View 8 Replies View RelatedI've just bought a Storm 2 and I am not happy at all.I thought Blackberry would market & sell a product after have been well tested and ready to go.My Storm2 does not have anything installed just the stuff which came with the smartphone. By other way, my Blackberry does not have any service running: Email, Internet, any other apps. I just have been used to call and get incoming calls and to synchronize with Outlook.
1. The problem 1. is that very often my calls (in or out) are interrupted. I loose the signal, with no one other advise or signal. Suddenly I don't hear anything anymore.
2. The problem 2. is that during calls I often get OS restart. Suddenly during a voice comm the phone turns off and restart. When it turns on again, alone, he gives the following message:
"Uncaught Exception: Missing Resource Net.Rim.Device.Apps.Internal.Bis.Resource.BISClient"
Frequently - typically once a day - I synchronize the Storm 2 and consequently get it online updated.This is stopping me to use my new phone. Keep using my old iPhone and start thinking that using Desire or iPhone would be much better.
For some reason whenever I set my phone to any sound setting with sounds (not silent/vibrate) my phone won't make any sounds when I receive messages or calls. I use Normal sound setting and I have everything set to specific sounds but when I click "Try it" it does everything I set except for make noise. Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with my phone or what?

I've always treated my BB good but I"m ready to throw it against a wall. Whats the point of having a phone if I can't answer the darn thing?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI unlocked my 9530 and everything works great except I cant make or receive calls and so I went through the trouble shooting process from blackberry and I need to switch my active phone number and it said to click on my number on the phone screen and switch to the number I need to be there, well I try clicking on the number and nothing happens so I cant figure out what else to try.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought a 9530 and Unlocked it. I inserted my ATT sim card and it won't make or receive calls. I am not to worried about the data plan at this point. I just want be able to call and get calls. Am I missing something? The phone was from Verizon. I unlocked it but when I restore connections, it still says verizon wireless as the network, even with my ATT sim card installed.

Updated the phone via USB cable to the latest software.
Didn't notice anything was wrong today at first. Set my email up today, and it works great along with the txt messaging.
However I cannot make or receive calls. It keeps saying "Congestion". I have called AT&T and they say there is no congestion in my area and told me they can't help me because this phone isn't for at&t and blah blah blah.
I don't know what to do now. Any ideas of things I can try?
I do know that I had to make room for the update and barely had room if this means anything.....
This started happening in the last couple of days. my phone makes calls one after the other. I have no idea what happened. My phone has always been flawless. It even makes calls while I am talking on the phone.
I called Verizon and they have a reconditioned phone waiting at a local store. I hate to give up my phone for someone elses problem phone.
On my Blackberry Curve 8330 I could listen to music via bluetooth, then place a call using the headset's voice-dial button. When the call ended the music would restart. But on my shiney new Storm2 9550, this doesn't work. After the call ends, the phone just stays at the dial screen. Any suggestion on what I could try?

long story short i would make a call with 100% battery talk for 2-3 minutes the led on the phone would go red, phone would try to restart but would not until i did a battery pull .
once restart was complete my battery would be drained to the point that radio would get shut off.
I am currently using one of my old phones until i can find a solution for this problem any help would be great I miss my storm.
I have a Blackberry 9500 Storm locked to Vodafone and recently bought an unlock code from Ebay to use on my Orange sim. After following the unlock procedure the phone accepted the orange sim and shows "security disabled". But I can't use the phone to make or receive calls and texts. I have checked the network settings and they are showing up orange. I have contacted the ebay seller but they just said check sim card activated - which it is.

Problem afflicting the Storm 2 in the world. Sent to help with a few days of life, is lying there for three weeks along with many other Storm 2 "pending rules from theBlackberry." In short, no they have not even touched and expect the Bleckberry tell them what to do. Needless to say that with the gentlemen of the Blackberry is impossible to talk!
View 25 Replies View RelatedOk this is my situation. I have a blackberry curve from tmobile. My sister got a new phone so she gave me her blackberry storm 9350. I went to a cell phone shop around my area and they unlocked the storm so i can use it with my tmobile sim card. I put on the sim card and i thought everything was working perfect but then i found out that i have multiple problem.
The good: I can make calls, i can use the internet.
The bad: when i place a call my sister number appears in the other person phone (not my tmobile number), i cant call my voicemail, cant setup my email, cant receive calls and more problems i still havent discovered lol.
my phone blocks and unblocks without me pressing the button. sometimes it blocks for about 20 minutes and there is nothing i can do. i just have to wait. sometimes im typing a message and it keeps blocking and unblocking.
View 6 Replies View RelatedVery often my Iphone 4s (with full coverage and 3G signal correctly dispalyed) loose connection to the internet, then it continues to look for 3g connection for a long time with no joy (so it never switches automatically to Edge...) and by then it can't do calls (if I try calls ends immediately...) neither sends sms. It stays blocked, restarting sometimes doesn't work, the only solution I've found so far is to witch off/on the 3G function. After that off/on, iPhone starts immediately to work fine again, in 3G modality too. I'm not 100% sure, but I noticed this problem only after updgraded to iOS 5.1. Any way to figure it out without disabling/enabling 3G all the time?

I called Verizon Tech Support and they just ended up giving me a brand new Storm 2 for free! All I had to do was re-sign my contract for another two years. Gonna miss my Storm 1 but the Storm 2 is sweet! Just got it today. Anyone wanting to upgrade, try using that excuse.

It's rocking Verizon's official 5.0 and she doesn't do anything to modify or hack it. I've never encountered this before.
I'm wondering if the OS became corrupt, but we're @ Red Lobster and there's nothing I can do now.
I'm having problem with my storm phone ever since it was dropped in water. I left it to dry for a week. Since then I replaced my battery and the phone came on with the clock and then the screen showed up. and could not do anything. Then the screen went black. Now when I try to recharge it only a green light appears and nothing else. Did I kill my battery and is the phone no longer good or it's just my screen and i can replace it.

I have no problems doing the manual activation to allow me to make and receive calls. However, I cannot register my phone to get my data usage set up. After hours of troubleshooting over the phone with Verizon, they've some up with the conclusion that I have to be in the US, and on the Verizon network to register the phone. I have always been on the global data plan. So, basically right now I'm with a smartphone that has zero smartphone capabilities. is another way to get this phone activated.

This happens after its been on the charger all night. The only way to fix it is to use quickpull. Which i have set to re-boot everyday at 5am.. Could my battery be going bad or what?
