Nov 10, 2011I'm having this big problem regarding my Nokia C3-00. I was updating my software a while ago when suddenly it turned off in the middle of the installation process.. and since then I can't seem to open it. There are important files on my phone memory and I can;t recover it.

Jan 12, 2012I have nokia 700 i have a different problem with nokia maps, by mistake i uninstalled the nokia maps and now when im trying to install again OTA, it says something went wrong and closes from ovi store. i tried opening the same in OVI suite and it says that the files / folders are broken. i tried to format the mass storage and also did a hard reset, but nothing seems to work.

Feb 24, 2010I bought a new E55 unlocked.I have a problem with it, i am only able to install j2me but cant install any sisx apps.ive tried downloading new ones e.g. from www.fring.com for my OS directly on the phone and also gmaps, stright from the phone browser but all in vain it gives an error "Unable to install" i checked the settings in App manager and set it to all software installation and online check is desabled, tried to install again, no victory, same error. tried to update firmware to this new version from pc, it failed, halted the ongoing update then tried OTA , it succeeded but the version it updated it to is 022.009 and not the latest tried software installation again, got the same error my mind is boggled as to what is going on any ideas guys.Ps: i went into *#0000# and then into options and update still gets the 022.009 version my variant is "asia pacific" region.

Sep 9, 2010I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 and was updating the latest application on it yesterday. Due to low battrey my laptop turned off before the sofware was properly installed. I have tried the following:
1) to take out the battrey and switch on the phone and tried to load the sofware again but that does not seem to work as the desktop software does not recognise my phone it says unknown device.
2) I have tried to use the update option in the website but that also does not seem to be working

Jul 22, 2011I work with a Nokia C5-00 operator locked (Movistar Spain) one month ago. When I connect it thru Ovi Suite (in a Windows 7 box), a firmware update was available, and yesterday I tried to do the upgrade.
Ovi Suite detected my phone, and a few moments later, backup its contents, and started to download the new firmware. Troubles came when Ovi Suite began to do the update, as it failed with a "Network Connect Error" when started to do the process.
Screen of my phone went completely white, and after disconnecting the USB cable, the phone simply died, except when I press the red button (it makes a vibration, but screen doesn't turn on). If I reconnect the phone to the computer, Windows try to install a "Nokia USB ROM" device, but unsuccessfully.
Can I make a sort of "reset" to revive my phone?
Cseries :: C5-03 After Updating - The Offline Navigation Does Not Work
Dec 25, 2012I have nokia C5-03. I was silly and updated the software and the maps. Till the updating method everything works fine. After updating, the gps navigation does not work in offline mode (in online mode works fine). When I switch to offline mode (with only built gps, ofcourse without A-gps) -the c5-03 can find the gps coordinates quickly in my house, so the hardwer works absolutely fine - and try to give a target in car driving mode, c5-03 tells me that from this place there is no road available with car. In pedestrian mode the situation is the same, only the message is a little different. I tried to delete the cities dir, and rebuild and reload all from nokia suite with PC, but no changes, Offline navigation does not work. I rebuild the new software again, but without success. how to down-grade to the previous working fw?

I followed every instruction but I had to abort the process when PC Companion prompted me to discontinue due to low battery conditions. I charged my battery. I connected phone and continued process. In step two - prepare - I get the error message: Installation Error: unable to install or start phone software update components. I tried several times but I still get the same error. But i have a problem with it ..... the problem that when i download any thing from nokia OVI Store from my mobile like: Games, apps and videos when download finished and starting to install the games or the apps it's say's: "installation failed" and when i redownload it again nothing change and keep saying "installation failed" ........ and i noted that when i install app ( themes, apps and games ) on my mobile by ovi suite or by file manager it also say's to me "Expired Certificat" even if i signed this apps but it alwyas say's "Expired Certificat"....... for this problem i did: hard reset - format my mobile - format my sd card - update my mobile to v40 - but the problem never stops to return in a few hours ..... then i find out that when i need to install any app on my mobile (by ovi suite or ovi store in my mobile or file manager) i have to switch off the mobile and turn it on again to install what ever i want ...... so Plz help me out

Nokia :: N97 Unable In Updating Firmware To V20
Jan 6, 2010having the weirdest issue in my N97 since updating my firmware to v20. When i click on Menu and then 'Photos', Menu disappears and im going back to the Home screen (idle), of course tried switching off and on, removing the battery, nothing helps. Then i found out that 'Photos' can only be opened in horizonal mode (opening the keyboard). In horizonal mode i can click Menu and then Photos, the 'Photos' is opened perfectly. (switching back to vertical seems ok, Photos stays open)
