Can I pick the time to schedule on my calendar besides clicking on the hour? I have appointments on the half hour and quarter hour. So far, I can only schedule appointments on the hour
View 2 RepliesI have checked the time zones on both my outlook calendar and BB. They are set correctly. If I set an appointment for 8am in Outlook, it displays as 9am on my BB calendar. Also it should be said that my phone automatically syncs via an enterprise server. I do not hardwire my BB to my computer. My BB has accurately sync'd with my computer for over a year until now. I tried changing the option in outlook that "accounts for DST", and that didn't work either.

I love the idea of syncing devices over wifi, but can it be configured so that it will only sync at a certain preset time? For instance, at night when the phone is plugged in?

my previous phone HTC Fuze Windows 6.0 would go to vibrate durring a Scheduled meeting on my calendar does the IPhone supports this as well. I am syncing to our Microsoft Exchange servers if this makes a difference

I have to go to the google calendar website and schedule it from there. My wife has a 4S and she can do it right from iCal on a google calendar.

I have many years of calendar entries that I would like to keep in my Outlook calendar, however, don't want to use up so much space on my BB with the older appointments. I have my sync set up to two-way & to sync all appointments. If I set the "keep appointments" option to anything other than "forever" will it delete the older appointments from my Outlook as well or just on the BB.

I went into the calendar options on the device and told it to keep calendar appointments forever (learned the hard way from a previous Blackberry) and yet when it syncs the calendar it wants to delete appointments older than sixty days everytime I try to sync.
I've looked all over the boards here for options but so far I think I've done everything anyone suggests. I really hope this isn't just something I have to learn to live with or a price to pay for having a Blackberry.We don't use Enterprise Server yet, so my device syncs by plugging it directly into my computer at work.
I was told i needed to update my phone (curve 9360) to the latest software. so i did all the necessary things needed, and then it got down to the actually installing, and the screen was said:

it was on this for 4 hours, so i took battery out to restart, when i did turn it back on, it got back to 7% and stopped, i need my phone urgently as i have NO way of contacting anyone - therefore wont be able to go to work, because i cant contact the person who gives me a lift. I cant contact anyone in an emergency. I was expecting an important call which obviously i have missed.
Just got a Curve 8530 last week (U.S. Cellular). I can't figure out how to show my daily appointments/ calendar on the main screen like my 8330 did.Is there an option for this? or a free theme that does it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen syncing my BB to desktop Outlook calendar with new appointments by USB cable, the appointment time on the BB is exactly one hour later than when its scheduled in Outlook. So, an appt for 10:00 am on my desktop shows as 11:00 am on my BB. Its true whether the appt was entered on my BB or in Outlook calendar. I currently use Outlook 2007 on my desktop with Windows XP, have BB Curve 8530 Version 5.0 with Verizon and use BB desktop software version 6.1.0.35.

I'm wondering why I have to join a forum and not be able to speak with anyone from BB?! Sprint has the worst customer service reps! And as a customer for 10 years with a company that you pay your bill on time, in full, 3 lines, with insurance why I'm being given a used phone?! I'm beyond annoyed and frustrated with this phone and Sprint.
View 1 Replies View RelatedBasically, my phone freezes at least 6/7 times a day, just doing stupid things like loading facebook it'll just cut off completely, and when I leave it it either goes to an error page, or just stays like that for the next half hour or so, until I get annoyed and pull the battery. Lately it's started taking longer and longer to reset after pulling the battery. Yesterday it took me 3/4 of an hour to get it to load, and then it froze again straight away, then it loaded within about half an hour after. Today it took closer to an hour to load up again, it got stuck half way up the loading bar and just stayed there, and just as I was about to try pulling the battery it started moving again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI’ve got a BlackBerry Curve 8900 (ATT, running 4.2.0.108), and have had it since Oct. 2009. Battery life has always been OK - 24 to 48 hrs. between recharges.
Today though, after pulling it off the charger this morning around 8:00 a.m., I’ve noticed that I’m down to about 5% charge by 2:30 p.m. I have made no phone calls today, and have only sent/received a couple texts and rec’d two emails. I've never used a holster, have downloaded no apps, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are both off. No keys appear to be sticking. Absolutely nothing, to my knowledge, of any significance has changed on the phone since October, yet all of a sudden --literally, overnight --I am experiencing this greatly diminished battery life. The only even remotely precipitating factor I can think of is that I did a battery pull yesterday, after deleting some old photos and emails.
I’ve searched the forum, and most of the suggestions are along the lines of “turn off bluetooth/wi-fi/update OS,” but as noted, I never used those anyhow, and the OS has always been good to me.
I synced my phone with my work calendar and since then the phone likes to wake me up extra early with reminders about things happening that day.This is driving me crazy - How do I get rid of all the appointments?I've tried options/ delete - but it will only let me delete the ones in the past.I've tried changing the date on the phone and deleting them - and it says it's done it but the appointments are still there.

This is a very serious situation because I need to refer back to my calendar and look at past appointments. I checked my sync settings and I have it set that my phone overrides my Outlook calendar and on my phone I have it set to save appointments forever.
