I have a new BlackBerry. I am trying to get into the BlackBerry app world to dync my phone but it displays a message that the radio is not turned on and so forth can not connect. But how do you turn the radio on ?
View 1 RepliesI can't seem to download the BB App World in my phone. Whenever I try to download it, it only says that downloads via USB connection are not enabled for this product. It goes the same whenever i try to dowbload it straight from my phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 9360 and I go though t-mobile. I have been trying to download the latest update to BBM and it won't download. I click on the "upgrade" button, it says please wait, then nothing. It does the same for the app world update. I've spoken to my carrier and they say it's something on rim's side that they can't fix. Everything else on the phone is working just fine.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI unlock a blackberry 8830 verizon wireless World Edition celluar phone to be used with GSM but after unlcoking i install the sim card and then change the mode from global to GSM only but the phone has no Signal at all, do any of you a solution to this problem ?if i change the mode to global the phone has signal and the sim card that i am putting in there is acxtivated and properly working.

I have had a new blackberry email set up by Orange and it allows me to sign in on my desktop but not via my phone, i just get the error message "unable to log into blackberry app world" .. ive tried reseting the password, even downloading apps via the computer but nothing works.

I've tried the option of setting via the Advanced Options > TCP/IP > APN and ticking the APN box and typing "Internet", and my App World still gives me the same error message, I rebooted my phone after the setting and tried to access the app world, still got an error message, i tried it without rebooting and the results are still the same. What do I do now?

Thankfully I was able to find most of the apps I downloaded in the download folder, but one of them reset and I don't have the activation code or the record that I bought that particular app since my world has no record of it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. The app is not showing up in the "My World" as downloaded. But when I go to re-download the "Score Mobile" app, it does not give me the option to download it. The download button does not come up for this app on my phone. I was wondering how to fix this and be able to download the app. I have a BB Curve 9380.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a 8530 with OS5 and a couple hours ago I was prompted about the App World 3.1 update. I happily did the update but after the reboot I got this error:
"Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError" And I get the same error every time I try to run App World. I have tried uninstalling App World and re-installing, Wipe the phone and install before restoring from my back up and I get the same error.So here I am now with an empty phone and no working App World to get my apps back.
When I first purchased my 8530 the app world was working fine. Suddenly it quit working and no matter what I try to download it tells me that it's not available from the app world.

And bb app world works WITH wi fi. But when I try to access bb app world without wifi the following message comes up " you are currently on a service plan that requires wifi connection to use this application. If you want to use this application outside of wifi please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan" . A similar message about data plan appears when trying to access the facebook app at any pointI phoned vodafone and they said everything was fine at their end and I have all the correct data plan and bb services and keep directing me here.

After doing so evertime i click on an app in Black Berry App world and choose download, I always get the anoying LONG Disclaimer page that i have to scroll for God knows how long! and then when i choose accept, NOTHING happens. The Please wait sign dissapears instantly and and nothing comes up. Nothing!
It happens with any app i try to download. Also , same exact thing happens when i click on MyAppWorld. I know i am logged in and my account is good because i can go and change my payment options without a problem
