Aug 2, 2010I've recently had to reformat my memory card as the camera refused to work with the memory card inserted. I took off all pics, videos and music and saved them to the computer. However, when I've gone back to the Ovi store and into the "my stuff" tab, I cannot click the download button on many of the apps (mainly the ones that I actually use which makes it even more annoying). My husband has told me to go into "settings", then "application manager", then finally into "installed apps" and delete the files for the apps that I would like to reinstall (to reactivate the download button again). fantastic idea, but the file names don't give me any sort of clue as to what app they're for. I asked if it would be quicker and easier just to delete everything from the "installed apps" folder, at which point my husband nearly had a breakdown and told me not to do that as there were files in that folder that relate to firmware downloads and could cause more problems by deleting them.

But slowly, over the past few weeks, I've suddenly not been able to click links on any webpages. I can type things in, like in a Google search, but then can't click the search button and nothing happens when I press the enter button on my keyboard either. I know this isn't specific to certain websites because it's happening on sites that worked fine before. I've tried changing my browser, none of them worked.

Jul 30, 2012My blackberry scroller wont click or scroll! I have phoned blackberry and they want to restart it so I wanna see if there is anything I can to fix it to prevent them doing that!
I tried taking out the battery and clicking five times, it works but it broke again then that didnt work again! I also tried putting a piece of tissue between the sim card and the battery and it work but again when is stoped it wouldn't work again!
I have taken to battery in and out soooooo many times and I left the battery and the sim card out for the whole night and part of the day!
BB Curve 83xx :: Shuts Off When I Click Camera?
Mar 31, 2010I ordered a blackberry from ebay (ordered several phones before with no issues) and I can't figure out what's going on. First, I had to figure out how to turn the radio back on as it was off when I got it. Now every time I click "camera" the phone shuts completely off and restarts! Tried two different batteries, on and off the charger, with and without microSD card. Any ideas?

Jul 6, 2010So I have a media card and I have some pictures stored on the device and a majority of them stored on my sd card. When I click on media and then pictures the folder is completely empty and there is nothing there. If I highlight pictures and click explore and then find my pictures it shows that they are on the sd card and it shows that some are stored to the device memory. I can't open the files because the names have been changed to a .al format. Also my pictures folders even when I click explore, are hidden. I try to uncheck the box that says hide so they will no longer be hidden but it doesn't let me. Howw can I get all my pictures back to normal so I can see them when I click on media and pictures?

Jun 5, 2012The trackpad on my curve 9300 keeps breaking. I cannot click or scroll at all. Normally, it's not too bad with a few attempts of taking the battery out then putting it back in, but last night, the screen went white - again - so I took the battery out and it said I had no battery though I had at least 40% on there. When I put the battery back in, and the phone began loading, the menu thing came up. I tried to click, 'unlock' and nothing happened. Seconds later, the screen went black as if the phone doesn't recognize my trackpad anymore. I am sick and tired of having a phone that doesn't work! I wouldn't be as mad if it was the first time, but the thing is, it's happened before and every time I go to the phone shop, they say 'oh, it's not our fault, we'll send it off for repair' and when I eventually get it back (2 weeks later) it works for 4 weeks, and I send it off again. I have sent the [hone of 4 times for 'repair' and each time, it takes 2 weeks; that's 8 weeks, or 2 months that I still have to pay 25 pounds in my contract for a phone that doesn't even work. That's 50 pounds wasted on the worst phone available. I got my current phone back in September (after fighting with my phone provider) and it broke in February.

Jul 12, 2010I am getting a replacement 8530 for my current 8530 because my trackpad is off centered and recently I am now able to move it around. I called verizon explained everything and their answer "software problem, we're sending you a new one under your warranty" Whatever, its physical not software, but they are sending me out a replacement anyways so I dont care.
However, how do I put stuff on the new one? I use blackberry desktop manager, and click "Backup" and it backs up. When I connect the new one do I just click "Restore"? Also when I back up, the tab for contacts is grayed out and I CANNOT click it. So I wont be able to restore that, why?

So i eventually got frustrated enough to make a post on here. What it will do is almost a few times per day it will freeze up the trackpad, making it entirely useless. It wont click, it wont scroll, it wont do ANYTHING. ill do multiple battery pulls and resets and STILL NOTHING. Ive waited 3 hours this time,constantly pulling the battery out, and nothing changes. Jun 6, 2011I am using bb curve 8520 with O2 and has been running perfectly since january. My wifi keeps going on and off which is 1 problem as its not the wifi as it works with laptop. I noticed that while it was off that my bbms weren't sending and my browser and also twitter and facebook apps didn't work. (The only apps I use all the time) I could send emails and texts and it was showing GPRS next to the grey wifi sign. But once the wifi was white these things would work but it only lasted a few minutes before going again.
