Feb 12, 2011When I try to sync my Outlook 2003 calendar entries with my Curve, I get the following error:"Error encountered. Error code - 0x80043ac9. Check documentation."It seems to be stuck in the "Processing Device Calendar" screen, with "Record 20 of 80 Records", when the above error popped up. See screenshot below.I have NO PROBLEM syncing Outlook Contacts or Memos. I ONLY have problem when syncing Outlook Calendar.I've read other posts out there where there was a similar problem when syncing Contacts, and the solution is to remove Birthday contact entries:[URL] But I don't have any Birthday in my contacts, and my problem is with Calendar, not Contacts.

Jul 5, 2011I get this error on both the Calendar synch (on it's own) and Contact synch (on it's own) and if I do either of them one way (both to and from BB) or two way.
I notice that on the device itself, under Bypass, Servers (in the Device Manager Properties window, that it still shows the server name from when the BB was used through an entreprise server, from which I've now been switched off.

So, I went to "Manage Email Settings" and tried to connect, but got "The application has encountered an error and cannot continue." Update - I just checked my device manager and it says I'm disconnected. It says "COM3/Disconnected" to be exact.

Anyway, I'm trying to set up my personal email accounts on the device, however it goes to the BlackBerry ID splash screen when it tells me to enter my ID credentials. But when I enter the master code it says "code error" too. I tried to hardware reset , but when i hold 3,* & green buttons and turn it on, phone asks me "continue using the phone in offline mode? " (it asks since when i tried to enter deference codes for several times), and i should to answer this and press other keys instead of these 3 buttons, so it didn't work too, I opened it key pad and clean again,but it couldn't help.

Dec 22, 2010There appears to be no fix for this problem. RIM suggests the issue relates to email2 and/or email3 entry's with no content in the email field for the Outlook Contacts. This has been thoroughly checked and I confirmed this was not the case (also confirmed no East Asian characters).The problem is definitely in the newest version of the Device operating system. When I rolled back to the old operating system, the problem goes away.I can not believe RIM has no contact capability within the Support website for people with problems! Very user unfriendly. They are begging for customers to switch to iPhone.

Sep 16, 2010I am having an issue with a weird error code that I have gotten since day 1 of owning my torch. Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.
