Apr 24, 2012I bought a 4s about 3 months ago, and have been using the new earphones with it. In the last few days, as I'll be listning to music, there has been a popping noise coming from just one of the earphones. It doesn't sound like an electronic pop, like coming from the music or whatever,but it sounds like there is actually something clicking/popping inside the earphone. Could there literally be something inside that's doing that? Or is it a software issue that sounds like a physically created noise? Can I get my headohones replaced?

Feb 26, 2011I am having a problem that I cannot solve. Firstly my blackberry model is 8900 and the version is v 3.2.33 (b3.5). The problem started when I put on the phone it will write uncaught exception: a browser content provider for video/3gpp MIME type has already been registered with the browser. Once the phone is ready for use I cannot listen to music, I thought it was the memory card so I formatted the memory card but I later realized it wasn't the memory card because when I try to play the ringtone it is always writing unable to play content.

Jan 4, 2012ok, I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem but i just updated to the latest software version.My problem is that i can't listen to music using my headphones, I've tried a whole bunch of different ones and I still experience the same problem so it's definitely the phone.I tried searching online but nobody seems to have the same issue.When I play a song, it plays for a second, maybe even less, then it stops. I press play and it happens again.

Dec 7, 2015Just noticed that whenever the phone wants to make a tone through the speaker, it will have a lot of background noise along with that sound. That background noise will prolong for a few second after finishing the tone it's supposed to make, then goes back to being silent.
For example, if I start typing on my keyboard, the phone obviously will play the key sound. The background noise will start but then will go back silent a few second after I finish typing.

May 2, 2012Have been using my lumia 900 for a month. I noticed that there is a white/hissing noise in the background from the phone when listening to music using headphones. It starts right before the music starts to play and stops some seconds after pausing music. There is also a click sound in between songs. I can definitely confirm this is not from music files. If I plug headphones in and unlock the phone when not playing any music, I can hear the white background noise for a few seconds before it goes off. I've seen several posts reporting on the same issue from both lumia 800 and 900 (search white noise in the forum). It is very annoying! In addition, the volume buttons on my lumia 900 don't always work when screen is off, which has also been seen by many users. I'd say listening to music from headphones using lumia 900 is a bad experience due to these issues. I like lumia's design and overall it is a great phone. But these bugs disappoint me a lot.

Jan 6, 2012What I like to do (and have always done with my other, non-blackberry phones) is go outside for a smoke, while listening to some music on my phone, then come back in, send some text messages and maybe make a call, then go out for another smoke, playing the music where I left off. My new bb curve 9360 can't seem to do that. Once I navigate to any other apps or anything, it resets the music player, gets rid of Now Playing and I have to start all over (I try to cycle through all my mp3s on random/shuffle). How can I even get to texting w/o stopping the music. Shouldn't there be a Home button or something (that doesn't stop the music)? I set up facebook. Now how do I stop all the activation sounds every time someone posts something?

So i'm looking for an mp3 music player that does (pref adfree free, paid can work too) but it MUST support the HFP profile for my helmet bluetooth scala rider. It's an older model that doesn't support A2DP.
Posting this here cause i've got no clue what to use, if such a thing exists at all.A bonus would be that navigation instructions (navigon europe over HFP) still come through. Not asking for what's best etc, just curious if such a thing exists. I'll make my own choice afterwards. Free (no ads) if possible, paid is an option too.
