When trying to connect to the internet get "Unable to connect to internet. Please try again later. If the problem persists please contactr your service provider"
I have a curve 8330. If my phone is not connected to any BES server, do I have to specify my TCP settings under advanced options in order to connect to the internet? Or will it connect without the APN information set?

I was wondering if there's a way to make sure that my phone ( Curve 8900 ) is not connected to the internet.
I hit the back button multiple times and close the '' window '' if I may call it a window. So I was wondering if this is the right way. Also, I can't find where I can sign out from my Email ( Hotmail ) so I do the same
I recently got a new bb curve 8900 and I am having trouble connecting it to my home wireless internet. It worked like a charm the first day I got it, but now I can't get it to connect. Coverage is spotty where I live, so I need to connect to the internet to get calls and what no. I have the required data plan, so I am unsure as to why it stopped working.
I am using nokia 5800 which supports hsdpa upto 3.6 mbps.but when i connect to the pc via usb the modem is showing max link speed of 921.6 kbps.So my Q is if the 3.5g network supports 3.6 mbps the how much speed can i get using my pc?
I bought my x6 today, and thought it was a great little phone. I haven't had any of the usb problems that people have, but it just insists on connecting to the internet. I set the phone to receive my emails on a whim and mostly for the novelty, and about 5 minutes after closing it, I noticed it was still connected. I tried exiting it through all the various different menu screens, but it wouldn't go away.
Eventually, I deleted the mailbox, but it was still connected. I then took to holding the hang up button to make it disconnect, which I thought was a success, only to find out it's connected its self again a minute later. I'm on t-mobile, and it's connecting to the packet data "T-mobile internet" access point, or at least the little 3G icon is always up. I've just tried setting it to "always ask", and it does it any way.
just now i go update the latest version with ios 5.1.1 after completed download but now when i put in sim card there is show no service and cannot switch to mainpage also.
I had to re set my home router as it would not connect to internet, now my iphone 3g 16g has lost the wifi settings, ive gone into settings and reset twice now and tried to enter the wifi code that i have here, but its still not connecting to the wifi. it keeps using 3G.
I have problem for connecting N79 to PC I use OVI Suite version 2.2.0.245. when i connect PC to internet via OVI suite for first time , there isnt any problem and connects to internet and all webpages completely are loaded , but after a few minutes my browser doesnt work and doesnt load any page and shows " server not found". but the connection between the PC and mobile still exists. after that i disconnect the connection and reconnect but this time the connection doesnt establish and shows an error with the content of "PPP link". after that i go to "device manager" and disable the Nokia GSM Modem and then enable that. then i connect PC to internet via OVI Suite with no problem AGAIN!. there isnt any problem for loading page But AGAIN after some minutes the browser doesnt work ! recently I reinstalled windows XP, but still nothing changes!. even i use latest Nokia Connectivity cable driver version 7.1.31.0. my cellphone has RM-348
My phone will connect to my WLAN at home for no apparent reason (as in I'm not using the any application which requires interweb) and when I get annoyed and disconnect from that because it is just EATING my battery it think "Jesus there's no internet connection" panics then connects via gprs or whatever. Now I turned off the email program because it is eating my battery constantly being connected and am having to charge it every night! But is there any way of making it so that it only connects when the program is open? Any thoughts?
I got this new phone a couple of weeks ago on PAYG,My money was disappearing fast, when I looked at the phone it either had a G in the top corner or an E.I've set the phone to ask before connecting to the internet, but this still doesn't seem to work.I've got facebook and email on my home screen,When i do go onto the internet the phone asks me to connect, even though it has and E or G in the top let corner.
My C7 keeps connecting to the internet several times a day, before it closes the connection it plays a notification sound the same as when new email has been received and closes the connection, no other notifications are visible. I have several email accounts set up on the phone but automatic synchronization is turned off on all of them. I checked everything I could think of like other applications running in the background but could find nothing.
I tried steps given in manual and websites but failed. First it tries to connect with Vodafone network but then after sometime it says "Failed"..In Nokia Device indication showz it is connecting to internet as it does without PC..but does not get connected.i have taken Vodafone mobile connect package and after disconnecting it showz some data transfer but in PC no it always says Connect failed...and when i try to connect second time it says..Sim Card Missing..i have updated all Nokia Suite and Nokia Device software and i have purchased it in Sep 2011 with 5 megapixel camera.
since im not connected to wifi and got no mobile data i always see this message at the top of my screen "Connection Failed: connection unavailable " for every 3 secs or so. i suspect i installed this anti-theft stuff that went hide and i cant see it anywhere anymore. noteven on list of installed applications.
I was using Windows XP Pro 32bit until recently and never had any problems connecting tot he internet with my N8. Recently I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I can still connect to the internet without any problems, but the problem I have is that the internet is "slow", although I have a 3.5G connection.
I have watched the "status" of my connection and I can see that what happens is that some data will come through, and then nothing will happen for a while, and then some data will go through again. So it's a kind of intermittent connection. This is super annoying, and it's hard to google this problem.
I also have a Nokia N82 and that doesn't give me the same problem, but i don't want to swap my simcard each time I want to use the internet.

After updating it to v40 in November, every single day the phone connects to the internet via 3G/GPRS. At first i didn't noticed it was doing that, just after a month i discoved it. It connects 2 or 3 times every 12hours.I managed to stop it by changing the access point options to ask user name and password, and every time it tries to connect i cancel it.The apps i have are the same i had before the firmware update and the phone didn't behave like it's behaving now.
After updating it to v40 months ago in November, every single day the phone connects to the internet via 3G/GPRS. At first i didn't noticed it was doing that, but after a month i discoved it when i was brwosing the Log. It connects 2 or 3 times a day without even asking me!I managed to stop it by changing the access point options to ask user name and password, and every time it tries to connect i cancel it. But doing that everyday since November it's getting on my nerves. The apps i have now are the same i had before the firmware update and the phone didn't behave like that. What the hell is going on?Also, when i turn on the phone there's an annoying "Nokia account" pop-up asking for my password and a "sign in automatic" option. The only thing i've done was updating the firmware to v40. Nothing more.
I've recently upgraded my phone to the Blackberry 9700 (my first BB so I'm completely clueless) and received it yesterday.I also changed my plan to allow internet access.
I registered my phone and was told to turn it off for 2 hours so they can update the sim and everything, which I did. I then turned it on and I can make calls, send texts and all of that, but when I try to access the internet it says 'This is a Wi-Fi service. Please ensure your device has an active Wi-Fi connection and try again'? I'm taking a guess here, but I think this may be because they haven't updated my plan yet?
Also, I went on the browser whilst connected to Wi-Fi, tried to download the app world and it said something along the lines of 'Sorry your device does not meet the system requirements require'. What's going on?
I upgraded to the OS4 software and now my phone wont connect to the internet (3g or wifi. I called att and still nothing. what could this be? everything was working normal before the upgrade
I've had the Bold BB 9900 for a year now and everything has worked great. It has now not been connecting to the internet for the past day and I don't know what has happened.
It is showing GPRS so it should be connecting.
I've clicked 'register now' for the host routing and it got back saying bb has been registered with wireless network. I've tried taking the battery out which hasn't worked either.
i got a blackberry tour passed down to me and after doing the security wipe i wasnt able to access the internet, bbm, facebook. i have gone to my network provider and they couldnt fix it. the host routing table is empty and when i register it it say the message has being sent and still nothing happens.
