I have a song from my music library set as my ringtone and as far as just using it when it turns on it works fine. But if at any point I go to play other music in my music library, it turns into a generic alert tone, until I power my phone off and back on. I figure if I could stop the music in my library instead of just pause it that would work, but I see no way to do that.
Are there any song tagging apps that will allow me to change my music info on my SD card? I tried itag but it doesn't work with the music on my sd card. Wants me to save everything on my internal memory.
I have just got a 5230 as my N95 finally gave up and I have managed to transfer everything and set up the 5230 as I want it apart from the ringtones. I just cant set a song as a ringtone on my nokia 5230 it says file is protected but it plays in the music player. All songs I have downloaded have been purchased from Nokia music store and transfered to the 5230 via usb cable as I realised that doing it via bluetooth doesnt transfer the licences aswell so I re did all that. they are the same songs that I had set as ringtones on my N95 with no problems, what am I doing wrong?
I just transferred 250+ songs from my computer to my phone (5230) but only 13 songs maintained some of their information. All the others are missing album art, album names, artists, etc., which were all in place in windows media player, from where I transferred them.

I have a Nokia 6710 Navigator. I have downloaded an mp3 onto my phone, which I want to use as my alarm tone. I have selected the song as my alarm tone, and at the set time the song begins playing.
My issue is that, when playing as an alarm, only 1 minute of the mp3 plays.
Is it possible to change the settings so that the whole mp3 file plays (approx 3 minutes) when I'm using it as an alarm?

A number of years ago I loaded a piece of music onto my wife's Nokia 6303 and set it as the ringtone. We seem to have recently lost it as a ringtone, although it's still there in Media Player. Unfortunately, for the life of me I can't remember how I made it a ringtone.
