Aug 24, 2010I have a Nokia 6710 Navigator. I have downloaded an mp3 onto my phone, which I want to use as my alarm tone. I have selected the song as my alarm tone, and at the set time the song begins playing.
My issue is that, when playing as an alarm, only 1 minute of the mp3 plays.
Is it possible to change the settings so that the whole mp3 file plays (approx 3 minutes) when I'm using it as an alarm?

Jun 20, 2010Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong here? Sometimes (about 1 day a week), I'll set my alarm, but it will not go off. When I look at the phone, it'll have the pop-up indicator thing saying "DISMISS" or "off" (can't remember exactly what it says), that indicates that the alarm was triggered, but it doesn't actually make the alarm sound.Any ideas why this may be happening? I am 100% sure the alarm is set to the right time, and the AM/PM is correct, and the phone is not on "Silent", but the alarm won't actually ring? It doesn't do it all the time, but maybe only once every 7-10 times I set the alarm, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why.This is a big problem for me because I don't have a regular alarm clock, and I use it to wake me up for work. Twice this month I have been late for work because my alarm didn't go off.Can anyone out there possibly help me diagnose this problem? I think my boss thinks that I'm lying to him when I tell him my alarm doesn't go off, and it's really becoming a problem.

Apr 4, 2011It seems on Nokia E71, the alarm settings are lost when an alarm is activated while the mobile is turned off.The sequence which i followed was.# set an alarm with time = current time + 5 mins# switched off the mobile# When the alarm time reaches the alarm goes on and asks "if we want to turn on the phone"; select 'no'.[My opinion is that at this stage it should just inform the user that the phone is switched off, rather than giving an option to turn on the phone.]# turn on the phone and go to Menu_office_clock and check the previous alarm settings. All of them would be deleted. I saw the same error in E72 and E63.

May 8, 2012My iphone 4 plays the same songs over and over in my playlist. there are plenty of songs that it hasn't played and it repeats ones that has already played. i see that there is an app called true shuffle pro for $4.99. but my should i have to pay for this when i have already paid for so much and this seems like an easy fix in the software. seems like once again apple continues. to monopolize its software so you have to purchase higher upgrade phones and apps.

May 31, 2012I can listen to the song from start to finish on iTunes, but it always stops at 1:05 when I'm using my iPod app on my iPhone 3GS 8GB. I did not change the start/stop time of the song, the stop time says it's at 2:34 but it always skips to the next song when it reaches 1:05. If I click and drag the timer bar to 1:06, the song continues and finishes at 2:34. I have tried overwriting the .mp3, did not work.
