When setting up my hotmail on my new bb I keep getting this message, "application encountered an error and cannot continue." I have a connection - typing on it currently - but can't figure out if I missed a step.
When i get to the wifi setup screen (no wifi available) it wont let me continue with setup without selecting a wifi network...there isnt one around so cannot continue with the setup, is there no way around this ?
Synchronization fails because of "Error Encountered. Error Code - 0x80043ac9 Check Documentation" This is when syncronising with Outlook Address Book.... this happens at 1916 of 1990 Records...How can I fix this?
I have lost so much after I tried to upgrade and back-up. Our Vodacom Customercare told me to copy the file LOADERBACKUP.bbb from my computer and bring it to them with my phone and they will do the necessary, I desperately need my information/data especially my calendar as EVERYTHING is on there. How do I get that file back on my phone so that all information is restored?
this error, I try to sign in with my BB Curve 8520 Windows Live Messenger but it throws this message: "Server encountered unrecoverable error. Please contact your system administrator".
I recently updated to the new OS version, but when I went to set up my email accounts again, it's says "Sorry, unable able to continue your session. Please log in again." I know for a fact that the passwords are correct because it allows me to see the passwords.
Error encountered when syncing BBStorm 9530 OS ver 5 to Outlook 2007 and Windows XP PC OS syncing stops with the following message: "Error encountered. Error Code 0x8004fd28. Check Documentation" I went to a forum that said to look at the sync log and see if there is an "ignore" line at the bottom of the log. I checked out the sync log and at the bottom it has the following: "Internal error #-728"
When I try to sync my Outlook 2003 calendar entries with my Curve, I get the following error:"Error encountered. Error code - 0x80043ac9. Check documentation."It seems to be stuck in the "Processing Device Calendar" screen, with "Record 20 of 80 Records", when the above error popped up. I get the following message when I try to sync my calendar. "Error encountered. Error Code00x8004fceb. Check documentation" I have never had this message before today. I have deleted all new calendar entries since my last sync, with no results.
I noticed today when I got home that none of my email had come through on my BB. I did a battery pull. So, I went to "Manage Email Settings" and tried to connect, but got "The application has encountered an error and cannot continue." Update - I just checked my device manager and it says I'm disconnected. It says "COM3/Disconnected" to be exact.
My company has just converted to Gmail on Gapps. When I log into the account from the browser on the phone I put in name@companyname.com and leave the password blank. When I click on sign in it takes me to a page where I can enter my company domain user name and password and enter a pin number.When I try to set up a gmail account on the phone so that I can use the builtin email and calendar apps the account setup will not let me continue without entering a password.
i am a first time blackberry user, and im loving it. i was just wondering why in all the videos on Internet show a personal e-mail and a company email setting to choise from, when im only giving the company e-mail one, and not the personal one. my blackberry curve 9300 3g is up to date on the os and stuff.

Im having problem setting up my Hotmail account, it used to work fine until few days ago. It says ive entered an incorrect username or password which i can sign in fine with them details if i use laptop or safari through the phone.

I recently got an Xperia X10 however I'm having trouble setting up my hotmail account on the Email App, it always says 'Setup could not finish, unable to open connection to server'. I've tried setting it up both as a POP3 account and an IMAP (as I'm not sure which to use) but still no luck.
I'm considering the 9800 as my next phone. Right now, I'm running a Tilt2, WM 6.5 My contacts & calendar events are synced via Microsoft MyPhone & Google sync. Will the Blackberry OS import that data from either of those sources? And how easily will the Blackberry set up & handle hotmail & Gmail?
When attempting a sync with my outlook on the laptop, the adddress book quits half way thru with the error message,"Error encountered 0x80040fb3 check documentation"Prior to this I had updated software to ver. 5.0.0.973 bundle 1596. updated desktop software. kept trying with same response. Each time I switch on I get the message "A network error was encountered. Check your server settings" Pressing OK does not work. In fact there is no problem as when using the sleeve which turns the phoneoff /on the message disappears. How do I get rid of this message?
I am trying to set up my Hotmail and Gmail account on my E7. When opening the email app for the first time I enter a new username and password. On the next step it only gives me "exchange active sync" as an option and not the rest of the email providers as it does on my E6 for example.

My iphone 4s is totally FUBAR. I tried the reset that involves deleting everything and starting over. I've tried several times for 2 days now with the same results. What now? I have a Nokia 920 I purchased just a month ago. I continue to receive error message code 80072F30 and I can no longer sent email via my POP3 email account. I tried to speak with a customer representative today and was given a lengthy possible solution to this situation. I go this error in my 8GB memory card, I tried to switch off but it didn't work, finally I tried to format the card on pc but I even cannot format the card, but I can access the memory in pc, I copied all item but still cannot format card, then I tried another card of 2GB but same thing happen to this card ! I can access to card but this error continuously blinks.
Got my BB curve 8025 at the weekend and have encounted afew things i didnt understand serched the net and found this site which as been a god send! I'm trying to set up email but atm its only giving me the option for setting up work email account with a BB enterprise server - I just want to set up a normal email account using my normal hotmail account but i cant get any further along as it asks for my enterprise activation password - which i obviously dont have?
Also - a few friend have gien me their pin so i can add them on BBM, i type the pin and it says contact pending but the person/s im trying to add get no notification that i'm trying to add them - we try it the other way with me giving them my pin and get the same result WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
