BB Curve :: Cannot Open The Mailbox To Retrieve Messages
Jun 5, 2011
I have a company owned Blackberry Curve 8530. I cannot open the mailbox to retrieve my messages. I know I have messages becuase the message icon and the light is blinking but whenever I click on the mailbox to open it, all I see is a blue banner saying that i have no messages. With the mailbox open, all I see above the box is SMS. At the very top is the battery indicator, then the time, unopened message count and the signal strength.
All of a sudden my phone won't delete messages from my mailbox. It marks it as deleted and adds a 0 messages to the email itself, but continues to show it there and continues to show it up top as unread messages.
I have BB Curve 8530 with two different email addresses going to my phone. One provider's emails will delete in my online mailbox, but the other will not.I don't want to have to delete emails twice, from BB and online.
I need to retrieve some sent messages, but when I go to view folder, it only shows the oldest message and I can't find any way to view more recent ones.
Yesterday I downloaded the 'crunchSMS' app, and enabled the firewall so that my texts would be redirected to the app. After trying the app I decided I didn't like it after all and uninstalled it so that i could go back to using the normal texting function on the blackberry. However, I forget to disable the firewall until just now, and when I did so it said there have been 8 text messages blocked by the firewall. When I disabled it, these texts did not reappear. A couple of them could be important and I could do with reading them - does anyone know how I can access these blocked messages?
I lost my BB yesterday. I need to know is there any way I can retrieve my contacts and my messages from BB service. I recall having subscribed to this auto saving. It would be a great help if someone can help me and guide me on this. For obvious reasons I have deactivated my old SIM and got a new one fixed from the service provider. However those jokers VODOFONE staff have no clue how to retrieve my contact details from BB service.
all of a sudden i cannot check my voice mail i call voice mail and it tells me that your call can not be completed as dialed check number and call again
I use Sprint and everytime I miss a call the Messages icon appears and does not disappear until I open the messages folder and open the missed call message. This is incredibly annoying for me, as I usually just press the send key and see what calls I have missed. Doing this does not clear the messages icon or notification.
I really dont need missed calls sent to Messages, the only reason I ever use the Messages folder is to clear the icon from my screen. Can anyone help me either disable this icon or alter what is sent to Messages?
Got a brand new Blackberry Curve a few days ago and have been able to use BBM but now messages I get I can't open and I can't start up new chats. It won't let me open them, I can scroll over them but not when I click to open them nothing happens.
I just linked my BlackBerry 9000 with my Hotmail email account and it's working fine, meaning I am getting my emails pushed to my BlackBerry. Only problem is, it is not sending me all my old emails sat in my mail box, Is there any way to push all those emails in my mail box to my BlackBerry from Hotmail?
I have been using bbm with a contact for some time and suddenly I cannot open any messages or send any new ones to this contact. I have deleted and re-invited the Contact, messages arrive but I cannot open them and reply.
I am unable to open text messages.I can see them arrive and read the first line in the message list, but cannot open them.I have tried all the options that are offered on the little dot dot dot key, and get the same result.I also took out the battery and rebooted the thing. It worked the first day I had my 8530, but now it doesn't.
I used to be able to see a combined list of my emails, SMS texts, missed phone calls, voicemails and just about anything else when I opened the Message folder icon on my Blackberry Curve 8330 desktop, but now when I open it, all I get is a blank white screen. When I hit the menu button, the menu pops up without a problem and if I click the track ball, it will open a message, but I can't see the list itself. Also, when I go to view folder I can access any of the individual folders and they come up just fine. The only problem is the combined message list you're supposed to get when you open up the icon on the desktop (or application menu).
I am trying to add a second exchange mailbox to a Curve 9370. I read a post from last year stating that this is not possible without using a Blackberry Exchange Server.
How do I add my mailbox to the Blackberry Enterprise Server?
I am trying to get my Outlook email on my phone, and when I go to Device Options, under Enterprise Email, it says that Enterprise email services are currently unavailable because my administrator has not added my mailbox to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
I have been trying to restore my earlier BBM messages through Desktop. Instead it wiped out my existing messages. I back up all messages on desktop when I sync contacts. So I am sure all my BBM messages are somewhere in the back up.
I downloaded a FB upgrade, declined to reboot now, and now I can't retrieve FB messages, or text or call any FB contact and the menu popup will not open on FB. There is no "option" icon in my applications folder for whatever reason.
I am receiving mails, the red action comes on the mailbox, but when I open my mailbox I don't see my mails. I just changed my battery today. Is this because I changed my battery.
I have a question regarding Past BBM messages. Can I recover or retrieve my past messages from my service provider? I share My AT&T& account with my business partner. As in our numbers are in the company name though we use different numbers and handsets. I am tensed if she tries to read my personal messages and bbms. I have looked around online but failed to get any reliable answer.
