View 1 RepliesMy buttons seemed to have stopped working properly. In order to adjust the volume using the side button, I have to shut down the phone and then restart it. It will work for a while and then stops working and I have to go thru the process again. The home button just works whenever it wants. It doesn't fix the problem when I restart the phone. I can slide my finger in a circle around the button and it still doesn't work.

I switched from a Motorola Droid Maxx on Verizon to a Nexus 5 on T-Mobile. The Maxx had outstanding volume. I could turn on Pandora and listen to music while in the shower or outside working. With the Nexus I struggle to hear the lyrics in the songs from only a few feet away. Is this normal for any of you or is mine particularly low?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen using the Google Music Beta, is there a more elegant solution for adjusting volume other than fumbling with the up/down volume buttons on the side? Most music players appear to have some sort of volume slider on the screen. but other than play/pause/skip virtual buttons, I see no inherent volume control on the player.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhy is Windows Phone having version 7.5 if it still can't set different volumes for music and notifications... When I listen to radio the volume setting of 1 is often loud enough, if I then put it in my pocket I mis all calls as it is not loud enough. If I set it back at level 25 I get woken up at night for incoming mails... BTW, why can't I even define (off-)peak synchronisation intervals for my mails?

In Froyo on the Droid 1, the headset's control button would play or pause the music app. In gingerbread on the Droid 4, it goes to the completely useless "voice commands" app. I can't uninstall the app, and there are no settings to disable it. How do I get the headset control button to control the music app again?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem that I cannot solve. Firstly my blackberry model is 8900 and the version is v 3.2.33 (b3.5). The problem started when I put on the phone it will write uncaught exception: a browser content provider for video/3gpp MIME type has already been registered with the browser. Once the phone is ready for use I cannot listen to music, I thought it was the memory card so I formatted the memory card but I later realized it wasn't the memory card because when I try to play the ringtone it is always writing unable to play content.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to increase the volume of the music by pressing the volume button it changes my song selection. When I insert the BB Torch into my belt holder and then try to increase the music volume it actually works. I tried calling customer support at AT&T and was told that I need to take my phone to the nearest AT&T store and have the BB software upgraded. Is there a fix for this issue? I am becoming frustrated with my purchase to the newest,"best" blackberry that RIM has ever sold. My opinion is that the device has fallen short of everyone's expectations and the lack of technical support leaves me feeling that RIM does not feel that they need to be held accountable for taking people's money for a product that fails to perform as they advertised. The product that I purchased fails to do all the things that I was believed it would do when I purchased it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe increase (top one) volume button on the side of the phone does not work. The decrease volume button work fine. For example, I open up media player, put on an mp3, but it is too low to be able to hear so I click the volume button to increase it but it just does nothing. I have threw my Blackberry once or twice in frustration since I got it for Christmas. I imagine this might have something to do with the fault but I don't know for sure.
