BB Torch :: Buttons Don't Turn Off - Keyboard Doesn't Turn On
Oct 28, 2012why the buttoms next to the track pad don't turn off, I lock the phone and they keep on. And keyboard light doesn't turn on. I pull out the battery and this doesn't fix it.

May 3, 2012I have a blackberry torch 9800. I upgraded my AppWorld and rebooted my device, since then its rebooting continuously, I tried after replacing the battery (my friend has a similar phone). Removed the battery for 5hours and tries switching it on. Removed the memory card andtriied everything. Basically the black screen with blackberry logo is turning on, loading till the end and reboots after it loads completely. I don't want to take it to the store any exchange it for a new one, I need THIS phone cuz I have all my data and I have around 120 BBM contacts (I DONT want to lose them).

Sep 19, 2012For at least a day now my phone (Torch 9860) doesn't respond to me switching it on. I have tried taking the battery and sim card out and this makes no difference. I have also attempted to connect it to my computer but it fails to recognize its plugged in. Is there a way I can make it work without having to take it in to the shop?

Jul 15, 2010I have the Torch (9800) OS version: 6.0.0.668.I've had it for just over a year without problems but recently it will freeze to the point where I have to do a battery pull because it won't resolve the issue otherwise. Even then sometimes it doesn't come back on. It will slowly flash red (LED light) and the screen will remain black.It's done this twice where it won't turn back on at all. Eventually it does but the last time it did this, it didn't work for 2 days before coming back on (of it's own accord). I updated the software when it finally came back on as I was told it could be a software issue so I now have the OS version stated at the top of this message as opposed to 6.0.0.600.

I restored it to factory settings, and I got to the part where it says to let your phone restart, but after it did, the iPhone turned off and now it will not turn back on. iTunes cannot see it and I have tried charging it and it does not work. Dec 2, 2014It's my boyfriend's iPhone & we've dropped it plenty of times in the past going on 6 months now, so you can imagine it has plenty of cracks & the back had come off to where we taped it back on. Recently - a few days to a week ago I dropped it & it seemed fine until I tried taking a picture of our cats and the camera opened to a black screen. Everything else works fine except the speaker when we call out we have to put it on speaker for someone to hear us - already tried cleaning out all the ports. I don't want him to go to the iPhone store and have them complain about all the issues wrong with the phone and go extreme bill on him either. Yes I have tried restarting his phone, I just don't want to completely reboot it when it's under his mom's account & her iCloud. & The front facing camera works.

Jul 1, 2014Last week I restored my iphone 5 and I also updated it, it worked normally but the only problem was that battery was dying pretty fast. After charging it I turned it off and after a day when I tried to turn it on again it just didn't want to do that. I thought that battery died, I tried to charge it but there was no signs of charging, I tried turning it on, even pressed home button and power button but nothing was appearing, it was completely dead. Earlier I took it to this store and tried to change the charger and also to check if it was the battery but even after that phone stayed dead. I don't know what could be the problem. I tried everything. I can't turn it on, power-home button is not working obviously, when I try to connect it to itunes it doesn't recognize it at all (like it is not even connected), I tried changing usb and battery and still nothing.

Jun 25, 2012My cousin dropped the phone in front of me while make a phone call. The phone fell on a grass and doens't turn on. I've tried hard reset etc but still doesn't turn on. I then plugged it to the mains and the phone turned on. Its not detecting the battery, service provider, wifi and Bluetooth. Seems like some problem with communication system. When I take the main adaptor off, the phone switchs off. I need my phone bad as all the contacts, phone calls but scared it will take so long to get it replace or serviced.The phone doens't look like its water damaged, something else is wrong with it.

Feb 16, 2011This mobile phone is really suitable only for a garbage tray, it is always freezing and hungiing on, I always need to remove the battery cause the power button doesn't work, and it has really a LOT of bugs, but lets go to the point.
I was recently trying to update the firmware/software of the phone using a the USB cable provided by Nokia (which has a bad electrical contact) and sudenly the connection was lost. I did all the steps recomended by the software updater but now the Nokia E52 simply doesn't even turn on!
It's not possible any hard reset, because the phone doesn't even turn on! I already removed the battery and put it again as nokia tech team is always suggesting people to do..
