I have a Nokia 6710 Navigator. I have downloaded an mp3 onto my phone, which I want to use as my alarm tone. I have selected the song as my alarm tone, and at the set time the song begins playing.
My issue is that, when playing as an alarm, only 1 minute of the mp3 plays.
Is it possible to change the settings so that the whole mp3 file plays (approx 3 minutes) when I'm using it as an alarm?
I like the Standard Alarm Tone in my Asha 300 and would like to save it to my other Nokia phone, How do I find the name of this tone & download/transfer it?
This is only the second time this has happened since I got the phone a few weeks back.I have all of my messages set to different specific ringtones. My SMS to one, my MMS to one, my email to one etc. So tonight I rcvd an email and instead of playing the tone it always plays that it is set for (one of the generic preloaded notifier tones)... it played my SMS tone (which is an actual song tone) to alert me to my email.
And NO I didnt recieve a new SMS at the same time. That folder is empty and the only red star alert was on my email envelope. Like I said this is very, very few and far between but why would this happen??I went over every one of my sound/alert settings and they are all the way they should be set for my liking.
I just transferred 250+ songs from my computer to my phone (5230) but only 13 songs maintained some of their information. All the others are missing album art, album names, artists, etc., which were all in place in windows media player, from where I transferred them.
I have only just got my X10 but keep missing messages as the message tones on the X10 are so short..On the phone I had before you could set a song as a message tone so you had as long as the song went on for to hear you had a message.
Initially there was an option to use either songs that i have as my alarm tone or to choose inbuilt alarm tonesBut by mistake i clicked on the always option instead of the just once option.
why Four Thieves Gone by the Avett Brothers only has 16 songs listed at Nokia's music store when it's supposed to have 17. The last song, Four Thieves Gone is missing from the download selection?

I would like to be able to use the radio on this as an alarm clock as it is an option in the alarm settings but yet it cant be played out loud?
I am using the standard calendar app on 2.1 firmware and I cannot see any setting to set the alarm signal for when the calendar time/date has reached or will I have to download a third part app file to have a calendar with alarm signal? and preferably one where I can set my own mp3 sound as a calendar alert.
I have a desired alarm file in built-in alarm clock. However, it does not appear in the list of alarm in built-in calendar. Where and how can I use the same alarm file for my built-in calendar?
I am encountering some trouble when usign mix radio in offline mode. More precisely I have a Mix downloaded to the device. After each song, music pauses and I have to resume manually. I do not know if disabling the mobile internet connection does help, but when at home on WiFi, the problem does not occur. I.e. I have the impression that offline mix radio with mobile internet enabled has open issues.

I have a Nokia 5800XM since 1 year and I have an issue since a few weeks. I Updated my phone to the 40.0.005 firmware version When I play a music with the music player, at the end of the song, there is a General System error and I can't use the payer anymore. But the rest of the phone system is operational, I can do what I want (except playing music). If I reboot the phone, I can play 1 song and the same error appears. I've tried a soft reset, a hard reset and a firmware reinstallation. The problem remains the same.
