the memory option set to "Auto enable mass storage mode storage set to NO" Any ideas?

Jun 8, 2010Is anyone else having trouble using the "Vibrate in Holster" setting? My 8330 would automatically switch to vibrate when I put it in my holster that has the magnetic closure. May 17, 2010Is the keyboard on the 9650 exactly the same as the 9630? Or is it the same as the keyboard on the 9700? The keyboard on the 9700 is much nicer in my opinion to that of the 9630 as its a little wider it seems and keys seem a touch bigger.

Jul 12, 2010Since my contract is up on Sunday (for me and my mom anyways, my dads isn't until october, so they are making us pay the early termination fee or go without a phone for 3 months, oh and this is Verizon i'm talking about, but you probably could've guessed that) and I am thinking about either getting a bold 9650 or curve 8530 for Sprint, since Verizon makes you add $30 onto each blackberry(crooks). But I was looking at the features and I would like the Bold but for some reason the cheapest I can find it is $99, while the Bold for Verizon I can find for free. My question is, is the Bold a lot better, enough to spend 100 dollars instead of 50? and why is it that I can find the Verizon bold for free but not for Sprint?
