BB (RIM) :: Turn Into Wi-Fi Hotspot?
I was looking around on the internet, and couldn't find any software to turn a blackberry into a wifi hotspot.I know there is a program for Nokia's called Joiku that turns the phone into a wifi hotspot so you can connect to the phone's internet.Anyone know of anything in the works for Blackberrys?That would be awesome if someone could get it to work.Just bought an Ipod touch 3rd gen and would be nice to connect to my blackberry through wifi.

BB (RIM) :: Turn BB Into Wi-Fi Hotspot
Anyone know how to allow your BB to be a wifi gateway using the 3G network? There is an application called Joikuspot but its only for Nokia and samsung. Apparently, the iphone has an app too. Anyone know if there is an app for BB? Would be VERY convenient to have this feature.

IPhone :: When Turn On Cellular Data The Personal Hotspot Function Goes Into A Loop In IOS 5.1
When I turn on the cellular data option the personal hotspot function bar appears with the wording "Personal Hotspot" and the wheel appears and goes around and around forever. If I turn the iPhone off and back on (with cellular data turned on) then the personal hotspot bar appears with the wording "Set up Personal Hotspot" and not wheel spinning. When the wheel is spinning I assume that processing is going on and using battery, not good! By the way I do not use the personal hotspot function. Info: Dell

BB Torch :: OS 7.1 With Mobile Hotspot Capability?
My boss and I just bought two BlackBerry Torch 9810's under the impression that these phones had the ability to use the phone as a mobile HotSpot. At this point it appears that this function should be availble in BlackBerry OS 7.1. As far as I can see Sprint has just released this update about 3 days ago.I really need to know when this will be available for ATT Wireless, as that is our current provider. My boss is already planning on taking his BlackBerry back to ATT within his 30 day period so he can get a Droid that already has this function if we can't get some reassurance that this option is indeed going to become available and soon.I on the other hand, have had my phone for two months, but would rather have a BlackBerry over a Droid any day, but I did have the expectation that I could use the phone as a HotSpot or at least tether over WiFi, or else I may have sucked it up and gotten a Droid (even though I prefer BlackBerry).

BB Torch :: Hotspot Internet Access 9800 Error Message
I keep getting the following message:"The network you are connected to appears to be a hotspot.You may be required to consent to legal terms and/or set up an account to get internet access. Hotspot operators may charge service fees for internet access". However, its a free network that my other devices, such as my playbook connect to without problems. When I click "OK" I get another message that says: "This is a Wi-Fi service. Please ensure your device has an active Wi-Fi connection and try again." I click OK, and it takes my to the BB browser, which of course doesn't work.Its like it wants me to give permission to use the network, but I need to use the network to give the approval. -WiFi is enabled -Bluetooth is enabled -Other devices including Playbook currently work on the network -Repeatedly gives me the first message above, followed by the second message above

Motorola Defy :: 3G Mobile Hotspot Alternative For Creating WiFi HotSpot?
I was always using on other phones with Android 2.2 FroYo that 3G mobile hotspot feature, which was included right in the Android system under Wireless Networks settings.Now in Defy there is no option like that under settings in FroYo. Defy includes own app called 3G Mobile Hotspot, which should work like that option for creating mobile WiFi hotspots in other Android phones. But here is the problem.On my older phone with Android 2.2 I could create 3G WiFi hotspot wherever I needed and it worked. But now, with Defy, when I use that application 3G Mobile Hotspot, it writes me error when creating WiFi hotspot "Cannot set up data link, please contact your service provider" I suppose it is something with my carrier (Vodafone_CZ), but when I used 3G WiFi hotspots on older phones (which had that feature included right in Android settings menu) it worked without problems and I a used mobile phone for 3G internet sharing with my laptop.Now I remember, that I have deleted some DUN profile under APN Internet profiles, could it be that problem, that 3G Mobile Hotspot app is not working?how to create WiFi hotspot on my Defy for example with some other app?Or if not, how can I use Internet Tethering in Defy Mobile Networks menu via Bluetooth (my laptot has BT). I dont know, what should I set in my laptot to use Defy like BT 3G Internet provider and I dont know, if Internet Tetherig via BT is not charged at my carrier (I know, that the 3G WiFi hotspot feature was not extra charged..) so for that reason I would like to make it working on my Defy. My ROM: original 34.179.2.MB525.Retail.en.CEE Android 2.2.2

BB Curve 8900 :: Turn 8900 Into A Hotspot
I have an ipod touch. It has, for me at least, a much nicer browsing experience. (and despite my considerations, I will not be shipping it back to Steve with 'APP FAIL' etched into the glass).Because this device lacks bluetooth, but has wifi, I was wondering if I could turn the 8900 into a wifi router for both my touch and my laptop.

BB Torch :: Bluetooth Cannot Turn On
I have a torch phone and it will not allow me to turn my bluetooth on. I turn it on and it turns a light blue then when I check to see if it is working it isn't on. I recently did an update to the software and the problem seemed to occur right after this. I'm not sure the software updated correctly and I did reboot.

BB Torch :: 9800 Won't Turn On At All?
I was using Facebook app on my phone when I noticed it froze on the screen which I assumed was the phone lagging since I had a couple other apps open but then I also noticed my LED light come on in a still abnormal red, a dark red and then immediately my phone shut off completely. I did a battery pull thinking I just needed to reboot it but that didn't even work since even after multiple battery pulls the reboot screen won't even show up, no loading bar, no LED either. Just nothing at all. Tried leaving it alone for a few hours, put the battery back in and still nothing. Left the battery in while charging in and still nothing.
