I have had this phone for a week now and haven't been able to set up the email. When in the setup wizzard is give me only the option to use a work email account nothing there to set up a new account. when clicking next it want a password that i do not have. I don't have internet, apps, and can't even send a pic message.
My browser and email stopped working about 3 days ago and I spent almost a whole day on the phone with support, no help. They had me do everything including delete all my service books and now there is nothing in the host routing table. They finally said, we cant help. My phone is stuck on lower case edge and I cant get data.

When writing your question Yesterday added Blackberry Enterprise Server 4.1.4.17 to the phone, which previously had been provisioned by Verizon directly (connected to our exchange server). Email comes in just fine, but if I wish to either reply or forward the message, at the very top of the message, there is a note that states: "Send Using" and next to that is a button that shows "Desktop v" (the v is a down arrow). I am unable to change the Desktop button to my email account.

I am 1 step away from throwing this phone against a wall, I really need to access my emails asap.. So hoping some1 can help..Basically it seems to intermittently go into this mode or has this bug or even screen damage? If i open my emails for example what ever I click on it highlights every email from the top to that specific email instead of just selecting 1 email. I cannot click on any individual email it just highlights multiple emails and its impossible to open any emails like this, even if I use the BB Function button then click on Open it jumps to the top "Help" and wont select "Open" or any were else on the menu. It happened a few times over the last week or 2 then randomly goes back to normal, was fine all weekend now it has just happened. I cant select some of the main icons on the home screen either, it's really starting to seem like the touch screen is damaged?? (Also I noticed on the facebook ap there is 1 icon it will now not select unless I tilt it to the side..)
I have the icon sayin that i have an unopened email but when i looked there was nothing that i had not read yet.. i did a battery pull (my first instinct) and then clicked marked all open in the options menu and it is still there there is no red * next to the icon just the envelope with the number 1. i also checked my vmail and deleted all vmails and it is still there please help!
In the last day or so have I experienced a problem where by I get a new email notification icon, but no new email in my inbox. At first I suspected it was the Android theme I have running, but when I went to use a different them I was getting the same result everytime.

When I go to setup/email to set up a new account it asks me to log in. At first, I thought it was that I had the wrong password. Then I asked to have my password sent to my email. The device gave me a message that the email had been sent successfully. I never got the email. I have tried more than once.
My brother gave me his old storm. I put my t mobil account chip and bought the data plan and most of the features seem to work (I think).My brother's email is still in the email button and blackberry can't connect to the email server so that I can delect his email and put mine.Also when I make a call the 'My number' is showing my brother's number.
Is there a way to correct this. Does he need to unregister somewhere. Does he need to go to his carrier Version to change something?

I opened an attachment from an email I received through my BB. It was an Excel document. I accidentally deleted the email while using my BB and I cannot recover the email from my live account. Is there anyway I can recover the email from my BB?
I have tried every way possible to get my storm 2 to activate with my company email and will not connect? I talked with my IT department and they have supplied us with all the information. It wants an exchange URL, and I have provided that URL for outlook web access and the server and will not accept it. My IT does not have an answer and neither does Verizon.

I just got a friend's old blackberry storm. Their email account is still on it, but isn't active with the device. The icon for it still shows up in the menu. Under the email options it doesn't show up. I cannot figure out how to get the account to completely go away.
Every day one or more emails do not show up on my Storm2 9550, but they show up in Outlook on my computer. Ironically, I have spam rules in affect on my Outlook but not on the phone.
i have been using email service for more than a year now through my BB storm 2 (9520) recently i got a message that i need to verify my email password and as i did that through email set up i got the pop up msg as " email address and password do not match " however when i use my mail on laptop it works with the same password. i formatted my phone also still it wont work?
I just got Blackberry storm 9550 phone with unlocked, I bought this phone from verizon wireless, but I use different SIM card in order to travel around the world, the phone is working very well, but I can not setup the email account, the system does not allow me to set up email account.when I select an email setting option, the system ask me provide my Enterprise activation password, I do not know how to get password, also I just only want to use the personal email box, do not want to use the enterprise emailbox.
My BB is on a corporate server and we receive e-mails from around the world at all hours of the night. Does anyone know how to turn off the audible notification of incoming mail, while retaining the settings for incoming calls and texts?I have the Storm II.
The Setup Wizard is supposed to give 2 options - 'I want to create an email address' and 'I want to use a work email account with a Blackberry Enterprise Server'. My Setup Wizard only offers the second option with the BB Enterprise Server. How can I get the option of 'I want to creat an email address' into the Setup Wizard or set up my email connection without the Setup Wizard?
My email provider just switched servers/companies. the new company sent me setup instructions for our pop/imap email. Set up just fine - emails started coming. Given option to change password to something I would remember. Did so. Email works fine on my desktop, but the blackberry 9530 will not accept the new password. can receive nothing. can send email from the blackberry though. Provider is Verizon. Went through 2 levels of support and they can't come up with an answer/solution - only suggestion is to contact blackberry. Have deleted the account on the blackberry and re-created (will only accept 'old' password), have removed battery and tried again. same result.
I have email reconciliation configured for my gmail account with these settings:Delete on: Mailbox and Handheld Wireless Reconcile: On, On Conflicts: Mailbox Wins
When I initiate reconciliation, no emails are deleted from my handheld, even though there are many more gmail emails on my handheld than there are in my gmail inbox.
I've noticed when I send an email, recipient can see my complete email address and not my name and last name like usual. Is there a way to show my name instead of my address?
Upgraded os last night and somehow i managed to delete all my email addy, i was able to get my yahoo gmail etc back but cannot figure out how to get @vzw.blackberry.net back. I tried resending service books, restoring from 2 previous backups nothing... Anyone have any idea on how i can get it back? i use it for several things.
