Every day one or more emails do not show up on my Storm2 9550, but they show up in Outlook on my computer. Ironically, I have spam rules in affect on my Outlook but not on the phone.

I have been receiving my work email to my phone now for years and all of a sudden it quit working. Can someone tell me what could be the problem? I have done the hard re-boot etc and nothing seems to be working.

My browser and email stopped working about 3 days ago and I spent almost a whole day on the phone with support, no help. They had me do everything including delete all my service books and now there is nothing in the host routing table. They finally said, we cant help. My phone is stuck on lower case edge and I cant get data.

Yesterday added Blackberry Enterprise Server 4.1.4.17 to the phone, which previously had been provisioned by Verizon directly (connected to our exchange server). Email comes in just fine, but if I wish to either reply or forward the message, at the very top of the message, there is a note that states: "Send Using" and next to that is a button that shows "Desktop v" (the v is a down arrow). I am unable to change the Desktop button to my email account.

I am trying to connect my phone to my computer. First, when I first plugin my USB to my computer it was installing then it was installed successfully. But, it didn't pop-out anything. There's no anything showing up. All my phone do is charging and that's it. The mass storage was on. I installed the desktop manager on blackberry.com but still not doing anything. Now, I uninstalled it because it's not doing anything.

When I tried viewing new text messages, they were not in the inbox. I soon realized that my emails were showing up in my sms and mms inbox. I had to go into Options and Inbox Settings and choose for sms and mms to be included in the "main message list". How to I get these messages to go back to separate places?

I have a card in it and have tried 3 different ones. It also will not show any blackberry icons on my Mac desktop. Card show up in Options Memory. Auto enable Mass Storage Mode when Connected is set to NO, is this right?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem where most of my contact names will not display when I receive a call or text message, just their number. This happened all of the sudden and, as it seems to me, randomly.
I have disabled all content protection, tried changing the smart dialing settings, cleared the event log, tried reordering the contact list and did a few battery pulls.
Some of the contact names are still working correctly, but it is a select few and I cannot figure out why only those ones are showing. I have not installed any new software recently or changed any settings other than to try and fix this issue.

I am 1 step away from throwing this phone against a wall, I really need to access my emails asap.. So hoping some1 can help..Basically it seems to intermittently go into this mode or has this bug or even screen damage? If i open my emails for example what ever I click on it highlights every email from the top to that specific email instead of just selecting 1 email. I cannot click on any individual email it just highlights multiple emails and its impossible to open any emails like this, even if I use the BB Function button then click on Open it jumps to the top "Help" and wont select "Open" or any were else on the menu. It happened a few times over the last week or 2 then randomly goes back to normal, was fine all weekend now it has just happened. I cant select some of the main icons on the home screen either, it's really starting to seem like the touch screen is damaged?? (Also I noticed on the facebook ap there is 1 icon it will now not select unless I tilt it to the side..)

I have the icon sayin that i have an unopened email but when i looked there was nothing that i had not read yet.. i did a battery pull (my first instinct) and then clicked marked all open in the options menu and it is still there there is no red * next to the icon just the envelope with the number 1. i also checked my vmail and deleted all vmails and it is still there please help!

No problems the first week but now I am constantly getting a message saying application memory low, asking me to delete the one application (facebook) that I have installed on my phone. I have a 4gb memory card and everything is stored to that not the phone. so when i click no, it deletes my texts which is very inconvenient seeing as how I do alot of my work from my phone via text with my boss. it deletes my texts even if i only have 10 on my phone... it deletes the messages and leaves the blank message box. How to keep it from deleting my texts I changed the setting to keep the messages forever but it still deletes them. I am ready to throw my phone out the window!

If someone calls me on a land line the caller id works great and name appears as in my contact list. If someone calls me on a cell phone I get unknown number. I have tried battery pull and tried changing encryption or the smart dialing settings.

It's time that BB and Verizon get their S*&T together and stop tossing out excuses for the reason as to why things don't work. Take the time you would to write the excuse and come up with a patch or fix to the problems.
Today I turned on my Storm 2 and saw what I assume is a BB Message icon under the date on home screen; it's solid blue, and on left shows "1". Opening message folders shows nothing. So when I get a text now 2 icons pop up (SMS and crunchSMS) and I have to go to both to stop my phone from blinking. I have tried resending IT policy from BES server 4.1.7 where BB device is setup for exchange 2003 email. Also tried siwtching off the device, taking out the battery for a minute, reinserting and turning it ON again. Still no luck with that Options what i am looking for.

Got a Captivate which is working great except Im having problems with the email. Sometimes it won't show in my mailbox for several hours or the next day. Had AT&T look at it and they said the problem was the Android operating system. They tried downloading new software but when they sent an E-mail to me it still took over 10 minutes to show up. The next minute I have tried entering the Serial of my iPad 3 as well as my iphone 4s, the option appeared in the list again... The thing is that its a paint it the arse for me to go up to the nearest Apple store, wich is miles awat from me.
