BB Curve :: Setting Up Bluetooth - Driver Missing?
Aug 25, 2011
I am trying to pair my laptop with my 9300 - the driver is missing so when I try to update the driver, I select Blackberry Smartphone - once it tries to run - it says "Windows found a driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. Blackberry Smartphone... This device cannot start. (Code10)
I'm trying to pair for a couple of reasons - primarily to bluetooth tether using my data plan to get my laptop on the internet.
My Apple Mobile Device Usb Driver Does'nt Show up in my Device Manager. But when i go Control panel>> Admin Tools>> Services its there but when i go Start>>Run type in devmgmt.msc an the device manager comes up an under the heading Universal Control Bus Contoller the Apple mobile device usb driver is suppoed to appear but it doesnt all my other usb attached devices do
I have tried everything to remove the nokia connectivity cable driver from my pc but i can't, it's currently preventing me from installing new ovi suite.I used Nokia pc suite cleaner, cleared up registry.... but i can't uninstall. It is also unable to install newer/older drivers. Also i tried to create the missing msi driver but i can't find it online (version 126.96.36.199) I'm on win7?
I'm trying to sync with Outlook 2007 using Desktop Mgr 5.0 (on XP SP3) to my 8310 Curve running 188.8.131.52 OS. I can pair devices and have the bluetooth option in Desktop Mgr un-greyed (so I'm running the correct Microsoft BT stack on XP) but I can't get Desktop Mgr to connect or do the synch. From reading other forum entries it woud seem this is because Bluetooth Services display on my BB does not list 'Desktop Connectivity' or 'Wireless Bypass' services (so I fail the device pre-req described in this KB article http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/viewContent.do?externalId=KB04132) How do I get these services installed on my BB ??? I suspect this is something to do with the fact that I was on BES, but am now disconnected and on BIS only. I did a phone Wipe when I switched from BES to BIS, and this has removed all obvious signs of the IT Policy imposed when I was on BES .... e.g. there is now no mention of Policy on the Security/General Settings screen, and I've had no problems doing other stuff (like installing new apps) that I was prohibited from doing when I was on BES. Any ideas as to how I get those missing services installed on my BB ?? Some way of forcing an install?
I am unable to receive videos via Bluetooth because when I go Media >>>> Media Type >>>> Options, I don't see the "Receive via Bluetooth option. My Bluetooth is turned on and our phones are paired, but the menu option is missing on my phone. What could be wrong, and how can I fix it, will doing a factory reset to reset the phone back to v5 and then reinstalling 6 OS fix this problem.
I am unable to successfully add my Blackberry 9700 as a bluetooth device paired to my Windows 7 64 bit laptop in order to use the wireless syncing function. When I attempt to pair the device, I receive the error message "device driver was not successfully installed" and "Bluetooth peripheral device- no driver found." The properties display 2 missing drivers. Can someone advise me from where I can obtain these missing drivers. I am using Desktop Manager 184.108.40.206.
My phone is Nokia 2730 classic and I have this software: PC Connectivity Solution: Version 220.127.116.11 Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver: Version 18.104.22.168 Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP 32-bit Edition, Service Pack 3 Language: eesti Language for non-Unicode programs: Eesti Detected Internet browsers: - Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 (Default browser) - Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Detected Bluetooth stacks: - Microsoft (Version: 5.1.2600, Build: 5512)
The problem is that I cant use my phone as an internet modem via bluetooth with Microsoft bluetooth stack (everything else works). I tried the BlueSoleil 6.4.299.0 driver and it works fine but I do not want to pay extra 19.95 euros for the driver.
I recently connected my Nokia 5800 to my bluetooth connection on my Windows 7 Ultimate pc of which downloads and installs the drivers from Windows Update. This works fine for the most part but i am left with 3x Bluetooth Peripher Device enteries showing in Device Manager and a Yellow Exclimation Mark located next to the Nokia 5800 device icon in Device and Printers but i cannot seem to find out what drivers are missing, even Windows Update find nothing for these entries.I have the latest version of Ovi Suite installed on my computer but this does not install any bluetooth drivers, I have the latest drivers for my Trust 16008 Bluetooth dongle but these 3x Bluetooth Peripheral Device enteries only appear when i connect the Nokia 5800 to bluetooth. I have also tried to locate the drivers from the support CD but this fails also.
I have tried looking on Nokia Discussions for a solution but it seems i am not the only person that is having the problem with these enteries in Device Manager and no drivers for them.It seems that Nokia has not released the relevent drivers therefor full Bluetooth Driver installation is incomplete.I would like Nokia to fully rectify the situation and explain why these drivers are missing and if they will be released.
Both laptop and phone see one another but the laptop gives me error message that driver cannot be installed. First query: Can this android phone interface with Win 7 OS via bluetooth? Would a LAN connection be more optimal. If so, can I connect phone to my home LAN?
Ive found several devices or apps that actually block Texting emailing even calls for phones in motion. But they all seem to work with Droid or every other phone besides Apple!? Does anyone know of a device or app that actually BLOCKs a driver from texting while driving.
I just bought new blackberry bold 9700 , and i did restore from my old blackberry bold at&t carrier.the new bold 9700 carrier is [ZAIN KUWAIT] anyhow i tired to find the folder setting icons and i can't find i did my own setting folder , how can i bring the setting folder back i mean the exactly folder not custom?
I had a BES account setup on my Torch 9800. Wiped the email settings - Options > Security > Security Wipe with only Emails selected. Now when i go to Setup and E-mail accounts it only gives me the option of setting up Yahoo, Gmail, Windows Live, Other and create new adressIt used to ask me here whether i want to setup a Internet Account or Enterprise Account. So how do i setup a BES account now on my device?I did delete all the service books related to my BES account that was on the device as i thought that would've deleted the actual account but i didn't so i had to do the security wipe?
Recently i plugged in my Droid 4 to try and put some pics from my computer to my phone. Before i've done this without any problems but now whenever i plug my droid into my computer the option that appears is the task bar that says USB mass storage, Charge only, etc. is gone and no computer i plug it into recognizes the phone. I've tried multiple cords and tried downloading different things for my computer to fix it that i've seen on other forum posts and it never works.
Whenever it plugs into a computer it charges it but that is it. I've turned on USB Debugging or whatever and that doesn't help either. It used to work fine and now it doens't,
The one issue I have is that there is no motion detector option when using Smart Actions. I have a FIDO (Canadian Carrier) RAZR and everything is up to date included the Smart Actions app.The system version I am using is 651.167.3331.XT910.Fido.en.CA?
Prior to the GB update there was an option to trigger a Notification Sound only on receipt of the first email. Upon receipt of subsequent emails, the phone would remain silent. I cannot find a similar setting in GB.
I'm trying to link my RAZR HD and 64-bit Windows 7 laptop through bluetooth (Intel Centrino Bluetooth 3.0 adapter). I pair them, but when the driver installation starts, all but one of the 5 driver installations fail. Is this a Motorola problem and if so, is there anywhere I can download the correct drivers? I'm 90% sure everything is up to date on the laptop end of the equation.
