i'm looking for an app that will allow me to text up to 15 people and using more than 160 characters. Can any of you help me find such a program or app?

View 7 Replies View RelatedA friend of mine JUST got a replacement BBerry Curve 8330 (US Cellular) after her last one bit the dust. She got it two days ago, and from the get-go, when she types, particularly in Blackberry Messenger, it types the words backwards and changes the letters to weird characters. It doesn't do it all the time. She brought it over and I updated the software for her, and we did a battery pull, but it didn't fix it.

None of them have Blackberry's....just regular cell phones or i phones. Will they be able to get my text pictures from my Blackberry using the MMS text feature? I may be crazy but I could swear when I first got my BB a year or two ago, I was able to send text pictures my SMS texts......No?

When we're SMSing and I use the emoticons , they don't show up like they're supposed to on her Incredible - she just gets the jumbled text characters, no emoticons . Is this a setting on her end? We've tried everything. If she uses the Incredible's smiley's in tm's to me, they show up fine on the BB Bold . . .

On my Samsung I would select contacts, select all of the contacts I wanted and text away. I cannot seem to do that with the electrify. It appears I have to type in each persons name.

View 18 Replies View RelatedI came from a note 2 to the s6 and never once had a problem with the phone unlocking in my pocket but it keeps happening with my s6 and it's opening apps and texting and calling people. I don't want to have top set a lock code or anything of I don't have to. If there was a way to stop the phone from lighting up when I get a text I don't think it would unlock but I can't find an option to turn it off.

Since my phone (Curve 9360) was updated to 7.1 Bundle 1133 last week, I can no longer send SMS messages as the numbers are changed to characters. For example, if I try to send an SMS to 63555 it converts it to FRDDD when entered, then when the SMS is sent, it displays (in red) Unidentified subscriber.Is this a problem with the software? I cannot find any setting to disable the search that changes the number to the characters.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI was working a festival as Security/Staff yesterday and I dropped my phone a few times, I got bored sitting around so I downloaded an app called Erie PA Scanner, it worked okay for awhile, then I went to dial somebody and it kept pressing 3 down at a time, wouldnt let me erase, and it was a big problem. Ive had this problem before too, I was just able to delete the app... then it went back to normal, but now I cant even enter my password properly to gain access to my phone . What should I do here ? View 1 Replies View Relatedmy keyboard on my phone will only let me type a j and a k once I press one of them, and the j key types a k and the k key types a j, none of the other buttons do anything when it happens and so I have to reboot, when it does it all over again, what shall I do?Also, the screen goes black after a while if I keep trying other buttons meaning I need to reboot again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a BlackBerry Curve for $10 online through the AT&T website. I ONLY need a phone for phone calls and text messaging. When I called to activate my new SIM card they charged me for a Data Plan ($30 monthly). I learned that I could turn off the Data Usage on the phone itself so that the network does not recognize my phone as a Smartphone and incur Data usage charges. I then called AT&T back to cancel the Data Plan. This was not easy and I insisted that I was using my old Motorola Razor again; otherwise they would not reverse the Data Plan charges.
Since then, my phone has not been able to send or receive any SMS text messages. I also get no error messages whatsoever. This feature had previously worked. Now it doesn't. When I send a text message, it appears to have gone through, but my text recipient indicates otherwise. I also tried to send a text message with my mom's Nokia, but with MY SIM card in it and vise versa; and neither options worked as well.
What is going on? I have been on many forums and can't figure this out. I'm guessing that this is a carrier issue; however, because I got the Data Plan reversed and was adamant about not using a BlackBerry, I can't exactly call them to complain.
i just recently got the new blackberry curve 8330. And im very disapointed with the fact i cant send picture or video txts. My sister is on the roger network and all there phones come with the mms app and they can send pic and vid txts. They can also type more then 140 chars when they are txting and not get cut off. How come telus dosnt allow these fetures? And y do i feel like i got ripped off here
