I have connected my 8520 to my computer and deleted "profile" and "sounds" from the database with no luck. How can I reset profiles to default settings without restoring factory settings to the phone?

I have 7 email accounts coming in and I just wiped my BB clean. Will have have to go an individually tweak all 7 accounts?
I deleted all sms on my blackberry I know blackberry have database and good programmer don't delete data in database. i mean data have some fields to mark deleted and this marked data not listed.Is there any way to restore sms ? Edit: Any way to restore sms from simcard? Pls give me change. We are human we can make mistake. I want my sms back.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my Blackberry Torch yesterday and I cannot access any sound notification functions except changing the ringtone. I can access the "Sound and Alert Profiles" via the Homescreen icon but when I then click the "Sounds for Selected Profile" banner nothing happens. As a result I cannot activate audio notifications for Blackberry messenger, emails or smss.

I downloaded ringtones from crackberry a couple hours ago and now my ringers won't work and when I try to play ringtones in the media application it won't let me play them. I tried going through the profiles to make sure they weren't muted or off and nothing is working. I had the exact same problem less than 24 hours ago and the cell phone place just gave me a new phone because they couldn't figure it out either. If I could get some kind of direction as to what I need to do I would appreciate it greatly.

I have set the rintone as the same for all profiles (Classic phone), and sometimes that ringtone plays, but not always for every contact.
