I have a set up my gmail account on the Blackberry Curve 9300 via BIS - and only new emails (since I added the account) shows up and I can't get the old emails to show for some reason.
View 3 RepliesNow when I get emails on this phone, they come in through my notification screen and I can read them there but it doesn't show up within my actual email account icon on the phone. Nothing since the registering the email on the phone successfully email shows up on the actual phone.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I send an email out from my blackberry, I get a exact copy of it in my inbox. Blackberry see's the problem but does not know why it happenes. It goes on for 2 or 3 hours a day then just stops. This has been going on for 6 months. There are no forwards, rules or filters on the account and the account is set-up as POP. My carrier is Verizon, while my client has the exact same problem with his email account but uses ATT.

1. Is there some way of being notified of my emails better? I have four accounts on my Nokia Messaging account, and I have to open each one and check each inbox individually. Pain in the neck; is there an app that shows on the main menu screen what new emails are in which box?
2. Can SMS be marked read? My N900 keeps reporting that I have so many new SMSs, but I have actually read them;
3. Why do all my contacts' birthdays come up twice in the calendar? That's just annoying - it looks as though the N900 is adding a birthday automatically;
4. Is there a setting to allow the system to change from portrait to landscape and back again? My device only seems to do this on a few applications - is this normal?
5. Skype - is there a way to see which contacts are on line, other than having to wade through the contact lists? I have over 2,000 contacts and it is pretty time consuming, if I am just looking for a chat with anyone about.

If I'm on my PC and I compose a message to the same email address I'm writing from, which is connected with my BIS, the email doesn't appear on my BB ever.In Gmail, I have forwarding disabled but POP enabled.

Is it possible to stilll recieve the emails but that all attachments are filtered and excluded from the pushed email into my BB? If I want to see the attachments I will goto a proper PC to see it by logging in that way. I want the BB to just let me know an email was sent, and what text/word content is in it, if any. I dont want to recieve the attachments to my blackberry.
Also, does the emails with attachments sent to blackberrys use the data, or are they not downloaded until you explicitly click to open attachments>
Is there a way of highlighing all or numbers of emails so blocks of emails can be deleted rather than one by one?

I've had several problems lately. First off, itunes wouldn't show, even though the process was running in Windows Job List. Now, it pops up occasionally, but when I connect my iphone 4, it doesn't show in the left panel in itunes and hence can't sync.
I've tried rebooting, rebooting my iphone, reinstalling itunes, deleting everything apple, rebooting, reinstalling itunes, deleting everyhting apple AND vacuuming my Program Files folder and the shared folders with a third-party extermination program to make sure NOTHING was left. THEN reinstalling itunes, but to no avail.

I downloaded and paid several ringtones from itunes store but they are not showing up in the iphone anymore (while they do appear in the itunes).
