I turn my phone off before bedtime and plug it in to charge. The alarm still goes off at the time I have it set and when I go to hit "snooze" the phone is on.

Lumia 900 failed to wake me up this morning. The alarm just did not sound at all.
- Alarm was set and was shown to be in use. Even the Icon in the start screen was shown
- Tried multiple times afterwards setting the existing alarm a few minutes forward. None of the attempts alarmed.

I charge my iPhone every night, overnight in my iHome P90. I was wondering if this can hurl the battery in any way. I used to do this a few months ago but it seemed as if I was getting less usage time from my battery. I was also wondering if unplugging the iPhone before fully charged can hurt the battery in any way (e.g. Charging at 50% and unplugging at 80%).

When I look at it, it's "Off," but I haven't turned it off. In fact the only time I ever launched the clock app was to set up this alarm, except when I've had to turn it back "On."
Of all the bugs, this one really bothers me. I just deleted the alarm and made a new one. Hopefully, this doesn't happen again.
I can not set my alarm for 2:30 am since daylight savings time went into effect today. It changes to 1:30 - I can set it for 3:30 correctly. Will this correct itself after midnight tonight?

When an alarm goes off using the default clock / alarm app and the phone is locked, all I get is the option to Snooze. The only way to actually dismiss the alarm so that it does not go off again is to unlock the phone while the alarm is going off.
Is there a way - either by pressing a button on the phone or getting a dismiss button next to the snooze button - to dismiss an alarm in the lock screen without having to unlock the phone? I know if the phone is unlocked, the alert will give me the option of either "Snooze" or "Ok," but I don't get that same option in lock mode.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhat happened is that I kept my Moto X gen 1 phone for charging at 11 pm in the night and was supposed to remove it after an hour or so, since i anticipated that it will be fully charged by then. However, i fell asleep and then woke up at 6. As a result, my phone got OVERCHARGED for nearly 6 hours straight. And this has happened TWICE.
Though Motorola claims that the battery is "over-charge proof", i think there is a possibility that there must have been some little damage to it, since this occurred twice.
I charge my Defy when I go to bed. When I hit the power button first thing in the morning, the phone response to touch, click, etc.is all slowed down. This goes away when I turn off the phone and turn it back on, but I'm lazy and don't want to reboot every day. (I normally reboot every 3-5 days)

View 15 Replies View RelatedI left my atrix charging at night and when i woke up the next day, the phone is off and wont turn on. Stuff I tried:
- Pulling the battery out,
- Charging with another chargers
- Charging the battery with an external battery charger
- Using a tester to see the battery voltage(it was OK)
- Connecting to the computer via USB (solid green led no charge, nor detected by computer)
It wont even turn on, show any errors or messages or leds, my atrix just became a brick by itself out of nowhere, it didnt get wet or fall down or anything like that.
I am a long time Android user, but just recently got the LG G3 (32GB version) with Bell Canada. I had a Samsung SIII for the past few years and upgrade time came. So I did my research, found the LG G3, and so far I've been very happy.
There is one issue, though, that I have found with the alarm clock. I first noticed it Saturday (I got the phone Friday), set up the alarm clock app, and made sure it worked (by setting it 2-3 min in the future and waiting). Saturday morning, I found myself naturally waking up, I didn't think much of it as that is normal for a Saturday. Then I realized that it was around 9 AM (the alarm was set for 8 AM), I asked my wife if she heard it --- she said, "no". So then I set it for a few minutes in the future again, "must have slept through it", I thought (even though I could wake up to the SOUND of the display coming on).
Sunday morning I got woke up by the kids at 6 AM, but noticed that the alarm DID go off at 8 AM (the difference being that since 6 AM, I had the device unplugged and had been using it).
Today, I had my alarm set for 5:30 (my normal waking time during the week), I woke up to the sound of my wife's alarm at 5:45, mine definitely did not go off. I rolled over and opened the alarm app --- everything is set up properly. So then I figure that I'll set it for 5:50, do so, and it goes off at 5:50, I snooze it and it goes off at 6:00.
This morning I installed Alarm Clock Plus, but I won't know if it works properly until tomorrow morning. All my Stock alarm settings are correct, I DO have Quiet Mode turned on for the duration of the night (10 PM -- 6 AM), but some of the tests I ran (eg the 5:50 one) were ran during Quiet Mode. In Quiet mode I have "Block alarms" unchecked. Under the stock Alarm Clock's settings I have "Ring in Silent Mode" checked as well.
I set my alarm the night before and by the time morning comes the alarm is turned off by itself. The icon goes away and I have to go into the clock app to turn it back on.

When I set an alarm I only have option to use 12-hour AM/PM format. Is there a way to have the alarm using the 24 hour format?

View 6 Replies View RelatedThe stock alarm-clock of my LG G3 shows a quite strange behavior. Let’s say I set my alarm to wake me up on 09:19 a.m. like I did this morning. At 09:21 a.m. I recognized that the alarm didn’t go off. So I hold the phone in my hands – but still no alarm (so: shaking didn’t work at all). Only when I open my flip-case, the alarm goes off – but in this case 2 minutes too late. This happens one or two times a week. Apart from that my alarm-clock wakes me up to the correct times.
Those are the alarm-related settings on my phone:
-Snooze-standard-time is 5 minutes
-Gesture “stop alarm or snooze” is active (if I turn the phone for 180 degrees, the alarm snoozes for another 5 minutes)
-Quick-circle-case and all the settings that go with it are inactive
The question now is: Why does the alarm sometimes only start as soon as I open my flip-case and is silent when it is closed?
Since I installed the maemo update, my alarm clock is not working anymore. well, it's working, but it doesn't make any sound. I tried to change almost all possible settings concerning sounds on the phone, but it still doesn't make any sound.Does anyone else have this problem? Or a solution?
