Is there a way to set default values for all email accounts/IM applications in a profile? Instead of going and adding the notifying sounds for each email account?
I have 7 email accounts coming in and I just wiped my BB clean. Will have have to go an individually tweak all 7 accounts?
I downloaded ringtones from crackberry a couple hours ago and now my ringers won't work and when I try to play ringtones in the media application it won't let me play them. I tried going through the profiles to make sure they weren't muted or off and nothing is working. I had the exact same problem less than 24 hours ago and the cell phone place just gave me a new phone because they couldn't figure it out either. If I could get some kind of direction as to what I need to do I would appreciate it greatly.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIm not getting any sounds from anything on my phone. That includes: Phone calls...SMS...MMS....EMAIL...MUSIC...ALARM (Profile always on LOUD). Some days my phone will work and some days not. Ive seen some people say to just "Pull the battery" but that fixes it for the time being, doesnt solve the solution. Isn't the answer for everything! lol. My biggest concern is I use my alarm to get up of a morning on my BB, and now with profile set on "Loud" still doesn't ring. Is anyone having problems with this sence the OS 4.5 update? When I click on my songs...ALL SONGS...a message always pops up and says: (Error Playing: Device Media, Processor is busy). Now all of this has worked fine up till about 2 weeks ago. Thats what I dont understand, my update to 4.5 was over a month ago... And ive also gotten the message: Uncaught Exception, thread is not ready...something like that. I mean I love this phone but it has caused me a lot of problems! And when you pay this much for a phone, should not have to just settle with "Do a battery pull 3 times a day".
View 14 Replies View Relatedhave a friend who just got a replacement 8330 because she wasnt getting a alert sound when a new message was coming in. we did a total replacement of all apps and settings of the old to the new phone and all was good. well today the same thing happened to the new phone. i suggested it was a bad app but she said she hasent down loaded anything (oh this started a month ago) well i know she has down loaded apps but bla bla bla. when she does a batt pull all alert sounds work but after a while this starts up again, any suggestions or has this happened to anybody?

I only see outlook mail, but I do not see my other email accounts listed. In my old Lumia 920 all of my email accounts are listed under the manage app sounds tab. How I can create notifications sounds for each of my email accounts?

I can access the "Sound and Alert Profiles" via the Homescreen icon but when I then click the "Sounds for Selected Profile" banner nothing happens. As a result I cannot activate audio notifications for Blackberry messenger, emails or smss.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got the new BB Curve 3G with OS6 and when I scroll to the clock, on the home screen, and enter the manage connections window from there...as I start scrolling down the blue highlight would disappear or it would complete freeze sometimes.
I've tried:
- Closing my applications.
- Battery reboot.
- Looking for an update (there is none).
- Exchanged the phone.
I want to find the Manage Internet Email icon that is in the setup menu, This icon is no there. I all ready use the function of "show all icon" and still is no there. What i can do? I have blackberry 8900 with ATT carrier, dont have blackberry plan, only have unlimited data plan.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi had OS 5.0.0.5 and yesterday i decided to update it to .822 so i could put Hybrid Willyboy v.2 on my phone ( by the way i have a 8520 Gemini). I did manage to update it to version .822 and at first i didnt notice anything wrong with my phone, so i tried to put the hybrid on it but since i didnt manage to put the hybrid on my first try, i decided to give it a shot in the morning and go to bed since it was really late. And now i cant make calls nor get any, because it says Invalid SIM Card, already tried taking off the battery and cleaning a bit my sim with an eraser but when the phone starts it all appears to be fine but within a couple of minutes it gives me the same error!!

I have set the rintone as the same for all profiles (Classic phone), and sometimes that ringtone plays, but not always for every contact. Sometimes the phone plays 'Spirit' instead, and I have noticed that if I edit any of my contacts (that have not had a special ringtone given to it), the ringtone is 'Spirit', so what should a contact show in the ringtone selection part, if no special ringtone has been selected by me.

Mine was default settings which was medium & just a minute ago I didn't even noticed that my mom called (I was watching glee with the volume up loud & my phone right next to my laptop) SOOO.
