IPhone :: When I Call People On 4 People Can't Hear Me
Apr 22, 2012I'm not sure why this is and i have tried pretty much everything. people can only hear me when i have my phone on speaker phone.. i cant afford a new iphone since they are like $600 without an upgrade.

A few of them that have blackberry's (both older and newer models) have tried to solve the problem in my phone and it seems like my phone is missing something perhaps? One said I don't have any applications. I tried downloading the latest software and it says I am up to date.

May 15, 2012When I answer it says it's on speaker but I can't hear a thing and the people on the other end can't hear me either. I can still text and everything but just not call. I've tried everything I can think of like updating it and I've even taken it into a telstra shop and replaced the sim but I still have the same problem.

Jul 3, 2010I have a Z5 Dual. Others have mentioned to me that they have a hard time understanding me when I'm on the phone with them, so I did some tests. The thing is, if I hold the phone as close to my face as possible, the audio quality on the receiving side is okay. However, if the phone is away from my cheek even just a centimeter or so, audio degrades very quickly. The impression is that the sound gets quieter, as well as cutting out occasionally. I know what this kind of thing sounds like and I'm pretty sure this is some kind of suppression mechanism running wild. I searched, and for lots of previous Xperia Z... models there are recommendations on these same forums to switch off the call option for noise suppression, but the Z5 doesn't have that option anymore.
What can I do? For the time being, I have that workaround of pressing the phone to my face as best I can, but this is not comfortable, especially since I also have a beard. I can't quite believe that the noise suppression mechanism should really overreact like this... any way of configuring this at all?

Nov 23, 2015I just upgraded from a Lumia 920 to a 950. I did a full restore from my backup. Facebook, Twitter and Skype contacts show up fine in the People Hub contacts - but unfortunately LinkedIn is no longer there. When I go to settings in the LinkedIn app and hit "Sync Contacts" - it takes me to the email and accounts setting on my 950, but there is no LinkedIn account to add.
