I would like to know if it's possible to turn my Torch 9810 into a personal wifi hotspot. I'd like to connect my iPad to the internet using my BB provider (as a "router").

Does the personal hotspot not make my phone wifi? Is it ny to connect other devices to the Internet?

I have 2 IPhone, when the other one not yet update iCloud, I can using shared Wi Fi when Personal Hotspot on, after update I cloud 5.11 now can't shared anymore?I am using the same personal Apple Id for 2 IPhone, is that why I can't share Wi Fi? But I have try to using different Apple Id, but the same can't share Wife?

Instead of the usual Wifi menu in the settings menu, it is replaced by Personal Hotspot which is also greyed out. It is on 5.0.1. It can connect to 3G perfectly fine however.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I turn on the cellular data option the personal hotspot function bar appears with the wording "Personal Hotspot" and the wheel appears and goes around and around forever. If I turn the iPhone off and back on (with cellular data turned on) then the personal hotspot bar appears with the wording "Set up Personal Hotspot" and not wheel spinning. When the wheel is spinning I assume that processing is going on and using battery, not good! By the way I do not use the personal hotspot function.

Plugged the charger in, took the battery out and put it back in, to no avail. The RED LED (left one on top) keeps flashing, first once, then after a short pause 3 more times and then repeats. It crashed twice while booting up, and on the third try the boot-up progress bar stopped 2/3 of the way across the screen and never moved. Then I got a message saying "Error 102, Reload Software." I downloaded Desktop Manager (version 2.3) for my Macbook, but the program wouldn't recognize my BB when it was hooked up with the USB. I tried pulling out the battery, changing USB ports, reinstalling Desktop Manager.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi recently got a torch 9810 used to use bold...the problem i'm having that i didnt have with the bold is i cannot connect through the wifi at home...it tells me i'm connected but under 'service status' blackberry internet service is still using mobile network (carrier)...why its not changing that status where in the bold i could clearly tell that when i turn wifi on it shows under internet service WIFI.I've contacted my carrier (rogers) and they said its blackberry issue If i dont find a solution for this i may have to say good buy to my brand new torch (i just got it litteraly 2days ago )
