May 11, 2012My G-sensor(flipping the phone) dosen't work. whenever i click calibrate on any flat horizontal surface it says calibration aborted. This has not always been the case as it was working when i first got it. but now it dosent work, i have even tried factory reset. i am sending it in to be repaired but i was wondering if this was a big problem or just me?

Jun 5, 2012The trackpad on my curve 9300 keeps breaking. I cannot click or scroll at all. Normally, it's not too bad with a few attempts of taking the battery out then putting it back in, but last night, the screen went white - again - so I took the battery out and it said I had no battery though I had at least 40% on there. When I put the battery back in, and the phone began loading, the menu thing came up. I tried to click, 'unlock' and nothing happened. Seconds later, the screen went black as if the phone doesn't recognize my trackpad anymore. I am sick and tired of having a phone that doesn't work! I wouldn't be as mad if it was the first time, but the thing is, it's happened before and every time I go to the phone shop, they say 'oh, it's not our fault, we'll send it off for repair' and when I eventually get it back (2 weeks later) it works for 4 weeks, and I send it off again. I have sent the [hone of 4 times for 'repair' and each time, it takes 2 weeks; that's 8 weeks, or 2 months that I still have to pay 25 pounds in my contract for a phone that doesn't even work. That's 50 pounds wasted on the worst phone available. I got my current phone back in September (after fighting with my phone provider) and it broke in February.

Jun 9, 2010If you click on the upper part of your trackpad does it not make a clicking noise and do you feel it click down? mine doesn't , but every where else it does( middle, left and right and bottom). I did the trackpad fix and my trackpad is very solid and even now.

A month back the trackpad started giving me problems (for e.g. freezing, not scrolling to the right or left side) than suddenly after few days my Keypad also konked off and magically my trackpad started working absolutely fine.. I went to the shop where i purchased my BB from and got my KeyPad replaced but as soon as i got back home my Trackpad started giving me problems... I went back to the shop again and got my Trackpad replaced... Still the problem Presits however my keypad is working fine.

Jul 15, 2011my track pad stopped working suddenly, out of nowhere, it came and went for like 2 weeks, then started working properly again. Now ive got a problem with my "A" button, which doesnt work at all and have discovered that my delete button is constantly being pressed even when i take off the cover, etc. Which basicly means anything i write is automaticly deleted... After this problem went away, now none of the buttons on the keyboard work , not even the delete button. I am going to send it to the repair but I HAVE TO BACK UP EVERYTHING FIRST, but i cannot do it because i cannot get into my simcard, to save all the numbers from the phone onto there and save the stuff on my phone onto the computer

Model info and OS version: Curve 8530 5.0 Bundle 1675 (just upgraded)
Apps and free space File free before and after a battery remove/replace. (Go to Settings, then Options, then status): 106575952
Did a battery pull fix your issue?: No Apps installed and their version if possible. (Go to Settings, then Options, then applications): None BT device model/version (you will have to look at the BT device): None Scroll pad works on and off, will not work on some menus. E key will work sometimes, usualt types an upper case E and not a lower case, will not type 2 E's in a row. Works ok when typing a 2. There were some other buttons giving issues a while ago and then it all went away and now this just started again out of nowhere. I tried backing up / wiping the phone, upgraded to the latest software and it is still giving me issues. The phone has never been exposed to any sort of moisture, I don't even use it in the rain.Another issue, possibly related, possibly not is that I get 1 vertical line and 1 horizontal line in my photos I take. This started out happening sometimes and not other times but now it is constant.

May 11, 2011I've tried removing the battery and this doesnt work, there is no water damage, when the phone just turns on I could move with the trackpad but I cannot click Ok on the message. None of the buttons work.

I had my phone in my pocket today for about 30 minutes and when I went to take it out none of the buttons were responsive the only thing that worked was the track pad. Jul 11, 2010I just got the 8350 curve 3 days ago.. Now my Track ball wont work at all.Today I did drop it but it was working just fine. Then I downloaded a game and a theme.. about 30 mins after the theme it started not to work.The only thing I can do is take a picture.The track ball wont move at all. Left or right. It will take a picture.Is there anything I can do? When i send my pin to friends it does not get sent and when they send to me all i get is pending, it has been like this since i had it. I never purchased it brand new but it had hardley been used. Feb 13, 2012Alright, so the trackpad isn't working, but at the same time it is. When I use it with my bare skin, it doesn't work, it takes many swips to do anything. But when I use it with say a piece of tape, or a cloth on the end of my fingers it works great and without a problem.
It's a used phone so swapping it is not an option, but is there some way to fix it?

Sep 16, 2012my blackberry curve 9300 track pad just stopped working. i tried removing the battery and sim card, several times, to reboot the phone but it didnt work. later on i tried to re-insert my sim card, the track pad is moving up and down, left to right, but when i try using for clicking and opening sms or email for example, it couldnt possibly work.also, my email started coming in, but sms does not, it keeps on popping a message that my sim card messaging memory is full, when i no longer have sms kept because i deleted them to save space.

Jan 22, 2012my blackberry curve 9300 seems to require a reboot after sometime when I'm using a facebook/ twitter/ whatsapp to get it to work or else a pop will appear saying, "you are currently on a service plan that does not support this application. If you want to use this application please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan.".I do not have a BIS plan but I am able to get into BB App World, Facebook app, twitter app, whatsapp app through WiFi but the pop up appears after more or less an hour and leads me having to reboot by blackberry to get it to work again. It is getting quite annoying.PS: I already tried registering HRT but I received nothing and my clock is set to automatic update. My current app version is 6.0.0.600 (2647) and all apps are updated to the latest version.
