Email Account activation only allows enterprise account to be created. I do not want or have an enterprise account. How can I active my personal email accounts? I want to remove the activation of enterprise account.

I have a Curve 8310, it was with AT&T, but had it unlocked to use with T-Mobile.
When I go through the Set-up Wizard, when I get to Email Set-up, it doesn't give me the option to set up personal email. It only has "Set-up work email through Blackberry Enterprise Service" OR "I want to skip email setup."
I have a data package with T-mobile and the Blackberry Internet package too, so not sure what's going on.
I want to set-up a personal email account.unfortunately, I only have one option in my bbcurve 8520....And that is: I want to use my work email from blackberry enterprise server.

I have gone to advanced options and gone to HRT and have sent away for registration as suggested on another page, but I have received no confirmation the message was sent, and I am still unable to access email. I'm still on the Setup main page and nothing has happened. Sometimes, it will take me to the next page, with the two options: internet mail account or enterprise account. Click on internet mail account. It does nothing. Or takes me back to the main Setup page.

A screen requesting user name and password comes up to access e-mail settings. I don't know my user name or password. I've tried various times and sometimes it comes up saying that my password is being sent to my device but I can't find where/how. In the midst of this I've had a crash and then I updated but it is still the same except my e-mail accounts are no longer sending or receiving. View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my first BlackBerry (Curve 3G 9300) on Friday and tried to setup a personal email account on the phone via the setup wizard earlier today.The phone said that an update to 6.11...... was needed in order to do this. I let it update, now the phone is just hanging after starting up. If I do a start up after removing the battery it comes up with a black screen with the BlackBerry logo and a progress bar below it. The progress bar moves along until the end, this takes around a minute. It then shows something like a little clock over the logo for about a second. Once this disappears the phone says with the logo and the completed progress bar - and just hangs there.

So I bought an unlocked (so it's free to insert whatever carrier I choose) Blackberry, Indonesian version few months ago and went to the USA. Here, I was given an AT&T number, permanent number from a family plan, and I wanted to set up an email account. However, when I got to the Setup > Email Accounts, I was only given two email options, both of them were supposed to be the email accounts of the previous user of my permanent number right now. I was confused since I cannot add nor erase the email accounts which are not mine, and when I went to to blackberry site to activate my blackberry email accounts online, the site just keep on posting error messages.. I logged on to the AT&T site and found nothing that can change the email account setup for my blackberry.

When I try moving my old email account it says to put my email password in. I put the right password in and when I press activate it says 'Sorry, unable to continue your session.
