Apr 9, 2012All of a sudden my phone won't delete messages from my mailbox. It marks it as deleted and adds a 0 messages to the email itself, but continues to show it there and continues to show it up top as unread messages.

Jun 5, 2011I have a company owned Blackberry Curve 8530. I cannot open the mailbox to retrieve my messages. I know I have messages becuase the message icon and the light is blinking but whenever I click on the mailbox to open it, all I see is a blue banner saying that i have no messages. With the mailbox open, all I see above the box is SMS. At the very top is the battery indicator, then the time, unopened message count and the signal strength.

Mar 29, 2010I have a new 8530 and even though I select "Delete on mailbox and Handheld" every time I delete an email, it only will delete it on the Blackberry. Reverse is also true, when I delete email on my laptop the emails do not delete on Blackberry (not sure if this is even an option).This happens on both my gmail account and my comcast account.

Jan 23, 2010When you want to delete an email, you usually get the 'Delete From Handheld & Mailbox', 'Delete From Handheld', or Cancel. All I get now is Delete or Cancel. My email reconciliation is set to delete on prompt, wireless reconcile is on, and on conflicts is set to mailbox wins. However, I am not being prompted. What is confusing is that on some emails it asks and on others it is not asking. I tried battery pulls, deleting and readding the email address. I only have a personal email and not business.

Oct 4, 2011i have just updated the o/s on my blackberry curve today (v5.0.0.681).i have a work exchange email, and i have also added my personal mail account via Setup / Email Settings - the new additional mail address is visible, and i have received an email from the Activation Server confirming, i am also receiving mails from both email addresses.the issue is that the icon for the extra mailbox is not appearing on the home screen, or in any of the folders (up until the o/s upgrade i had no issues and it was always visible) I have taken the battery in and out - any other suggestions?

I assume Mailbox means my desktop computer at home which is a Mac, but when I select Mailbox and Handheld for delete, it only deletes from Handheld and NOT from Mailbox. It looks like all my words are light grey instead of black, the photo's look like there faded out...they arn't though bc I've posted some of my photo's on FB and they are normal colored. Texts are too light to read unless I scroll over them.

Sep 9, 2010A friend gave me their old Blackberry but it was used for his work email and was set up with a password just to access the phone. He doesn't remember the password. I put a new sim card in, but is still asking for the password. We tried 4 different ones. On the 5th it warns you that your program will be deleted. We haven't tried the 5th password. It we do will it erase information in the sim card?
Is there a way to clear everything out of memory and reset the Blackberry to it original defalut settings.I tried pulling out the battery with the phone on, but that doesn't do any good.

It keeps on receiving mails w/o contents, sender, and it would show some weird sent date (ie: 12/31/00). And it will not let me delete it. But when I go to "All Mail" then come back to Inbox, those unknown mails would disappear.
Does this happen to you guys?
