After an update of some applications, my curve doesn't boot anymore. I just have the red light flashing (2 flashes pause 3 flashes). I tried to reload the OS, but my BB is not recognised. I tried different USB ports, nothing happens.

I have downloaded Android SDK 3.2 and Google USB driver as mentioned in the instruction there but when I try to connect to my phone it says there is no suitable driver. I went to Device Manager and under "other devices" there is entry for "F1Boot Fastboot" for which I'm trying to install the driver. I selected update driver software > browse my computer for driver > gave path to the usb_driver folder (C:Androidandroid-sdkextrasgoogleusb_driver) but it fails to find the necessary driver!
I am using Windows 7 64 bit and I checked the service setup of my phone to make sure that my phone is entitled for unlock of boot loader.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using G920I Australia version. I can successfully root using CF-Auto-Root.
But I can not get into TWRP recovery after I flashed that (tried both versions of the recovery) using odin. It stops at the first screen (samsung logo). I tried using adb commond reboot recovery and the hardware key (volum up+power+home), both of them do not let me in to the custom recovery.
I had tried enabled knox before flash TWRP, which made it into boot loop. And then recoveried using the official firmware. Now I can only get into the official recovery.
How to get into the TWRP? BTW, how to backup the pit file using adb? On previous models it was mmcblk0, but Galaxy S6 seems to have changed the memory map to sda1, sda2, etc.
Yessterday my Nexus 5 battery drained out and instead of shutting down, it tried to restart and got stuck in the startup sequence with the dots floating on the screen. I went into bootloader mode and then into recovery mode where I saw the cache errors.

I started to read a bit more on fixing the issue and the first solution was to flash it with the stock cache.img. However, when I unlock the OEM using fastboot oem unlock and reboot the boot-loader, it is going back to the locked state. I'm not sure if I'm going wrong somewhere but I haven't been able to flash my phone yet with the stock rom.
yesterday I connected my Z2 to a regular headphone jack and few seconds later the phone turned off.
Now it can´t turn it on if i try to turn it on it shows the regular boot (sony xperia shows up) and the the screen goes black.
Tried to repair it with pcc but on the stage that i should connect the usb cable to the phone and press the down button nothing happens. So what to do?
After fully charging the phone yesterday, when I went out to get food, my phone shut down along the way and being unable to boot. My phone is running on stock 5.0 with no mods
At first, I was able to get to the colored dots loading screen but it would always get stuck there and shut off. Then I keep trying to restart it up and it got worse and worse, now I'm always stuck at the GOOGLE screen. I'm not sure if this is a boot loop issue as it just gets stuck at GOOGLE screen. I tried the recovery mode cache wipe and it gets stuck at the GOOGLE screen in the middle of the wipe.
So this morning, after fiddling around the power buttons some more, I am able to get the battery logo while charging, though it is weird that it shows 100% then completely drained the next minute or so. I try to load into the recovery mode again and this is what I see at the bottom

having the weirdest issue in my N97 since updating my firmware to v20. When i click on Menu and then 'Photos', Menu disappears and im going back to the Home screen (idle), of course tried switching off and on, removing the battery, nothing helps. Then i found out that 'Photos' can only be opened in horizonal mode (opening the keyboard). In horizonal mode i can click Menu and then Photos, the 'Photos' is opened perfectly. (switching back to vertical seems ok, Photos stays open)

I kept getting messages saying that i had purchased songs that hadnt transfered and asking if i wanted to transfer them to itunes. i said yes and it immediately said it detected a device but it couldnt read it properly. so i attempted to restore it to factory settings. (after switching out USB cables and uninstalling/reinstalling itunes) i hit restore and it asked if i wanted to restore and i hit yes only to have a pop-up detailing all the new features on the 5.1 update. i cannot get past this point.

I received an update notification today on my Xperia mini. For whatever reason Sony only provide this update via a PC. Tried to carry out the update on 2 computers without success. On one computer PC companion returns an eror message at the 'preparing computer' stage - no help on how to rectify the problem. On my laptop, PC companion switches off my phone and then freezes the computer. I di on one attempt get to the 'update' stage where I was presented with some odd manipulations of disconnecting and re-connecting the phone. I followed the instructions but then update process didn't continue.Can anyone cast any light on this or better still can Sony provide the update OTA?

A backup was made before installation; and although a second update attempt was succesful, I am unable to find or use the backup that the loader made. I also tried connecting the phone to another computer that I had previously backed it up on, but the computer now recognizes the phone as new, and not as the phone previously backed up. how to correct it? I really just need to restore the contacts.

I have a 32 GB HTC One M9 from Verizon on stock Lollipop Android, and it has been working perfectly until this morning. I woke up to my M9 stuck in a bootloop. It would boot to the HTC logo, stay there for about 10 sec, then go black and constantly restart again (even as I type this). I can access the bootloader, but it seems none of the options work for me! I can't boot to recovery mode or even power off my phone. It just constantly boots again by itself.

All of sudden, it showed "Cleaning Memory" and ever since it has been showing a white screen with the clock. I even tried removing the battery, the memory card, etc to re-boot, but its not working. It starts to boot up, then crashes after the loading bar moves about 1:8th along the load bar. I have tried to connect to the Blackberry Desk top software and I have tried to wipe the BB using JL_Cmdr but the phone does not stay on long enough to connect to anything. My phone died yesterday and much to my horror I find that I cannot use safe mode as when I hold the escape key down the phone reboots before it comes up. So I have no way of restoring the backup as the desktop software will not connect to the phone while it is rebooting.
