BB Curve :: Cannot Activate Internet?

I was in with o2 today as I have the o2 unlimited plan with the internet bolt on...the guy in the o2 shop updated my ph to a newer version as the internet was a bit slow...he told me when i got home to update my ph through the disc that came with the ph as this would update everything and give me a btr service and also to make sure that I hit back up before i hit update...I did all that however just as the update finished it said "not all could be updated & some files may have been lost". I checked my ph and almost everthing was gone I synced my ph again and found a restore so I did that and my yahoo and facebook did not update. I have tried the internet and it is not working...I have checked my services status and its telling me that blackberry internet service and blackberry enterprise server is not
