BB Curve :: Update Stuck On 7% For The Last 6 Hour

I was told i needed to update my phone (curve 9360) to the latest software. so i did all the necessary things needed, and then it got down to the actually installing, and the screen was said:

it was on this for 4 hours, so i took battery out to restart, when i did turn it back on, it got back to 7% and stopped, i need my phone urgently as i have NO way of contacting anyone - therefore wont be able to go to work, because i cant contact the person who gives me a lift. I cant contact anyone in an emergency. I was expecting an important call which obviously i have missed.

Ok so I start downloading the new update and everything is fine until it gets stuck on verifying for about an hour. I then decided to reboot using the home and off buttons… problem I have now is that it's stuck on the Apple logo and nothing will get rid of it! I've connected to iTunes and it's not seeing the phone…

Using the Desktop Software, I attempted to update my Blackberry Device Software. It has been going for about any hour, and has been stuck at module 428 of 457 for about 50 minutes. It says that if I disconnect or interrupt, my device could be unusable. What should I do?

Attempted the 7.1.2 update. Immediately went to screen to connect to itunes. Tried hard reboot- that did not work. Know phone connected to itunes for a SLOW 5 hour factory reset. Now Im afraid Ill lose everything. WHY did this happen & how do i get my phone back to working condition?

I have a 8900 on AT&T and i am using a iMac computer. I recently updated my desktop software and then it told me i have an update available for my 8900. I went ahead a performed a backup before and then the update started. It failed and the phone is now stuck on a the Blackberry Platform 4.2.0.108. I've had a nokia 5800 for about 6 or 7 months now. when I got the phone I turned on the automatic time update and it kept time really well. Then it got to about november last year and suddenly it jumped ahead 1 hour. Now every morning I have to turn on auto update (since the phone wont keep time without it), let the time update, change the time back one hour and tell it I havn't changed time zones. I live in Perth Western Australia and we dont use daylight savings so I dont know what is going on with it.

I looked at my phone there was an icon saying software update clicked on it done it all then it came up this may take a few hours so I left my phone it's now been 4 hours backing up data and is stuck on 7% for the last 2 hours what do I do? I tried asking the battery out it just goes back to the same thing and same percentage?

Got the new build for the soak test on tuesday, now my extended battery won't stay alive more than 1 hour. It also seems to never really charge anymore. I've tried everything.

My blackberry keeps switching off when it wants to! I replaced both the battery, and the phone and did a security wipe, however, I dont know what the problem is. I charge it and then it only last 2 HOURS MAX!!

Like others, I tried the software update, and then my phone constantly got stuck at the four little circles at start up. I followed some instructions I found on AndroidPit:
1. From a powered off state, press the Power button to start your Nexus 5. When you see the Google logo press and hold the Volume Down key and release when the device vibrates.
2. Use the volume keys to highlight Recovery Menu and press the Power button to select. This will bring you to a screen with an Android on its back.
3. Hold the Volume Up key for 5 secs then release and a new menu will appear.
4. First off, you can use the volume keys to select Wipe Cache Partition. This will cause your phone to restart. once this is done, re-do the previous steps to get back to the same screen (the one that Wipe Cache Partition was on).
5. Highlight Wipe Data/Factory Reset and select using the Power key. Scroll down to Yes, Delete All Data and press the Power button again to select.
6. Your Nexus 5 will now wipe your data and reformat.
7. On the next screen hit the Power button to select Reboot System Now.
It has been 40 minutes now and it's stuck on 'Formatting /data'. Is this normal?
I've only had this phone for a couple of months and it was functioning perfectly until now I haven't rooted it or anything.

I'm updating my BlackBerry Curve 8520 device software version from 4.6.1.272 to 4.6.1.314. I used the BlackBerry Desktop Software and clicked the "Update my device" button in updating my BlackBerry Curve device software version. The process was started last Monday, November 15, 2010 but until now is not yet finish (Thursday, November 18, 2010). Is this normal? I cannot disconnect my device because it said that "During these steps, do not disconnect your device or interrupt this process as it could make your device unusable."

Why does my BB Curve 8530 keep shutting down every half hour or so? And of course, it takes 9 minutes for it to restart so I am missing calls and texts many times a day. Is it a software thing that can be fixed? I am not upgradeable for another 7 months, so I'm stuck with this phone

When syncing my BB to desktop Outlook calendar with new appointments by USB cable, the appointment time on the BB is exactly one hour later than when its scheduled in Outlook. So, an appt for 10:00 am on my desktop shows as 11:00 am on my BB. Its true whether the appt was entered on my BB or in Outlook calendar. I currently use Outlook 2007 on my desktop with Windows XP, have BB Curve 8530 Version 5.0 with Verizon and use BB desktop software version 6.1.0.35.

I'm have a black screen with an hour glass off and on for 2 weeks! Sprint is my service provider and they switched my phone with a refurbished phone with the same problem. I'm wondering why I have to join a forum and not be able to speak with anyone from BB?! Sprint has the worst customer service reps! And as a customer for 10 years with a company that you pay your bill on time, in full, 3 lines, with insurance why I'm being given a used phone?! I'm beyond annoyed and frustrated with this phone and Sprint.

Basically, my phone freezes at least 6/7 times a day, just doing stupid things like loading facebook it'll just cut off completely, and when I leave it it either goes to an error page, or just stays like that for the next half hour or so, until I get annoyed and pull the battery. Lately it's started taking longer and longer to reset after pulling the battery. Yesterday it took me 3/4 of an hour to get it to load, and then it froze again straight away, then it loaded within about half an hour after. Today it took closer to an hour to load up again, it got stuck half way up the loading bar and just stayed there, and just as I was about to try pulling the battery it started moving again.

I connected it to my computer and the desktop software came up and synced the phone and then said that there was a device software update. I clicked to let it update and everything seemed to be fine until it got to right near the end, where it's been stuck for over three hours. I plugged my 9790 into my PC to sync with desktop manager and was offered a software upgrade first. Desktop Manager loaded new software ok. The Device Software update started and the back up went fine. Software seemed to download ok but is now stuck during the install at 'Reconnecting to JVM'. It has been like this for hours. The screen of the 9790 shows the clock although a reminder message came up which I cancelled - now back to the clock. The text in the update window says that the device must not be disconnected during the update process as it might render it unusable.
