BB Curve 8520/8530 :: Alarm Set / Sound Normal But Alarm Wont Go Off?
Jun 20, 2010Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong here? Sometimes (about 1 day a week), I'll set my alarm, but it will not go off. When I look at the phone, it'll have the pop-up indicator thing saying "DISMISS" or "off" (can't remember exactly what it says), that indicates that the alarm was triggered, but it doesn't actually make the alarm sound.Any ideas why this may be happening? I am 100% sure the alarm is set to the right time, and the AM/PM is correct, and the phone is not on "Silent", but the alarm won't actually ring? It doesn't do it all the time, but maybe only once every 7-10 times I set the alarm, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why.This is a big problem for me because I don't have a regular alarm clock, and I use it to wake me up for work. Twice this month I have been late for work because my alarm didn't go off.Can anyone out there possibly help me diagnose this problem? I think my boss thinks that I'm lying to him when I tell him my alarm doesn't go off, and it's really becoming a problem.

Jun 5, 2012The trackpad on my curve 9300 keeps breaking. I cannot click or scroll at all. Normally, it's not too bad with a few attempts of taking the battery out then putting it back in, but last night, the screen went white - again - so I took the battery out and it said I had no battery though I had at least 40% on there. When I put the battery back in, and the phone began loading, the menu thing came up. I tried to click, 'unlock' and nothing happened. Seconds later, the screen went black as if the phone doesn't recognize my trackpad anymore. I am sick and tired of having a phone that doesn't work! I wouldn't be as mad if it was the first time, but the thing is, it's happened before and every time I go to the phone shop, they say 'oh, it's not our fault, we'll send it off for repair' and when I eventually get it back (2 weeks later) it works for 4 weeks, and I send it off again. I have sent the [hone of 4 times for 'repair' and each time, it takes 2 weeks; that's 8 weeks, or 2 months that I still have to pay 25 pounds in my contract for a phone that doesn't even work. That's 50 pounds wasted on the worst phone available. I got my current phone back in September (after fighting with my phone provider) and it broke in February.

BB Curve 8900 :: Alarm Does Not Sound When Screen Is Locked
May 4, 2010since I've upated my BB 8900 to 5.0.0.592 (official release of my provider), the alarm clock is not ringing when the phone is locked.
When it's unlocked there is no problem and the alarm is sounding.
But when it's locked it does only display an information about the alarm on the screen, but no sound :smileysad: How can I fix that? I'dont want to get too late too often!

Sep 17, 2012I have been experiencing some problems with my blackberry 9300, when I receive an incoming email, the blackberry does not sound but the led works, other notifications like pins and sms and call ringing, does sound in the loud profile; I had made a lot of things in order to repair this problem, I have made a hard reset to the BB, I have tried to set again the sound scheme in the selected profile, I have changed the bb to others profiles and I have also take out the battery for some minutes and I have not make possible the bb sound again when I receive a email.

IPhone :: 4S Keyboard Click Sound Not Working
May 10, 2012Two nights ago when I was in the middle of typing a txt message the keyboard clicks stopped sounding? I've checked the mute slider which is not on mute. Also when I press up or down on the volume controls, no bars appear to show the volume level, just the image of the bell without a line through it. I have tried a hard reset and checked all the volume settings in sounds but they are all switched to on. When I had headphones plugged in and tried txting I could hear the clicks and the lock sound. I have also cleaned the USB connector with a soft toothbrush...?? My macbook is currently with a computer engineer as he is trying to transfer data from my old laptop so cannot connect to my itunes.
