I just linked my BlackBerry 9000 with my Hotmail email account and it's working fine, meaning I am getting my emails pushed to my BlackBerry. Only problem is, it is not sending me all my old emails sat in my mail box, Is there any way to push all those emails in my mail box to my BlackBerry from Hotmail?

View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I open an email on the BB and read it, it shows as being read on my PC, when I open email in outlook, it still shows unread on BB. Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? I would like to see the messages as read on my BB so I don't have to keep opening emails that I have already read.

I have 2 email accounts set up on my bold.. Now just last night i noticed that on one of the emails, if i send an email from this specific account, it doesn't come up with the message i sent with the tick next to it.
In my 2nd account it works fine.I have re-sent the service books etc. I have checked all the options in the email settings and they are all the same.
I have a BOLD 9000 that I've had for somewhat over a year now. I simply use BIS through my carrier (Rogers Wireless) and have configured 3 email accounts (One @rogers.blackberry.net, and 2 POP based)
One of the POP accounts I have desktop access to as well through Outlook so I have an ongoing history of email messages for that account. The other POP account I don't have web access for and there are some very old emails in this account database on the BB that I've collected.
I know you can use the Desktop Mgr to backup selected databases, however, once the emails "Messages" database is backed up, is there a way to view these emails on my desktop? The file format seems proprietary to BlackBerry tho. There's no way I can import this into a Personal Information Manager (PIM) to view the backed up messages for archiving and revisiting is there?
Rogers Blackberry technical support has tried everything and they are now telling me it's a hardware issue, and I need to pay full price for a new phone because my warranty has expired. I don't think it's a hardware issue. I will explain. A few days ago I installed Blackberry Desktop Manager 5.0.1 on my new computer. After connecting the Bold to my new computer, Blackberry Desktop Manager stated that a few of my applications are old and upgrades are recommended and therefore I upgraded. One of these upgrades included an upgrade to my operating system (to version 4.6.0.303).
After installing and re-booting, the smartphone did not work the same. I was able to use the phone, text message, and internet (rogers mall website directly and not search engine like before) but I could no longer set up e-mail, and PIN messages. I contacted Rogers Blackberry technical customer and we re-boot several times...did not work, then re-installed the operating system several times...did not work. I also checked Host Routing Table, and it was empty (as per technical support there should be a log of files). I tried to register and nothing changed. The only other change that I noticed is next to the 3G characters, there used to be a blackberry logo (4 dots), and now it's gone. I only see 3G.
I just got a new crackberry and found out that I can't sync with my work outlook email and calendar b/c it's on an exchange server. Is there a way around this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter I set the date of my BB Bold 9000 to 6 July 2015 I lost all previously received email messages and text messages. It is amazing that this can happen without any warning. This is definitely not the first time I'm loosing all my data. It's so frustrating that I'm considering strongly to leave BlackBerry and switch to another make.Also a helpdesk you can call to and speak to a real person seems to be not in place at BlackBerry. Maybe they hate customers?

I have added my personal Yahoo email to it and I now have 2 mail icons - one for Messages and the other for Yahoo.When I get an email on my yahoo email address it also appears in my main messages email box as well. I want to keep the 2 sets of emails separate so that it is 100% clear what is business and what is personal (Yahoo).I know it must be possible to keep them in separate mailboxes but cannot for the life of me work out how.

Now when I delete mails from my mail box from the PC, these mails should also, simultaneously, get deleted from the BB--- correct? This is not happening(was happening on my last BB). The BB keeps accumulating the mail and I have to delete them using the BB delete option. I have gone to EDIT option on my set up email setting and in the Sync options have ticked the DELETE option---- no success. As a result BB gets flooded with 100s of mail. What do I need to do to have the BB mails deleting simultaneously when they are deleted from the same mail box, from my PC....

I can delete the email from my blackberry but it does not give me the option to delete the email on my mailbox and handheld like most emails I get - becuase it bypasses my mailbox.
Is there a fix for this or am I stuck getting these emails for the rest of the blackberries life?
All of a sudden my phone won't delete messages from my mailbox. It marks it as deleted and adds a 0 messages to the email itself, but continues to show it there and continues to show it up top as unread messages.

View 6 Replies View RelatedFirst week vibration. OK, I'll survive. Hope they will fix that. But I have major problem with mail setup. I tried with push mail (accepting TOS from nokia) and pull (declining TOS from nokia), but created mailboxes never sync properly. There is no automatic sync. Tried with hard restart and reinstalling the software, but nothing, it wont auto sync mailboxes. I have to check mail manually. And today Nokia e6 don't accept lock code which is accurate and worked fine for 1 month since I change it. It just refuse to accept and restart when I put lock code.

I know I have messages becuase the message icon and the light is blinking but whenever I click on the mailbox to open it, all I see is a blue banner saying that i have no messages. With the mailbox open, all I see above the box is SMS. At the very top is the battery indicator, then the time, unopened message count and the signal strength.

I'm trying Settings->Application->Messaging->SyncEmail but after completing all the steps nothing happens. I've read about RoadSync but I don't have it on my phone (got it from Vodafone Italy), and it doesn't seem fair to have to pay for something I definitely expect a smartphone to be able to do for free. Is there any step-by-step guide on how to set up an "activesync" mailbox on the Vivaz Pro?
I am considering the N97 mini. Can it sync with email messages & calender with Outlook 2003? I have looked everywhere & not definately found whether it can or not. I'm after similar sync as I can do with Windows Mobile platform.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have set my company email using IMAP set up and whenever I send email from my phone a copy of the email sent is saved in the default 'Sent Items' folder. I tried selecting one of these sent email and used 'Move' option to move the email. When I click Move it shows a screen where it says 'no data'. FYI I have already updated my Server side folder list but I do not see my server side folder listed in the Move page. I am not sure if this is an issue or am I missing something?

my BB: 9900 OS: 7.1 Bundle 1424 using BB Businese Cloud Service for connecting my Microsoft 365 email.I have problem after upgraded my BB 9900 OS from 7.0 to 7.1 since 14 June.
Once I active my email in BB after upgrade to OS 7.1.The email send/receive is ok after active, but the email in my mailbox which older than activation time, never download to my BB.Besides, the delete folder never sync with my mailbox, always empty, which my mailbox have many deleted email in delete folder.
And the send/receive of my BB is very unstable in my BB last few days, it will delay receive and fail to send, need resend again and again, I checked with local mobile service provider.They confirmed nothing wrong with their network, the problem only happen in BB Cloud service.

my calender is using the wrong email address when I send invites. and I don't seems to be able to change my default email mailbox after upgrading to belle.
I had my official mailbox set up on E72 and recently i removed the mailbox due to issues with sync. Mailbox got removed without any issues, however when i click on email one touch key, it still goes to the old mailbox & asks for pwd for connecting. Shudn't removing mailbox clean up everything? I also see this old mailbox name appear under email>global settings>homescreen>. This is strange and annoying. Is there a way i can clean up old mailbox w/o doing hard reset?

Connected where and how the mailbox can be deleted? There are lots of discussion of same problem but no solution (=factory reset is not solution).
I have a new 8530 and even though I select "Delete on mailbox and Handheld" every time I delete an email, it only will delete it on the Blackberry. Reverse is also true, when I delete email on my laptop the emails do not delete on Blackberry (not sure if this is even an option).This happens on both my gmail account and my comcast account.

I assume Mailbox means my desktop computer at home which is a Mac, but when I select Mailbox and Handheld for delete, it only deletes from Handheld and NOT from Mailbox. Current OS is 4.6.0.304, I'm on AT&T.
I performed a Sync using Blackberry Desktop and now the Bold 9000 is "dead". The battery was fully charged prior to the sync and the unit was working properly. Following the sync the unit display went blank and the unit will not turn on. I have removed the battery and replaced it with another known fully charged battery and I stll cannot get a system boot sequence to start. I have attempted to re-insert the sync cable and connect to the computer but the unit is still dead.I have also tried the charging cable but to no avail.
